Very good place, near to all public trasportation i.e. train station, bus, metro. There are a lot of restuarants around the hotel. Very good breakfast with Japanese style.

The hotel is about 5-8min walk from Toyama station. There are two Lawson and one Family Mart along the way from Toyama station to the hotel, so it is easy to stop and get supplies. Hotel check in was smooth, although hotel staff not able to communicate well in English. They also did not respond to my email and message sent via Agoda apps. Breakfast was simple and yet delicious.

We got the Japanese style/Ryokan room and it was an amazing experience itself. It was clean and had all the basic facilities. A few minutes from Toyama station and with nearby convenience stores and restaurants. This place is recommended!

Review on stay in Hotel Prime Toyama”
I went to stay in Hotel Prime Toyama during my stay in Japan in April 2017. Service was great and staff are quite friendly in welcoming you and assisting with the necessary. They are able to understand english as well which makes the communication more easier. The hotel is quite clean and quiet. Location wise is acceptable for me - just few mins walk to Toyama station. Just that I got lost in identifying the location so end up taking cab from the station to the hotel. I have opted for the breakfast service during my stay. Limited food selection but it is acceptable for me since I prefer light meals at the start of the day and quite homely feeling type of meal. Facilities are acceptable too, just that it would be great if they can let the customers know about the air-conditional temperature setting or limits during the season period. Overall, I enjoyed my time in Toyama and the services in the hotel. I can say I am looking forward to visit Toyama again and staying in Hotel Prime Toyama as well during my next stay. Good job!

-This hotel is about 10-15 mins walk to Toyama station. -Breakfast is good -The staffs can't speak English well but they are really helpful and will try so hard to solve your problem. I was amazed with a woman staff (I forgot the name), she tried to find information that I need and will explain to me slowly until I understand. -If you are going to explore Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route and need to catch the early train in Dentetsu Toyama st, this hotel is good enough for you and it's cheaper. - I suggest in the future, this hotel has luggage sending service since almost all the hotels in Toyama have that service for all customers that will go for Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.

The best hotel I stay during my trip”
I stay only 1 night in Toyama, since I need place to sleep after Tateyama Kurobe alpine road trip that take whole day and need to take a bus to Shirakawago in the morning from the station. The place is so near with Toyama station. You can either walk 10min slowly or take the trem from station. But I reccomend to walk instead since it's near. We take quad type room for 3 person so there is extra bunk bed. The place is also clean and the only inside bathroom with bathtub facilty, so it help a lot since nothing beat warm bathtub after a cold trip to Alpine road that rain all day during my visit. And we also get breakfast in the morning. I seldom interact with the front staff, Food was okay. I reccomend this place for people that need to early start for Alpine road (if taking from Toyama and end in Nagano) or had done it on the reverse (start from Nagano end on Toyama).

I enjoyed my stay in Hotel Prime Toyama very much. The daily free breakfast is delicious and nutrition. The hotel is well located just few minutes walk to the train station. This makes the trip to Japan Alpine Route very convenient.

When we arrived at the reception counter, we're greeted warmly by the hotel staff. They are not just well trained but also serving customers with all their heart. The room is very nice and comfortable. Wifi is fast and stable. Breakfast is simple but delicious. We're really happy with our choice of hotel. I will definitely stay here if I visit Toyama again.

Had a comfortable 3-night stay here. The hotel is just a short walk from JR Toyama station. Room is clean and of good size. I love to soak in the bathtub every night, especially after returning from the Tateyama Alpine Route. It helps to relax my tired muscles. The slippers provided is not the disposable kind so I bought a pair from a 100yen shop for hygiene purposes. Didn't get to try their free breakfast so can't comment, but it looks simple and good.

Better than expected”
Spent 2 nights for Alpen Kurobe Route.. Perfect location, close with the toyama station n toyama dentetsu station, convenience store nearby, yoshinoya near apa hotel around. Bed was fine, n fitted enough for the three of us (one 4y old boy). Made some good correspondence via email with the hotel before our stay. Breakfast was good n enough for us. Not a luxury ones, but accomodated us well.

Booked triple room for three persons as there are not many hotels could offer. Breakfast was great. Hotel is very near to Toyama station and another train station for Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route.

Situated near by toyama station. Just the room space really limited. I have a four person room for three of us as three person room fully book because they are same size. We are unable to open all of our luggage together. However they did provide breakfast which i think quite delicious. Nearby hotel there is some convenient shop which i think is quite good for traveller. Overall is good just the room is small.

Best thing is that the hotel is near from Toyama station. So we can easy to access Tateyama, Himi, and Kanazawa. The room is quite simple but the price is resonable. The breakfast menu was same everyday while we stay but we enjoyed asian style food each morning.
