The place was right in the middle of everything and was easily accessible. The room was clean, big, and comfortable to stay in. The staff were great, helpful, and friendly. We will definitely check-in here again when we return to Madrid!

Great and professional staff”
The hotel itself is in a great location near metros and walking distance from major sites such as the museums. The room itself was clean, while the bathroom counter could use a little more space but it's nothing major. The major props though, go to the hotel reception staff. The two staff members (I forgot to ask for their names) were very professional and quick in giving solutions. I booked double bed instead of twin bed rooms, and the first staff when we first checked in managed to switch us over to the twin bed rooms immediately, even taking care of luggages for us by the time we actually check in. Super quick and efficient turnaround from both of them! Thank you so much. I would recommend this hotel just for the staff members who are helpful, professional and efficient.

A great location in the heart of Madrid! Can get crowded right outside the front entrance during evenings with throngs of tourists and locals eager for a night out. Facilities are meager and spartan, but alright if all you need is a base for exploring Madrid and the nearby cities. Staff is very helpful and seem to actually care about the safety and security of guests.

Overnight in Madrid”
Travelling from Australia to the Canary Islands we decided to overnight in Madrid to see a performance of The Lion King. We therefore needed an hotel close to the Gran Via at a reasonable price and selected the Hotel Quatro Puerta del Sol based on its Agoda reviews. We were not disappointed - the hotel is ideally placed to visit Madrid, is clean and the staff very helpful and courteous. The room we were given on the top floor of the hotel had a large external terrace with views out over the city, a table, chairs and a sunlounger. The bedroom itself was well equipped, very clean, and reasonably large by Madrid inner city standards and the bathroom was equally good. The only negative was that the TV was mounted on a wall at the side of the bed and was difficult to watch from the twin beds. The biggest surprise was a very impressive breakfast in the hotel the following morning. A self service buffet with fresh fruits, breads of varying types, numerous different cereals, meats, cheeses etc - all for the price of €7 per person. Having now found this very centrally located hotel we shall definitely be staying at the Hotel Quatro Puerta del Sol again on our next visit to Madrid.

An ideally located hotel at the centre of historic Madrid, in a quiet street, at a walking distance from both the Prado Museum and the Royal Palace, and much closer to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, among others. Helpful and efficient staff. Comfortable room with air conditioned, wifi and flat screen TV. Very good breakfast buffet. Excellent value for money. An excellent choice for a discovery of Madrid.

Stay here for 4 nights, the location is very good, 1 mins to Sevilla metro station, 5 mins Puerta Del Sol, 10 mins to Plaza Mayor, Callao, Gran via shopping area, many Tapas n restaurants nearby, Carrefour express is 5 mins away. Standard rooms was comfort, compact and just enough spaces for couples, washroom was spacious, but shower not strong enough. Bed a bit small for 2 persons, but have comfortable sleep. Breakfast was good, scramble eggs are nice, good coffee served. Must try the San Gines chocolate which is about 10 mins walking distance from hotel. 5 mins to Santa Ana area which can get a lot foods at night. The staff is good in giving instruction for attractions and information. Overall is a good stay. Recommended for its strategic location.

The hotel was near to Sevilla metro station and just a block or so away from Puerta del Sol, so that was great. I was also given a great room on the top floor with a terrace. And the staff was friendly and very attentive to your needs.
