Foreigners wash yourself before bathing like your going into heart surgery. Great hotel but since foreigners need to wash such more better better entering public bath. Cmon people be like the Japanese. Clean your bumps and bits like you never have before. Great hotel lovely bathhouse. Restaurants little under staffed. Massive breakfast hall. Hotel room with Breathtaking view”
Our Hotel room on the 10th floor has awesome and panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean . Very spacious and well equipped room with facilities. The breakfast has wide selection and ample space to cater the crowd. Free carpark provided and Shuttle bus provided to the train station which is a plus point. Indoor and outdoor Onsen is well maintain and very clean . Enjoyed staying here and wished to have been longer .

Nice Resort”
The resort is great with the nice sea view. Everything the hotel is great. But only i have being charge extra with the kids breakfast. During the check- in the counter staff told me breakfast for extra kids is half price . Then during check out i was charges for double fare. i try explain during the check out counter staff. But they insist the fare was charges correctly.

The hotel staff were friendly and the facilities were a bit old but good. The hot spring was also excellent and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The location of the hotel is a little out of the way, but you can only look at the sea. That was enough.

Lovely hotel”
The hotel is in a beautiful spot on a high headland. Staff are very good. Food was acceptable. A more regular shuttle bus would be useful as the bus was always full. I had to cut short my stay because of a typhoon but the hotel refused to refund one night accommodation which was disappointing.

Location is a bit far, but it's easily accessible if you got a car. Car Park is a little bit full, maybe it's in the weekend, so need to walk down the slope to pick the car.

Room size is big and comfortable comparing other japan hotel, but it’s very dusty. Public bath is good for relaxing, good for short stay.

A concrete tower built on a cliff over the sea far away from Beppu city. ”
Probably mainly catering for groups. Don't expect all staff members to speak English (especially not the men, and there are mostly men).. There are spacious rooms with sea view. Onsen facilities are good, the sea can't be accessed. Pool was being maintained/renovated while we were there. Staff should tell you that, depending on number of guests, you need to reserve seats for the nice Japanese in-house restaurant, which they didn't. We ended up disappointed as there were no seats and went to the anonymous and rather expensife buffet dinner in a non-descript buffet room with self-service. Only later, we discovered the very nice cosy Japanese bar on the bottom flior (NOT the one near the reception area with gloomy light!) with great, friendly staff and good food.-

My boss was stay for 2 night. There are 4 single beds at the room and he already ask the staff to take it out but there is no action from the staff.
