The staff are all nice and helpful and the location is very good. Lots of restaurants to choose from. We went to an Italian restaurant just outside the hotel. They even upgraded our room to see Mount Fuji for our room view but unfortunately it was cloudy and we didn’t reLly see it but overall our stay was nice.

A fine business hotel in Gotenba”
Overall, our stay was fine and I have no complaints. One thing travelers should know is that there are two Hotel Route Inns in Gotenba: Hotel Route Inn Gotenba Eki-Minami is a 5 minute walk from Gotemba Station, while this hotel (Hotel Route Inn Gotenba) is actually a 20-25 minute walk from Gotemba Station. It is a Business Hotel, which tends to cater more to single male Japanese travelers. It is a clean, safe and efficient hotel. There were two public baths; however, because of my very limited command of Japanese, I was never able to truly ascertain if/when they would be open for women. However, the tub in my room was deep enough to allow for a mini-onsen experience. Thank you for a nice stay.

the hotel itself is rather old, small rooms with very limited furnishing in the room. clean though and has a small manmade indoor 'hot spring', which is more like a public bath. it is located next to 'little america' in gotemba with some restaurants so you won't have to worry about food. transport is less convenient as it takes 10-15 mins drive to town or the train station (gotemba train station) or the gotemba interchange (gotemba-tomei ic) which has shuttle buses from and to places like gotemba premium outlets and kogen / tokinosumika resort. one of the managers speaks mandarin, so it's easier for the chinese-speaking tourists.

The location of the hotel is far out of the the center of Gotemba in a commercial zone. the hotel is old and is not conveniant. de price in relation to location and quality of the room is, even for japan, far too high.

A bite far from teh train station, this said, taxi where very helpfull and fare not to high, about 1,000 Yen. View on Mount Fuji would have been superb but it was covered with clouds. Not far from Factory outlet (excellent) and still ok for down town. It can be a good place for business traveller or people that want to travel to Fuji but dont want to be to far from Train station.

Just an "ok" hotel. The facilities is dated and smelled old when I arrived. Staff is friendly. There is a Denny's right next to the hotel. Also, you're walking distance to alot of restaurants as well.
