located just down the street from toyama station, it's very easy to find. the breakfast is a really good buffet with plenty of japanese and western food options, so you can get rice with miso soup and salmon, or eggs and sausage. the rooms are very small compared to western expectations, but very standard for japanese hotels of this type.

Clean room and near to train station, but room is ”
The hotel room is clean but a little bit old, the room is quite small. This is near to Toyama station and easy to access. It doesn't have free carpark and we need to pay yen per day for parking in the carpark nearby. Service is nice but the reception lady doesn't know much English.

Although the single room is a little small without a proper closet, it is manageable if you do not have lots of luggage. Signage is not prominent as the main lobby of the hotel is on the 2nd floor and the entrance on the ground floor is just a door opening. But overall, I felt safe and walking around for a place to eat is not a problem as they are many eateries nearby. The JR train station and the station for the Dentetsu trains to Kurobe Gorge and Tateyama Kurobe Alphine Route are about 5 mins walk away.

The hotel is very close to both subway & JR station, and can be found easily (5mins walk. Staffs are friendly and can communicate in English. Breakfast buffet is good with various choices and good value for money. Room is quite small but it is good enough.

A short 10min walk from the station - good base for the Alpine route. Staff does not really speak English. Room is clean and small (but ok for Japanese standards). Fridge was not working though

When I booked the room rate was KRW 130,075 (2/16). Then I was paid KRW 140,123 with credit card (4/11). It was strange that I checked my booking details on Agoda so it was also KRW 140,123. The exchange rate has not changed greatly at that times, so I could not understand it. When I arrived at the hotel, they offered breakfast which I did not apply. Probably it seemed to include breakfast charges. It was an unexpected breakfast, but it was good to have a good meal.

Great location, old tired building”
We stayed here prior to starting the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. It was walkable from the train station and easy to find. Unfortunately the building is very old and unrenovated since the 70s. Our bedside table was taped up and had an AM/FM dial tuner I haven't seen for decades. Bathroom was extremely small with yellowed plastic and mold/mildew in the caulk and wall stickers. Furniture and carpet was tired and ratty. This was the first place that didn't instruct shoes off at the door. The staff were extremely friendly; they aren't at fault for the condition of the building. However in terms of value, this was the most expensive stay for $/night during our 2 weeks touring Japan but the worst in comfort and amenities compared to other budget/hostel accommodation.

The hotel location is right in the middle of restaurants and izakaya area. In the morning, the hotel provides free breakfast which has great variety of food. The only thing I don't like was there's only one elevator and sometimes you have to wait for a while.

Good Location, Mildew in Bathroom”
Convenient location easy walk from station. Cleaning is well below standard for Japanese hotels. Bath smelled of mildew and carpets were in serious need of cleaning. Furniture in room sadly in need of a new coat of paint. Good breakfast. Definitely not worth the money.
