                  Close to Tsukuba city center”

                  Location and Japanese-feeling (atmosphere)

                  Nov 2015. 2-people Japanese style room (futons). 10 to 15 minute walk from 'Tsukuba City Center (shopping complex), Narita to Tsukuba bus stop, and Tsukuba Express train station (Tsukuba station)'. Hotel and room was clean. Carpet and building are rather old. Can hear traffic from Nishi Oodori (street), but is not too noisy. Everything works (lights / plumbing). Breakfast is simple - miso soup, rice and toppings. Family run hotel so staff is friendly and accomodating.

                  ホテル山久に宿泊して”

                  静か、駅に近い、少し歩けば飲食店も色々ある

                  筑波大学が開設された頃に営業を始められたようで、2階建ての学生時代に生活した寮を彷彿させる古い建物であった。料金が安いので部屋の内容を心配したが、2階部分が宿泊所の最近では珍しい和室のホテルであった。部屋は広いし浴室の湯量もバスタブ（古いが）も問題はなかった。ウオッシュレット完備の洋風ビジネスホテルを望む人へは勧められないが、個人の生活リズムで宿泊したい人ならば問題のないホテルと思う。車で来た場合は、駐車場もあり便利ではあるが、大きな通りに直接面していない点は、初めての訪問者は狭い道路にナビがあっても戸惑うであろう。
