It was my third visit using select inn chain. It was pleased to have a good conversation with reception and satisfied on recommendation. It is so close to railway station. I would love to enjoy next visit.

very cheap and underrated hotel”
Stay was excellent. quite near convenience store. Very quiet at night. Cons only would be the size of the toilet and the tub. Breakfast was home cooked food which is great.

The hotel is very near to Shimada station. Everything is great in this hotel. They even serve Japanese breakfast in the morning. Nothing fancy but good enough. The only cons is that the staffs do not speak fluent English. But you are not there to mix with them. Just to have a place to stay. Highly recommended! p/s: The town is quiet. Pay a visit to their local big supermarket nearby if time allows.

Ok for a night, but not more../”
I don’t like to give bad reviews, but this hotel has definitely seen better times, but probably back in 1987. Not much has really changed since those days though. The location is actually nice, just a few minutes from the train station in the center of town. But it needs a serious cleaning and renovating. It reminded me a lot about hotels I’ve stayed in Ukraine, Kazakhstan or Georgia, but not about Japan. Maybe for the price of ¥3600 (incl. and ok breakfast) I couldn’t expect much, but I stayed in better hotels, in Japan, for less money and it wasn’t worth it the price.

Quite near to jr station, got a microwave at the second floor common area. If u want to eat something near the hotel, it is quite hard. Most of the restaurent were japanese tradtional style bar.

Bad smell, otherwise okay”
Well, we had to stay in a smoker's room though we booked a non-smoking-room and the smell was bad. Except for that, this is an okay hotel, lower class, acceptable.

滞在してなく直前にキャンセルさせていただいたのは、仕事開始前に体温を計測したら37.5℃の熱があったため急遽仕事をせずに帰宅に切り替えたためです。その時対応していただいたサトウ様には感謝してもしきれません。次回また近いうちに（感染してなければ)使用させていただきたいと思っております。

お世話になりました。島田の駅から近く、レンタルサイクル(2時間まで無料)が3台あります。一番良かったのはYouTubeがテレビで無料で見ることができたことです。私はテレビをあまり見ないので、YouTubeが大きな画面で無料で見えたのは本当によかったです。

大井川鐵道の蒸気機関車への乗車の為に関西圏より小学校低学年と年少幼稚園児を連れてのツインルームにて3人でお世話になりました。館内、室内は大変清潔感もあり、無料Wi-Fi、ネット通信環境、テレビもAbema、YouTube等が無料閲覧で小さな子供もアニメ等が常時見れて大満足でした。翌朝モーニングもご飯、お味噌汁、小鉢類等もあり、朝カレー(中辛？)を食べた事のない子供達もお代わりする程の大変美味しく頂けました。また次回も利用させて頂きたいと思います。 宿泊者もわがまま改善希望点…●浴槽内の壁の再塗装、水道蛇口周りのパッキン損傷、汚れ除去●ハイルーフ車客は建物敷地内駐車は不可なので外部民間駐車場提携する等、代金半額や全額負担のサービス等●食堂内のクロワッサンのトースター最低分数の記載(2回共に黒焦げにしてしまった)●部屋が5階だったのですが窓ガラスが腰高窓で低く、鍵の位置も低く、入室後直ぐに荷物整理をしていて子供達がベッドに乗って遊びカーテン内側で窓ガラスを触っていてゾッとしました。子供連れの際のチェックイン時に声掛け等、部屋ドア、照明スイッチ付近に注意分を掲示しても良いかと思います。また改善に伴い少々の料金は上げても良いと思います。
