Yes Sogo has a certain reputation, but liked location and it was clean”
Sogo Dau is ideally positioned next to Dau bus station and is great if you have an early flight from Clark. Look on Google maps for the exact location of the "lounge" where you wait for the 100p Jeepney to Clark. Sogo is full couples, Checkin was made difficult as the receptionist could not understand my English (everyone else can). She was a bit annoying but I received my keycard and a friendly cleaner showed me to my room. The room is a bit cell-like but the mattress was not plastic covered like in some Sogo hotels and it was clean, especially the bathroom. You get a toiletry kit and you have bought an overnight room if you buy from Agoda. The hotel is quiet and aircon good. You sleep well. Checkout is easy, although the security guard on my way to the bus station did not know I was coming. The price from Agoda was good for deluxe room. Convenient as well as so clean, so good

Value for Money- we spent 1200 pesos for this hotel and stayed there for 24 hours. The clock started from your time checkin. The rates are unbeatable. Unfortunately some negatives: The toilet was not working and the hotel did not manage to fix it within the 24 hours of our stay. The food we ordered for in-room dining was not cooked to the end, was not edable. And finally I got a call at 4:00am from the receptionist asking if I want to extend my stay, although not even 12 hours of my 24 hours booking had passed. I would still recommend the place for travellers since it's located just 2 walking minutes from the Dau bus hub where you also find a cheap shuttle service (100PHP/person) to the Clark airport. Numerous options like supermarket and fast food restaurants are very close.

Great location”
My 2nd visit to the hotel as am travelling to baguio the next day. Good value for money and furthermore near to dau terminal which ls easy excess from airport via jeepney which cost only 50 peso. This time I stay in executive room which is spacious and quite comfortable. Sadly wifi not able to access. There stated as 'free wifi'. Called reception for 3 times but still not able to access.. hope they could improve on it.

Not expensive but small rooms”
I went to Angles by bus and Sogo is the first hotel which I found near the bus terminal. The staffs were very kind and I'm really thankful of them. I could use Wifi in my room so it was very easy to make plans. But it's a little far from GoGoBar. It was good to select how long I could stay.

Poor wifi connectivity”
My 3rd visit to the hotel after arriving from baguio before my next day flight to singapore. This time I stay in suite room which I am expecting better. Sadly the wifi is still not able to access where I need to go to the lobby just to connect to the wifi.. I called reception twice they infd they will get someone to rectify the problem. About 3 hours later still to no avail. I went to the lobby to approach the staff and was told that there isn't any wifi connectivity along the drive lane where my room is. Have the staff had told me earlirt on the phone, I would not have gone thru all the trouble calling the staff for this nonsense. If thats the case why indicate there as 'free wifi'. I will still come back to this hotel for convenient sake but will not stay at executive or suite whichever along the drive lane. I will just stay at premium room which is the cheapest and I stayed there during my first visit. The wifi connectivity there with better network. I do hope the hotel there could work on it with regards to wifi. The front desk have more room for improvement.

Hotel is near in the mall and food streets.. All staff are friendly and very helpful. Hotel is clean. Rooms are big, comfortable bed and secure, no bugs or mosquitoes.We did enjoyed our stay. . I suggest you guys to book in this hotel.

Easy Access to Public Transport to Manila”
Love the location as it is just beside the Dau Bus Terminal (since we plan to go to Manila by bus) and easy access to jeepneys/taxis as it is located along the main road. A short ride to SM Clark and a walking distance to many fast food outlets. Love the 24 hours check in/check out policy. Not that suitable for family thou' as this is kind of an "adult" hotel

Basic Hotel with Few Amenities, but clean”
we stayed here only one night on the way to boracay. this is a very basic hotel and for the price we really can't complain. very friendly staff upon arrival and a fast check in. rooms are very basic, with bed, small desk, old tv and nightstand. the mattress left a lot to be desired, but it was one night. overall clean, but basic. the hotel is near a busy road and with thin walls you hear just about everything going on. if you know the philippines, there are lots and lots of honking horns, so be prepared. i don't think traffic on the main road ever stopped. hotel does off fast room service for a number of different local and other dishes, but there is no restaurant onsite (not sure where the food comes from). they do also have a transport car for the airport if you let them know in advance. it will be cheaper than a normal cab fare.

Budget hotel mostly used for short stay for couple”
Budget hotel mostly used for short stay for couples!! Very very tiny room and very poor furniture! It felt more like a prison cell!! Very noisy but what can you expect from a place like that in Angeles!! Close to Dao Bus station Mac Donald's restaurant beside it with free WIFI the hotel doesn't give it for free!! It is just good for a very very very short stay!!

Small room but good value for money”
We only stayed for less than 12 hours and we found out that they charge for half day which was way cheaper than paying for 24 hours. Walking distance to bus terminal and 15 minutes away from Clark airport. The only draw back was that it was noisy; we could hear cars and honking since hotel is located along busy street.
