Room is just nice for 1 person as solo traveler, very clean and check in and check out very fast with the machine. First, you need to show your passport to the receptionist and they will give you a paper with QR code and you scan it at the machine and you will get the card. Very efficient. Location is the winner, very easy 5-10 mins walk from shinjuku station South Gate. Definitely a gem.

For the price, the convenience was unbeatable. A station within walking distance and a hidden entrance to the subway next door! Maps will not show it to you but it's helpful when it's raining. The area is also full of restaurants and conveniences. The staff was wonderful and the amenities are abundant. Well kept and clean hotel.

The location is convenient and their staffs are very helpful, you can get whatever supply you needed. Great place to stay. Only that if the cleaners would pay more attention resuming hotel guest's belongings after cleaning the room.

Love the location as it's within walking station from the Shinjuku Station (bus and train). Room is clean, staff are friendly and breakfast is delicious too. This is also one of the hotel drop off for the Airport Limousine Bus directly from Haneda Airport (please check the Airport Limousine Bus Website to confirm on the bus timetable/ availability).

Superb location & Value for money.”
Only 3-5 mins walk from Shinjuku Station. 3 different convenience stores within 300metres, famous restaurants like Shake Shack and Tim Ho Wan and shortcut access to takashimaya from the south terrace. All sorts of free amenities including even face mask or shaving cream all available in the lobby. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for rooms in Shinjuku.

Very clean but Comfort level slightly lower”
Cleanliness is top notch. However all the 4 pillow is flat causing neck strain. I would suggest the next bed refresh to get something slightly softer. Still, a good clean hotel with a superb location which i will come back again.

Very comfortable stay at Hotel Sun Route. The location was great - very close to the Shinjuku Station, and walking distance as well to the busy part of Shinjuku, but far enough that you can rest quietly at night. The rooms we stayed in (3 people) was big enough, especially for Tokyo standards. We enjoyed getting the toiletries and various tea / coffee from the lobby for daily use. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I’d recommend this place and would stay here again!

Top-notch”
This is a huge, busy hotel, but it still managed to feel calm and quiet in the room. The staff were efficient and pleasant. The place runs like clockwork. The room was decent sized and well laid out. I liked that the window could open, to let in fresh air. I also liked the generous amenities bar in the lobby, allowing guests to collect what they needed for their stay. Room and bathroom were clean, and they give you option on how you want your room to be attended, this was also handled very efficiently. It's close to the madness of Shinjuku station which is incredibly handy, and Yoyogi station, which is a lot easier to navigate! There are also loads of dining, shopping and convenience store options close by. The only downside was the small number of available laundry facilities, given what a big, busy hotel it is. They have those big combination washer/dryers and they take a long time to run a cycle (about 2.5 hrs to wash & dry a medium sized load). People tend to start a load and then go out, which causes a bit of wait time. You can monitor laundry facilities on you TV, which helps planning.

7min walk from Shinjuku station exits”
Location is awesome. 7min walk to get to Shinjuku trains. 5min walk to the airport limousine bus going back to Narita airport. Room is bigger than other hotels in Japan. There are coin laundry machines and microwaves on certain floors. You get your own amenities at the lobby. Sleepwear is provided. We got good rates for this hotel so we really see the value for money. Caution: if it's your first time in Tokyo, be warned about the size and complexity of Shinjuku station. There are plenty of train and subway lines that converge in Shinjuku with several different exits. It's easy to get lost just trying to find an exit.

Location is very close to Shinjuku station. Check in and check out was contactless, efficient, and fast. Wished all hotels can do what they do! There was a toiletries station where you can help yourself to whatever you need. The standards and covid protocols at this hotel is what all hotels should strive to be like. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Good access to airport bus; right infront of the hotel. 5 min walk to train station. Room is small, cant widely open your lugages. But breakfast is great and Locations near shopping malls; Lumine, Takashimaya, etc. Good choice for business traveller and family. Stay hear multiple times because it is safe hotel and clean!

I highly recommend this hotel if you would like to stay 3 minutes walk from Shinjuku station, it helps getting around central of Tokyo really convenient. The hotel also provides really great amenities and facilities like washing machines if you would like to do your laundry especially if you stay really long in Japan.
