Architectural time capsule!”
Retained in immaculate, but tired, original condition Hotel Tokoen offers travellers the opportunity to step back in time. It's like nothing I've ever seen, a true faded glory,Architect, Kiyonori Kikutake's 1964 design is absolutely intact ...right down to the light fittings, joinery and (sometimes threadbare, but freshly vacuumed) carpets. The hotel is impeccably clean, but no money has been spend on its upkeep - except perhaps on fresh tatami mats, WC's and shower fittings. Right on the beachfront it clearly draws mainly local tourists, but for western travellers interested in mid-Century design it's a MUST-SEE. The rooms are huge (ours faced the ocean and had a screened entry and beachfront vestibule in addition to the large room) and the bathrooms are big and well-fitted. Common spaces are wonderfully tatty, I was told the onsen was fantastic...you can even go up to the rooftop for an amazing view. PLEASE STAY IN THIS FADED BEAUTY AND KEEP HER ALIVE FOR GENERATIONS TO COME!

立地は大変よく海水浴場に近く夏の子供連れ家族には向いていると思います。近くにコンビニ、スーパー、ドラッグストアもあり困ることは少ないと思います。 気になる点がいくつかありました。 二泊したのですが、クリーニング途中で部屋の鍵が開いたまま誰もいない状態になっていました。貴重品は金庫の中に入れているとはいえ他人が入ることができる状態になっていたことにとても気持ちが悪く、クリーンキーパーの方も申し訳なさそうにお詫びいただきましたがいかがなものかと思いました。部屋は和洋の部屋で通常の二部屋分の大きさがありオーシャンビューで良かったのですが、洋室の床が綺麗とは言えない状態でした。椅子にある座布団もシミがあり不衛生な感じでした。せっかくのいい部屋なのに勿体ないですね。それと海水浴に行った後の水着を干す場所が部屋にあれば良かったのですが、ベランダと窓はあるものの干せる状況ではなかったのがとても残念でした。 他には、この度、二泊したのですがお風呂の場所は日替りで男と女の交換はあっても良かったんじゃないのかなって思います。大きな露天風呂に入りたかったですね。女性客を大切にすればリピートもありそうですからね。悔しいので皮肉ってみました。しかし、また泊まりたいと考えております。その時、どれかでも改善させていれば嬉しく思います。お世話になりました。

家族式經營的小旅館，房間乾淨，面向庭園，但房間裡沒有淋浴間，必需到大浴塲洗澡，有點不方便。我們抵達旅館時已經是晚上八時多，職員並沒有協助我們拿行李，我們帶著孩子，有點狼狽。早餐不錯，我認為性價比一般，這個價錢，有其他選擇。

온천 물은 좋았습니다. 특히 노천탕 좋았어요 객실은 넓고 좋았으나 서비스가 엉망이네요... 그 전 료칸들의 서비스와 많이 비교되네요 특히 조식은 정말... 먹을게 없었네요 참고하세요.

친절하고 즐거웠던 여행 , 온천으로 힐링!”
거리는 요나고 역에서 버스로 30분 정도의 거리. 숙소 주변에 음식점은 거의 없던듯 함. 렌트를 하지않는경우에는 주변에서 식당 찾기가 좀 어려움. 요나고 역이나 숙소로 돌아오기전에 식사 해결하고 들어옴. 주변에 유흥업소가 많아서 약간 당황하긴 했는데 딱히 문제가 있던 부분은 아니였고 저녁엔 온천에서 시간을 보내며 온천물도 굉장히 좋았음. 남녀탕이 매일 바뀌어 새로운 느낌 . 조식도 퀄리티가 좋았고 우선 직원분들이 매우 친절함. 한국말 하시는분도 계심. 일본스타일 룸으로 예약하였고 둘이서 지내기에 큰 방이였음. 호텔 정원도 예쁘고 재방문의사 있음.

我沒有用餐，因為時間不夠，但飯店人員很熱心一直介紹附近美食，因為我們是自駕遊，不然其實交通不怎麼方便，晚上有電影院放映，飯店本身也有賣手信的地方，設備總之很齊全，房間很大很舒服。
