Great facility and great location”
The hotel is old, but the facilities are very modern. The rooms are HUGE and clean. I recommend getting the dinner, but you may end up not being able to eat breakfast haha. The only recommendation that I would give the hotel is to offer a shuttle bus service to one of the two main JR lines so we don't have to take a long bus ride to the station/hotel. There is a shuttle service, but it only runs in summer and not to Aomori station.

Biggest onsen that I have been! ”
We love the onsen, it was very big and there was a outdoor one too. The food was average only but they gave a lot of it.

During pandemic it was a very quiet place”
It's very close to the Towadaso Lake and the rooms are very big and having an onsen then sleeping on a puffy futon is ideal after doing some hiking :D

Very large rooms”
The hotel has very large rooms and the food is good as well, but too much sweet in some items.

Ryokan room experience for hotel price”
Previous reviews have been too negative! This hotel offered a traditonal Japanese ryokan-like room experience without the expensive price of a ryokan (¥10,000 1 night w/out board). Well-furnished with ornate furniture and full access to the in-house onsen. The hotel public spaces were large, elegant and beautiful. We visited during Lake Towada's Winter festival, and the hotel provided guests a free shuttle bus service to and from the festival site fantastic! Just keep in mind that there is a ¥400 onsen tax that must be paid upon check out, in addition to what you prepaid on Agoda.

Bit shabby and tired - local area sadly run down”
I thought I'd ordered the night with the food option from booking on this site... but apparently not!!! So therefore the price paid for room only was NOT worth it. It was an OK stay and I'm glad we went but I would not stay there again and would not recommend it to you.

maybe best budget friendly hotel in Towadako”
if u coming to see the Towadako Winter Festival, just like me and my friends, better check this hotel out. at some period during the festival, hotel provide free shuttle to guest from and to Hachinohe Station. its not a short journey so really worth the price when we booked the hotel. the room i booked is kinda like the ryokan one so expect to sleep with futon or tatami style there and experience this Japanese culture style. and since they have onsen, do not forget to enjoy it also. the staff is helpful and patient ones, and its a quite big hotel. they also provide bus to the festival return trip. the price is not that cheap but still cheap comparing other hotels at Towadako area so i think this hotel is really recommended.

Exceptional”
the room is neat and spacious, better than how I expected. The amenities are also great, the onsen is amazing. Unfortunately, The meals are not up to the standard, its breakfast is not exactly the 4 star hotel level. Overall, I still recommend this hotel if you enjoy traditional Japanese style rooms.

Excellent”
The only shortage is that the facilities are old. Advice the hot spring area maybe could be more clean. We love the room which is very big and historic. And the hotel staff are very nice and cute. We will consider to stay here again.

Nice scenic view with full of facilities !”
I was there in Feb 2018. The view around the hotel was superb especially the snow festival that annually be held on Feb. The location is really far from the cities but the hotel has a shuttle bus to transport the guests from/to Hachinohe Train Station daily. (I love it)

Decent Option”
Location is not too bad, several minutes walk from lake towada (the main attratction) itself, and if you are going in winter, they provide a shuttle service to the winter festival, which is definitely worth catching. Good facilities, large onsen, and shops and meals. Only thing was the staff for some reason weren't very friendly, they did not have the trademark Japanese hospitality.

Lake Towada ”
U have to pay for tax Onsen when you check out not included in your accommodation . No restaurants open at 5 pm and breakfast at 9-10 am . You either have to eat at the hotel or bring your own meals . The resort is super huge loads of tourist bus . And huge souvenir store . Rooms are huge and u have bathroom in the room if u do not wish to bathe at the Onsen area .
