Leisure”

I am on a world cruise, but did not have time to get full Chinese visa before leaving England. So advised by cruise ship that I may not be allowed to embark without one.. Therefore decided to book hotel in Kagoshima and return on arrival in Hong Kong. Booked hotel Union due to being near to Chou station for easy access to airport for flight to Hong Kong. Was so pleased I did because it was easy access to city tour bus and trams. It was a lovely friendly hotel. Loved the Japanese breakfast and croissants also available. Exceptionally clean and very friendly staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. Will certainly recommend. Thank you.

Nothing fancy, but great value”

The hotel is old-ish, the rooms are small-ish, and the place is between a pachinco parlor and a 7-eleven (not necessarily a bad thing). On the other hand, the price is right, the rooms are clean, you are a 7 min walk to Kagoshima station, and the free breakfast buffet is really good.

The hotel is 5~10mins walk from JR station, the tram stop and AMU Plaze Kagoshima shopping center. The room is clean. The breakfast provide is typical Japanese breakfast.

Near the station but very quiet ”

The location of this hotel was perfect as it was so close to the station where there are so many food outlets and stores. The style was old fashioned with low doors and ceilings but it was clean.

The room was very quiet and as it was a semi double we were very surprised to have lots of space. We liked the breakfast room with its different seating areas. We found the breakfast varied enough to suit Western and Japanese tastes. The staff spoke almost no English but managed to be friendly and helpful nonetheless.

この値段で朝食付きというのがありがたい。 廊下に漫画コーナーがあって自由に読めるのがユニーク。 読む時間は無かったけど。 壁・天井・エアコンが埃だらけで掃除が行き届いていない。 値段からすれば頑張っているのかもしれないけど、タバコの臭いもひどい。 あと、シャワーの湯量がしょぼすぎ。 一泊しかしてないのに文句言ってすみません。
