"I booked 11 hotels through agoda. for our 3 weeks vacation (Philippines, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur) and this lovely hotel stands out. The only regret- was we missed the cultural show; cause we checked in late. The hospitality; food and location is excellent. The hotel made efforts to put up my long name in front of the hotel to welcome us and the genuine hospitality of the Ifugaos serving welcome drinks and breakfast is awesome. I booked 3 rooms and 2 rooms were connected which is perfect. The prompt service and natural airconditioning really adds up. The mattress; water; gift shop; lobby and the surrounding area makes Banaue hotel an excellent place to stay while visiting the Banaue Rice Terraces."

"Situated in the middle of the long hilly street that is Banaue it's a good base. The ground floor level is reception, restaurant and travel agent. The place is lovely and clean the staff who I think are mostly family are helpful and speak good English. The bedroom is clean and a good size we had a double with bathroom, the shower was hot and had good water pressure. The food in the restaurant is very good value, tasty, portion size and cooked to order. My only comment is we booked a trip to see all the rice terraces which we knew would be expensive but the trip lasted 5hrs and cost nearly 4000pesos we should have done more homework and haggled more, our fault."

"Staying overnight on feb 6-7, 2016 at banaue homestay was the excellent choice. Ms. Beatrize, the manager, was very warm, friendly and gracious- we could't ask for a better hostess. The staffs, rebecca and ruby were also very friendly. The rooms we rented (1 with cr and a regular room) was very clean and the beddings were so comfortable that we had a restful sleep after our very tedious but amazing batad trek. Plus the location is a good distance from the town proper so the place had a relaxed and private atmosphere. Added bonus is that banaue homestay has an amazing view of the rice terraces. The breakfast menu was very filling and delicious, especially the longganisa. i was both amazed by the place and charmed by our accomation. We will definitely return to banaue and stay at banaue homestay!:-) The only downside with our trip was that we were not able to view the rice terraces at banaue town because of the fog covering the mountains. Well, a reason to return again to this amazing place:-)"

"Grace is the nicest host you will ever encounter and her accommodations offer the best view and the best access to the Batad Rice terraces. I truly cannot say enough good things about a stay here. Her brother (Scott) is a wonderful guide into the terraces and Grace is also a fabulous cook! We were sorry to leave."

"We arrived around 6:30am in the morning and we had a very good welcome. The place is attached to Ramon’s Homestay and Ramon came to greet us. The room was ready very quickly and had a wide view over the rice terraces. The staff was helpful and arranged for a guided tour on the day in Batad and the following day to Banaue and Hapao. Food selection is good, amazing pancakes! In the evening, there was a demo of rice pounding, a cultural show and story telling from Ramon around bonfire. We experienced a power cut in the village but the staff managed it well with candles and was still able to cook food and entertain. Highly recommended!"

"There is a great view of the rice terraces from several of the rooms, which made waking up very nice. You will wake up bright and early with the roosters started at 4am. They serve pretty good adobo and other Filipino dishes for reasonable prices. The drinks are very expensive, though (90PHP for a Coke), even compared to other Batad restaurants. The room did not have a fan and the mattress was very thin and hard, but it was clean. The owners' son is very friendly and helpful. He shared local myths about the waterfall, played the guitar and sang, and gave lots of helpful hints for trekking and travel. I met several other very friendly solo travelers here and overall really enjoyed the stay!"
