Great location, beautiful clean hotel with nice size rooms for family of three. Located one block from Millennium bridge so easy access to South Bank, Tate Modern Museum, the London Eye. St. Paul, and quick walk to Tower Bridge and London Tower. Close to Metro stations so able to quickly get to any other location. Some staff very friendly, helpful (ask for Christian ...

we have used this hotel a couple of times now for trips to ministry of sound london. the hotel is situated literally just round the corner form tower hill tube station so, is really easy to travel to & from by any means. i would shop around for good deals as hotel prices in london are outright absurd otherwise! 24 hour service is perfect, you can come & go a...

If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would! Absolutely perfect and made our weekend away brilliant. The room exceeded our expectations, very clean, modern and stylish. Touchscreen light and heating controls, with a walk in shower and toilet. Huge tv on the wall and to our surprise it had sky tv with sky sports and movies too which we didn’t expect. Staff were...

We booked this hotel through agoda as it had the best price. The hotel is in a great location as the tube stations are within walking distance , so this made it easier to get into the city centre . The hotel itself was spotless and the room we had was a good size and the bathroom was great . There was a good choice of items for breakfast. We would definitely book this ...

Travel around for work will set up a certain of benchmark regarding accommodations. I can imagine guests may find the room 'small' but to me it is quite subjective and so inappropriate to use this term. If you prefer a room with extra space and privacy from your colleague or friends, than this is not for you. This is the kind of hotel that reminds me of the b...

Needed one nights stay but wanted a clean central hotel that wouldn't break the bank. This hotel didn't disappoint. No windows but mirrors and art work on walls stop you feeling claustrophobic. I preferred not hearing any street noise anyway. Everything is compact, with shelves and stools flat stored against the walls, like some Japanese sleep station. They even chu...

We were pleasantly surprised by the Liverpool street branch of Tune hotels. It is a bit tricky to find at first, but once you know where Folgate street is it's very easy to find. It takes about five minutes to reach the hotel from the Liverpool street station, you take the upper exit (with the sushi cart outside) and turn left. The area seemed safe to us, Spitalfields ...

First time checking in hotel by yourself just using system and with little help of their ambassador. Room was clean, full entertainment controlled by ipad. Ipad also controls the temp, blind, and lighting. Big and comfy bed. Not to mention location is great. On a stone throw from Tower Hill Station and Tower of London. Walk 5 minutes and you already can find an array o...

London was the last leg of our UK tour. We didn't know what to expect when we booked Malmaison on Charterhouse but judging from the pictures, we thought it would be a nice end to our trip. When we got to the hotel and walked in, a cool vibe emanated from the hotel lobby - cool decor, nice funky house music playing at a comfortable volume. Check-in was fast and the r...

There are several bus-stops in the vicinity and one right outside the door so that makes getting around really convenient! Although the rooms were not the best, it was adequate for us. Just remember to not walk over from the train station if you have huge luggages. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful too!

Loved the hotel. Being from London, I knew that the location was central. However, the best things about the hotel (apart from location) was the wonderful and efficient service, the large room and the extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom was smallish but well designed with great water pressure. My minor two complaints would be that the shower wasn't 'european' (...

It was very pleasant. With the availability and accessibility of little extras, it made it a very comfortable stay. Air con wasn't functioing properly, but that could have been that we just didnt know how to use it. Didn't eat in the hotel, so hence for the low rating. Asked for a high room when booking to ensure less noise from the busy street outside, not much noise ...

I stayed at the Thistle Barbican for a week on business. I can honestly say that this was one of the best hotels in Londaon that I have stayed in. The rooms were very clean, the hotel facilities were superb (love the swimming pool, sauna, steam room etc). There are 3 tube stations withing easy reach (Old Street, Angel & Barbican), so travel in/out of the centre was eas...

On early arrival we were checked in immediately with a free upgrade as it was a special weekend for us! The room had a living area and a great Nespresso machine and Elemis products in the bathroom. Breakfast was a highlighted and included in Agoda's price... Which was great a they had good cooked breakfasts. We also were given vouchers for a free drink on our first e...

The hotel is conveniently located near the Tower Hill station, which is on the circle and district line. It is also walking distance to the London Tower and Tower Bridge. Other attractions like westminster and trafalgar square are a few stations or a bus ride away. The bathroom is a pleasant surprise with separate shower and bath and both very respectable sized. staff...

We chose the hotel because it was close to Cambridge railway station. Hotel looks very small and cosy. Food is good (and expensive). Building and rooms are fresh and clean. Guy at the reception gave us very good guidance for sightseeing and took care for our delivery to Heathrow airport as well.

I treated my boyfriend to an overnight stay and breakfast at the Curtain and it was the best stay we ever had! The room was beautiful - comfortable bed and amazing sauna/shower in the bathroom! Chocolate milk and cookies were left when we got back to the room after being out in Shoreditch. The breakfast on the roof top was the best meal we had ever had too and there wa...

The location is amazing. Central & near Lyceum Theatre, convent garden, bus station, train, restaurants and bars. The hotel is run by an Indian family so the Indian food at the hotel restaurant was nice. However the hotel is more like a hostel than a hotel. No lift so prepare to carry our own luggage upstairs. The Wifi is only at lounge area. Booked 3bed and its kinda ...

Travel from the Heathrow airport to the hotel takes about 1 hour by tube with 1 change. The hotel is just next to the tube station (Towerhill). When you get out from tube station, the hotel is very very easy to find. Hotel staff is very nice. I arrived London in the morning flight, arrived hotel about 10am. I and my friends were tired from travelling. We were not be ...

Stayed here for 2 nights with friends. We were upgraded upon arrival and the room was excellent. Large rooms for London. Didn’t eat or drink in hotel but staff at reception were very helpful. A short walk to Tower Hill underground station, tower bridge attractions and the shard etc

Situated a 5 minutes walk from the heart of the city this place is perfect for the quick functional overnight business stop. It doesn't offer much by way of facilities but the rooms are clean and offer good accommodation. The rooms do lack USB points etc for the business person but the WiFi works well. The best part about motel one is the price. Compared to some other ...

Booked this in a rush an hour before I flew to London, no reviews and only realised it was student accommodation when we got there.Saying that the accommodation is of decent quality and as always in London it was a place to sleep only.. Bed was only 3/4 size and no TV but apart from that it was fine. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Two minutes walk to The River Thames. The building has low profile design and architecture . Love it’s privacy and interior design. Staff is warm and friendly . Room service is on time with international menu. Afternoon tea and drink are good . We will definitely return to stay !

From our years of experience travelling and staying in luxury hotels all over the world, I have to say that the team at South Place Hotel definitely provides the best service we've experienced by far! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, Natalia, the front desk staff who checked us in was very friendly and made our 4-year old daughter feel like a star. When was t...

This is my first aparthotel while visiting London and it was a good stay. The building is located on Rosebery Avenue and has shops and supermarket nearby. The room was modern, most comfortable and clean. Everything looked new - bathroom and mini kitchenette worked fine. There is a bus stop just 2 mins walk from the building which takes you into central London, which ...
