Our stay was great. although we were surprised at the $35 per night parking fee(not valet, just for parking the car. Would stay here again.

The staff were polite and patient, checking in was a breeze. They do require a $100 deposit upon check-in so be aware. It seems that due to the low price and location there are alot of folks on hotel vouchers staying there. However, it is safe and clean on the inside. Great value if you just need a place to stay for the night in San Diego.

On check-in on a Sunday waited 20 minutes in line before being helped. First off hotel was paid for online and there was no mention of any additional payments required. We ended up here after being screwed over by another hotel. It was spur of the moment. HoJo didn't blink. They got us squared away quick and even had patience with us the next when it took us forever to leave. I would tell you...go stay at HoJo they are like family.

We'd stayed for around a week there. The car could be just parked outside the door. The breakfast has limited choice, and not tasty at all. Do not expect much on the breakfast. Concert was awesome and a big plus was walking by a million cars all trying to get out of parking lot. 1/4 mile to Arena. Room was very nice, could tell it was recently updated. A little pricy for parking and breakfast but location was worth it. Very quiet.

Cons though, over the years, the Dana has went from being the absolute best bang for your buck to joining the ranks of those charging for parking and other misc BS taxes. These are all additional fees for items that you were getting already. It moves the Dana from being in a class all it’s own to just another high end hotel charging you for everything they can.

Very good location and easy access to most attractions in San Diego. Staff very good and helpful especially front reception. One of the best so far I have encountered. Cleanliness top notch. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip.

We chose this resort after staying here 10 years ago. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice large rooms with plenty of space and actual glass and ceramic mugs to drink from rather than plastic or styrofoam! only no dishwashing liquid and brush for doing the washing up.
