We had an executive room, which gave us access to the executive lounge. This was fabulous value as free drinks and canapés are served from 6-9pm. Rofuto restaurant was very impressive and breakfast the next morning was one of the best we've had at any hotel. It's a bit of a walk to Birmingham New Street, 15 mins or so, but an über taxi cost less than £3.50. I'd put the...

Hotel is rather unusual being located in the middle of the Irish quarter of Birmingham. Although it is good for being only a 20 minute walk from New Street and the city centre so easily reachable, the walk is through a somewhat run down industrial areas so not recommended for single lone female or those of a sensitive disposition (get a taxi or the bus runs a couple of...

The hotel was right around the corner from Birmingham new street station and situated right in the middle of new street itself - it was amazing value allowing you to live right in the middle of Birmingham whether you are for business or for a good night out. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished, if slightly old but not damaged or negative to the experience in a...

The hotel, facilities, location are all great. It's a good 4* hotel, has some dated decor but you don't mind it as it fits with the hotel well. The views of the city from the 20th floor are brilliant too. The major let down was the staff. Front desk and housekeeping. We stayed for 2 nights, the housekeeping didn't change the bedsheets, or the complimentary water, tea a...

Took a coach from London airport and alighted at Birmingham New Street Station (about 3hrs). Walked less than 7mins (in fact u will see the hotel since when u're turning into the Station). Hotel is modern with basic facilities. Consider big for a standard room and the complimentary cookies are nice. Near to a convenience store (just cross the road) and very near to s...

This is a good hotel. Distance from New Street station is fantastic but its a shame the surrounding area is so grubby and run down. The welcome and checking-in was warm and professional. The room was very good, a little cold though. No matter what I tried to do with the thermostat, nothing seemed to change this. I did mention it when leaving the hotel. I should...

Amazing location. Only a short walk to the train station, cafes, shopping mall and restaurants. Hotel staff were very helpful with directions and they even let me check in a few hours early. The room was spacious, very clean and came with a full kitchen and supplies. I had a great stay there and would definitely go back if I'm ever in Birmingham again.

If I come to Birmingham again, this hotel is going to be the first one I will check for free rooms. I went there after studying the city map a bit, and because the price was reduced (around 80 EUR per night). I had a room with a king size bed (absolutely comfortable) on the 7th floor. This leads to my perhaps only point of criticism, namely I wasn't able to lower the ...

We used the hotel as a base from which to go for a meal, drinks and entertainment. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted - good value for money, clean, spacious and central location. The only downside about the location is the noise from outside in the early hours but this was to be expected and doesn't detract from the fact that if we were looking for a place to ...

Was very impressed with this ibis. It is modern, funky with great bar/cafe reception area. It is in a great location thought on weekends can be a little noisy if you room looks down into the Arcadian centre, walking distance to Bullring and New Street Station. Room was cosy with good facilities and very clean.

The location of this hotel is very great, just less than 5 minutes walking from Birmingham New Street Station, which is also very close to city centre. All staff were always happy to help. In-room facilities were fully provided. Restaurant and bar are good places to realx yourself. Not much menu selection, but food is quite good.

The room was as described on the website...ample size, comfortable and clean with a touch of luxury. The staff worked seamlessly behind the scenes to make our stay one to remember. The service was a bit slow at breakfast but eggs and porridge were cooked to perfection we had to ask twice for marmalade as this was not among the preserves on the table and ..oh dear the...

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in, it was extremely clean, the bedrooms were generously sized and the bathrooms were immaculate. The room was cleaned each morning with fresh towels and bedding, and the breakfasts were fantastic. All in all a great city break, brilliantly positioned in the centre of Brindley Place, meaning the city centre was walkable. ...

I booked and paid in full for a one night stay to attend my Daughter's graduation. On my way to Birmingham I received a phone call to say that the hotel through a "technical issue" was overbooked and they were moving me to an alternative outside the centre. This was not acceptable and I asked them if there was nothing in the centre of Birmingham he said no. To cut a lo...

If you don't go in expecting a Hilton, you won't be too disappointed. Breakfasts were excellent (sometimes crowded), rooms were clean and simple (bathrobes, toothbrushes, water, etc., you'll have to buy). Expect noisy parties and noisome beggars on Friday-Saturday night. Easy walking distance from Five Ways train station with luggage, or Central Birmingham New Street (...

this is a budget hotel do don't expect 5* ,excellent value for money,on site parking for £5 night through to 5.30 pm next day, location 2 minutes walk 02 acadamy 7 minute walk China town, ,20 minute walk broad st,15 minutes German markets train station ,I personal ly like to walk so excellent location..we had the twin room spacious with on suite bathroom, £33 for a nigh...

It's only 12 mins walk from the Birmingham New Street. Close to many tourist attractions. The room is bit and clean and supplied with free Wi-Fi, although the internet speed is very very low. Breakfast is included but too few choices. However, considered that the price is low, it is acceptable.

My two comments are We stayed two nights, breakfast was reasonable. Think it should include bacon and fried eggs but not scramble eggs everyday! Parking :£12 for 24 hours is a good deal, however if the parking ticket could allow unlimited in and out during such period would be perfect for hotel guests.

I had an excellent 1 week stay at Staybridge. Staff were helpful, friendly and always greeted guests with a smile. The daily breakfast bar which was included in the price was definitely a highlight, as were the room's cooking facilities. I would highly recommend Staybridge to business travellers, those on a city trip to Birmingham, or small families.

We stayed there for two nights mainly for vacation. Hotel was perfectly located. Tram station is behind the hotel and is so convenient to travel the New street station and city(5 mins), cost only 1 pound per person. There are few restaurants close by Dominos, Syrian, and one or two other fast food outlets. Room is spacious, toilets were clean with necessities. Breakfa...

Our rate through Agoda included a full English breakfast and they were really hefty! The spread was substiantial and satisfying. Location is a few minutes walk from Birmingham New Street Station - it was so near the taxi driver gave us instructions rather than drive us there and charge us. The young man at the reception desk was friendly and gave us tips on where to ...
