"Centrally located, very clean and tidy. Bed was comfy albeit small. Had no noise issues as I was put in a room with no windows. Better to check additional options when you book the room."

"Travelling into Moor Street on the chiltern line from Stratford upon Avon the location of this hotel is perfect being next door to the station. It’s also right next to Selfridges and the Bull ring and now this is connected to the new street Grand central shopping centre with loads of shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is roomy, friendly well equipped and great value. We had a family impromptu night there for heating and showers when our boiler broke down. Fun was had by all four of us staying in the hotel and enjoying Birmingham. The hotel staff were so helpful finding rooms next door to each other so we could be close to our children. Thank you Clayton hotel team for helping us when we needed it! : ) lovely."

"probably one of the highest building in the city centre, great view of birmingham. near bullring for shopping and have loads of food and restaurant nearby. 5mins walk from birmingham new street station. kitchen in the room and there are oranges and milk in the fridge, there is a capsule coffee machine as well. Some books and board games can be found near the sofa where you can read or play with your friends and family which is really nice."

"Very practical accommodation. The room was small but served its purpose. The shaver socket didn’t work but reception gave us an adapter plug so we could use a normal socket. Parking is £7 for a 24hr period. You can come and go in that time but you are not guaranteed a space on your return. We were there at the weekend so found parking on the street for free. Breakfast was excellent - a range of options buffet style so you could eat as much as you wanted. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. "

"This was my 2nd time stay and would return again if I were in Birmingham city. Closed to Bullring n walking distance to the Bullring market n Selridges. Full kitchen, great shower n bed. If u're driving u can park at Digbeth public parking for £5 for 24hrs. 2tix side by side. Just 5 min walking. "

"This hotel has good-sized rooms which are immaculate and very well equipped (room safe, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, tea and coffee making facilities, etc). The staff were excellent. check in and check out were very fast, and the staff were knowledgable about the area when we wanted advice. Location is excellent - a short walk from Bull Ring shopping, the coach station, train station, and there were always available taxis in a car park next door (to the left as you exit the hotel). Breahfast was good and comprehensive, also started at 6.30am, which suited us. Altogether a good place to stay, and I would chose this hotel again for a Birmingham city centre stay."
