Located just near the airport and city centre, the business hotel is clean and provides great hospitality. The rooms were comfortable (we were able to walk around even with our big luggage lying on the floor) and the washrooms were clean. The hotel staff were polite and helpful. I was impressed by the front desk staff who took extra effort to call the restaurants to ensure they were opened for business. I would give 6 stars to the front desk staff!

The Hotel is very nice with a very good location as well. I actually booked a room with a seaview on the upper floor, but as I checked in near the evening (after I finished my day tour), I was informed that the room with direct seaview in the upper floor is fully occupied, the reception staffs then give me a room with a side view of the sea and free vouchers for breakfast in the next morning as complimentary. Anyway, as I was only staying for one night, so I'm just okay with the deals. The Breakfast was really nice. The Hotel's location is superb, across the hotel was kinda a court with seaview, around the hotel there's lots of eateries from seafood to the famous black pork. Shopping street and Local Markets are just few mins walk. I'm likely to book this hotel again on my next visit to jeju. Notes : It's just I think since I already booked the hotel with advanced payment, I think whether or not I arrived late, there's should be at least a room based on my request been ready for the day because I had paid for it.

Wanted to stay at a quieter place away from Jeju city, but not too far away from the airport either. This is a new hotel, so gave it a try. Booked a deluxe room (double + single beds) with sea views. Room was located at a higher floor. It was spacious and the amenities were very new. Location wise, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel that goes to the city. However we didn't use it. Took a taxi whenever we wanted to go to the city, cost around SGD8-10 per trip. Most of the reception staff understood and spoke minimal English (only met 1 or 2 whom could speak really well). However, it would help if you could try to speak slower and do some research beforehand on the places that you wanted to visit. Despite the language barrier, they were still very helpful towards understanding my requests and helped to act as a translator between the taxi driver and us. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was an optional add-on. Quite expensive though the food quality was not bad. Limited dining options around the hotel. There is a fast food chain outlet (Lotteria) around 8mins walk away from the hotel. A fried chicken chain outlet (Nene chicken) just beside the hotel. A few convenience stores also located within walking distance from the hotel.

The hotel location is right in front of the ocean and the view is beautiful if you can get the ocean front rooms. It doesn’t necessary have to be on the front side of the building, the rooms on either side have a slightly oblique windows, so maybe some partial view of the ocean can be viewed. Ocean suites is located at the Jeju city, only about 5-10 minutes from the airport and have a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel staffs have good English, and very informative, especially about the transportation choices to some of the tourist attraction on the island. The manager gave us a good idea about taking the limousine bus from the airport to get to Seogwipo and Jungmun tourist complex. The room is large with separate bedroom and living room, the largest hotel room we had in Korea! The mattress is rather hard for us and one of the let down is the stains on the couch. One note when booking this hotel, only a few booking website that can be used in booking this hotel (we used agoda.com), and the official website of the hotel doesn’t have the best instructions in English about how to book. Maybe this can be an area of improvement. Overall, Jeju is a beautiful island and have many attractions that we haven’t seen yet, and possibly we will use Ocean Suites Hotel again when we comeback again.

I was offered a twin bed with bath tub instead of superior double that I booked but I’m totally fine with that. The staff are nice however, I wish they made some effort to learn and speak English especially that most visitors are foreigners who don’t speak Korean. The ambience is good and the check in and check out experience was smooth and easy. WiFi reception is very poor and it seems that all rooms share the same WiFi without security password. How I wish that more hospitality is shown by providing free coffee or tea although free bottled water is much appreciated. I love that they have water purifier per floor and I was able to save money buying bottled water each day. The location is very near the famous attractions and shops. ATMs and convenience stores are very accessible. I’d love to go back to Jeju and stay in this hotel once again..

This hotel was great, rooms were nice and spacious. Location is good for going to Hallasan hiking (take direct bus from hallasan general hospital nearby to erimok/yongsil entrance) and visiting the Lava tunnels and sunrise peak via public bus. There's a free shuttle provided by the hotel, but we missed it and too a cab cos 4500won for one way. The hotel staff are friendly and speak more chinese/mandrine than english, with my limited chinese, we managed to get to hotel staff to give us directions to the attractions and also to order in fried chicken =P. Definitely recommend this place.

Staffs here are very hospitable and they will help you with anything they can. One time, I had a terrible headache so I decided to go to the nearby drugstore but they couldn't understand us so I asked the front desk if they have a pain killer. and the lady front desk staff gave me her own pain killer. Breakfast buffet food quality was great and the spread was a reasonable. Location wise, restaurants and shops are about 5-10 minute walk. They have a coin laundry facility available and there's a television and a vending machine inside so you wouldn't get bored. Amazing hotel. Highly recommended!

This hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the Halla Hospital bus stop, which is convenient for anyone coming into the city by an intercity bus and for getting around the city. It costs a bit more than most budget hotels on the island, but the quality of the rooms definitely warrants it. They are very spacious, equipped with a television, (good) airconditioner, minifridge (not stocked), and are devoid of mold, most of which you wont find at another hotel in its price range. The staff also speaks very good English and are always happy to help!

Nice hotel. Comfy rooms. Very close to a nice walking street with many shops and restaurants. Lively neighbourhood. One and only downside: For whatever reason, that was never explained. We had no control over the temperature of the room. We stayed in winter, and the room was like an oven. If being a baked potato is your thing, you'll love it. Wrap yourself up in foil and enjoy.. But neither of us could sleep in that heat. Sooo it was a long and crappy night for us both. The hotel staff was nice enough to bring a fan up to the room, so that we could enjoy a convection oven instead. Perhaps they have fixed this temperature problem. Maybe it was just in our room. I have no idea. Call ahead, and ask if you're going to be slow cooked all evening. If not... Book this place! It's lovely. Besides having an absolutely terrible time, we found the place quite lovely.

We visited Jeju island and stayed at Hotel Whistlelark from 2-4 August. Checked out on my wife's birthday, 5 August, for a flight to Seoul Gimpo then onward to our hotel in Seoul. Unfortunately, my wife fell sick and in our haste to get to the airport on time, she had absent mindedly left her wedding band, earrings and a hair tie in the hotel room toilet. We were panicking as we reached the Korean Air check in counter only 15mins before the boarding gate closed. As such, there was no way to turn back and retrieve the ring. Also, Korean Air almost didn't allow us to board as we arrived pretty late. Praise God, the flight was delayed by 15 mins. However, we were given instructions to board immediately. Using our super limited Korean (mostly English), we communicated to the Korean Airlines front desk staff that we needed their assistance to inform Hotel Whistlelark that my wife had left her wedding band behind (the hotel had no Email address stated and we were using the rented WiFi router and had no way to call them as we had no data plans). Cut to the chase - 2 days later, we received the wedding band, hair tie and earrings sent by courier arranged by Hotel Whistlelark to our hotel in Seoul (costs borne by us of course). I would like to commend them for their honesty and efficiency for returning an item of such sentimental value to us. Thumbs up 👍👍👍 to Hotel Whistlelark for going the extra mile to return my wife's items and I would definitely recommend your place to all who want to visit Jeju. 감사합니다!!! 👏👏👏 ♥️♥️♥️

Love the hotel location as it’s near to the airport. Perfect for us who’ve got an early morning flight. Has a direct bus to airport or hotel staff can book a taxi for you. Near lots of restaurants with yummy, affordable & non-pretentious local food. Has a small bathtub but it’s better than no tub at all :) 1 of the male staff speaks very good English but the others speak ok English and ok Chinese. Good service though, they helped us figure out our way and what bus to take etc. Only downside is that hotel doesn’t provide money exchange services. (Some 4 & 5 star hotels do.) We were out of money on a Sunday evening and all the banks and money changers in the vicinity were closed. Directed to the airport money changer which was ALSO CLOSED!! Had a major scare and spent lots of time before we found another money changer (some tears shed in the process) and we missed out one last attraction we wanted to go. But this was our fault really, for taking for granted that we’ll be able to change cash easily. Some other cons: Housefly in the room when we checked in, but we quickly killed it. The wind or another people opening/closing their own doors sometimes makes it sound like someone is banging on our door which is kind of scary. Ventilation system (which honestly many hotels have this issue) makes it such that sometimes we smell other people’s poop or bathroom smell........ Other pros: window can be opened to air the room. Overall, would consider staying at this hotel again at this price or lower.

Pros: The hotel is located strategically near the shopping street of downtown Jeju. Loads of good restaurants around serving good food. The hotel manager is very helpful when we ask him for directions for restaurants nearby. He even walk out to make sure tt we did not walk the wrong direction. Cons: However, the counter staffs are not that helpful. For instance, we asked the hotel for assistance to book a cab to get to airport the following morning as we are afraid that it might be difficult to get a cab during the morning rush hour, but the hotel staff refused and asked us to go to the front to flag for a cab instead. In addition, the cleanliness of the hotel room needs to be improved as well. We book the room w jacczi, we reckoned that the jaccuzi may hv been left unused for some time. As a result when we turn on the motor, there were a lot of dirt and small insect flying out. Yucks!!! Other part of the room still consider clean.

We had a great stay at Best Western Hotel. The room was lovely and and very roomy for three big luggages. The sink is at the dressing table instead of being inside the bathroom, so that was quite strange to get used to. Reception staff recommended us nice places to go for food (wrote the address on paper for the taxi drivers and all) and assisted us to book a taxi to the airport. Only fault was that we couldn't toggle the room temperature, so we had to open the windows to get some air in. Would stay here again!

My room was upgrade to the sea side of the hotel. The staff were very nice and got my bags for me. When I was hurt, the staff did all they could to help me. Didn't get any discounts really but the didn't charge me for the time I used the gym when I got hurt by faulty equipment, the rang to check up on me and I got a plate of free fruits. For such a nice hotel and the price I paid, I am a little surprised as to how all the facilities cost extra to use. Its very easy to rack up an expensive stay if you the facilities of the hotel but the rooms were nice and the lobby was large and classy.

1) The hotel location is quite close to the airport (10 minutes by taxi). 2) The beds and room size are great for couples or family with one kid, but not for family with two young kids. 3) There is an e-mart supermarket within 5 minutes walking distance. We bought bread and instant noodles there for our breakfast. 4) It takes 30 minutes by taxi from the hotel to Halla Mountain and 50 minutes to Seongsan Ilchulbong. The taxi rate (converted to time base) is about 0.8K Won per minute, so 30 minutes will cost you around 24K Won. Halla Mountain and Seongsan Ilchulbong are two must-go in Jeju. 5) Tell the hotel staff where you would like to go (in English) and ask him/her to help you get a taxi. Usually you can get one within 1 minute. Almost all taxi drivers do not speak English. 6) There is a street nearby the hotel (3 minutes by taxi) with 5 or 6 restaurants that serve famous grilled black pork. It's a must-try in Jeju.

Take taxi is about KRW 5000-6000 . iv) Jeju Bus Terminal Interchange Can reach there with any buses in front of the hotel within 15 minutes. v) Baojian Street 15 minutes walk to Baojian Street. 2.Staff Friendly and helpful English and simple Chinese speaking staff . 3. Hairdryer, body and face towel and toiletries are provided. 4. Nearby shopping mall such Shilla Duty Free Shop and Lotte Duty free shop. The room is new and clean...

Location was great for catching a morning flight. There were alot of shops around the hotel where you could go about shopping for last minute items before you leave. Staffs tried their best to help you but I felt that there were a lack of staff as when we checked in there was only one guy at reception and he was helping several guests all by himself. I do salute him however as he really did do his best to accommodate to all the guests. Nevertheless, the hotel was super clean and rooms were really big for the price paid.

I stayed for 3 nights in a comfortable double room. Lots of space for luggage and good size bathroom. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of convenience stores, places to eat and a great cafe right next door - About Coffee & Dessert. A taxi takes about 10 mins from the airport. I would recommend paying for the breakfast here, as it is reasonably priced with a decent delicious selection of food. The staff were all friendly, spoke English and were very helpful.

Location is near the bus terminal and there are buses to many areas including Mt Halla. Room is big and comfortable but there were stains on the carpet. Wanted to book a taxi one day in advance but to the holiday season but was told by the staff there is no need to and they can help to call one the next morning. Unfortunately, they claimed the taxi line was busy and asked us to hail one along the street ourselves. This is rather disappointing and frustrating as we were heading to the airport for a flight out.

The location is good in terms of proximity. There was a nearby bus stop from the hotel for the normal commute & for the hop on/off bus. It's very near the airport too. It was also easy to get a taxi going to the downtown area for shopping & sight seeing. There are many convenient stores & restaurants nearby. The receptionist was also friendly & tried his best to communicate in English. The room is quite small. They could also improve on their cleanliness because there were some dust on the floor & housekeeping would just go to the room to get garbage & give daily supplies. It looks like they didn't sweep enough for the next guests using the room.

It has whatever you will need for a place to sleep overnight. Staffs cant speak much english and one of them made us wait almost 30minutes for check in without even a sorry for his inefficiency. Parking space right in front of the lobby is small and can at most accommodate 15 cars. Do not, however, turn in into the multi storey carpark right opposite the hotel as you would need to pay for it. Get the hotel staff to advise on alternative free parking sites very nearby.

The room has a balcony and it's facing the temple opposite the hotel. It was winter with heavy snow, the balcony was filled with snow and with a snowy white view of the temple opposite, it was superb! Room wasn't spacious but it fits the 4 of us, so we are satisfied. Bus stop is just 5-10 mins walk away from the hotel, and there's convenient shop located just the opposite road of the hotel. Walk about 10 mins you'll find restaurants. It quite near to Iho Taewoo beach, it took us about 25-30 mins to reach the beach by walk. Overall, satisfy with the 2 nights stay.

We arrived in Jeju 6pm and as instructed, we rode bus# 500. However, we had a bit of a mishap and went down on the wrong stop which turned out to be quite far from Cheju Halla General Hospital! Thankfully, a nice lady who spoke a bit of english helped us tell a cab driver to drop us off the right bus stop. Tip: If you're coming to Jeju with friends, it's better to ride a cab to/from the airport. Your pooled funds for the cab is just about the same as your combined bus fare. Our room was VERY NICE - it was a pleasant surprise when we saw that our room was spacious - it had a living area with a 2-seater couch for watching TV, it had enough luggage space, water dispenser and refrigerator, air deodorizer/cleaner and a separate door for after you leave your shoes near the main door and wear your slippers inside (much like what you see in Korean homes). The toilet was very nice too! It had a bidet and a tub =) Location - From the bus stop right in front of Cheju Halla General Hospital, walk towards the stop light. Cross the road to Caffe Tiamo. Walk straight until a GS25 store and cross the street at the first corner. Goodstay Nulsong Parktel is located a few steps from the other side of the first corner. It's in front of a restaurant that serves roast black pig. You won't miss it. Food and Water - Water is provided inside the room. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast though. However, you can always eat out at the cafe nearby or buy at the convenience stores or buy at the nearby grocery (EMart is about 2 blocks or 10-15 minutes away). There's also a McDonald's branch on the same direction as going to EMart. Overall experience - I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel when in Jeju! It's accessible, the rooms are way beyond what I expected, the front desk staff speak decent english and there are a lot of restaurants or food chains nearby.

immediately shocked by the greeting/opening of the Hotel door upon our arrival by an employee who greeted us with a friendly, welcoming smile. Check-in was quick and easy. the rooms were very clean and comfortable. the bathroom in our Superior twin room was a bit cramped but wasn't bad. the hotel was easy to find and very accessible. the concierge was incredible, helping me find what i was looking for in Jeju at all hours of the day, even booking a large taxi van for our group of 5. a few complaints would be regarding the Air Conditioning in the room. upon arriving in the room an attendant came to check the AC. we left it on to cool the room off while heading out for a few hours only to come back to a warm stuffy room. the phone connection to the front desk didn't work so we physically had to go down ourselves to ask for help and a phone call was made instantly. however the temperature in our room didn't change and if you weren't sitting in front of the window you were sweating. we left the window open overnight risking mosquitos coming in because there were no screens on the windows, but it was better than sweating to death. one other complaint would be about the casino, we very much enjoyed it the first night but upon returning the second day for some play they didn't open upon stated time 5pm and after waiting 30 mins, we left along with multiple other foreigners who we later saw jump in a taxi to another casino. the blackjack was great though, just wished they opened on time. check out was easy and the concierge held our luggage all day until our flights that evening.
