We reach hotel at a late time. But we were both hungry after check in. We asked the hotel staff for food direction. he gave us a few suggestions. so we started walking in the heavy snow in hope to find food. after 5 mins. A car stop in front of us and it was the hotel staff!!! He must have been very worried that we walked too long in the cold. Hence he came looking for...We reach hotel at a late time. We were really very touched by his gesture. His attitude is way more than just 5 stars. Thank you!!! we had the best time in jeju. Lastly, hotel is needless to say. Everything excellent from cleanliness to space to heater and shower room.

The Hotel is very nice with a very good location as well. I actually booked a room with a seaview on the upper floor, but as I checked in near the evening (after I finished my day tour), I was informed that the room with direct seaview in the upper floor is fully occupied, the reception staffs then give me a room with a side view of the sea and free vouchers for breakf...The Hotel is very nice with a very good location as well. Anyway, as I was only staying for one night, so I'm just okay with the deals. The Breakfast was really nice. The Hotel's location is superb, across the hotel was kinda a court with seaview, around the hotel there's lots of eateries from seafood to the famous black pork. Shopping street and Local Markets are just few mins walk. I'm likely to book this hotel again on my next visit to jeju. Notes : It's just I think since I already booked the hotel with advanced payment, I think whether or not I arrived late, there's should be at least a room based on my request been ready for the day because I had paid for it.

Location wise, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel that goes to the city. However we didn't use it. Took a taxi whenever we wanted to go to the city, cost around SGD8-10 per trip. Most of the reception staff understood and spoke minimal English (only met 1 or 2 whom could speak really well). However, it would help if you could try to speak slower and do some research beforehand on the places that you wanted to visit. Despite the language barrier, they were still very helpful towards understanding my requests and helped to act as a translator between the taxi driver and us. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was an optional add-on. Quite expensive though the food quality was not bad. Limited dining options around the hotel. There is a fast food chain outlet (Lotteria) around 8mins walk away from the hotel. A fried chicken chain outlet (Nene chicken) just beside the hotel. A few convenience stores also located within walking distance from the hotel.

Only drawbacks - overall 4 star - room condition & very limited gym facilities. We stayed 2 times. The 1st stay (29/9 to 1/10) - we had a nice suite (Room 1140), very spacious, & toilet was well designed (no leakages). Nice view of the city and quiet location away from the lift. The 2nd stay (3 to 6/10) - we had a standard room (Room 532) which was much smaller with a partial view of the ocean but had leaky shower due to bad design, leaky tap at the sink & bad leak from above the windows during the typhoon.

There were 24-hr convenience stores, cafes and restaurants nearby. Just infront of the hotel is the historical pavillion, similar to old palaces in Seoul and just a few walk, you will see the entrance of the underground shopping center. Bus Stop is near. For those who booked for a group tour with YEHA Tours, Robero Hotel is one of their pick-up and drop-off locations. So, you dont need to go to nearby hotels to pick you up. I booked for Yeha Tours and they picked me up in the hotel's lobby.

Hotel Leo locates in New Jeju, ~10 minutes from the airport by car. Location wise, it is superb. Close to the airport, shopping and food streets, Lotte duty free and bus stops. The bus stop 10 steps away from the hotel is Grace Hotel Stop which is a convenient stop to go around jeju city. Halla Hospital stop is ~7 minutes walk, close to Lotte City Duty Free and connects you to further tourist attractions like Seowipo. Taxis are everywhere. The hotel is not on the main street and hence, is nice and quiet. However, my room is on level 3 and I could here cars and people outside, the staff were very apologetic about not being able to provide a room on a higher level. Because of the super comfortable bed and pillows, I dozed off easily every night despite the noise. Staff are friendly and speak very good English!

I have no idea. Call ahead, and ask if you're going to be slow cooked all evening. If not... Book this place! It's lovely. Besides having an absolutely terrible time, we found the place quite lovely.

We visited Jeju island and stayed at Hotel Whistlelark from 2-4 August. Checked out on my wife's birthday, 5 August, for a flight to Seoul Gimpo then onward to our hotel in Seoul. Unfortunately, my wife fell sick and in our haste to get to the airport on time, she had absent mindedly left her wedding band, earrings and a hair tie in the hotel room toilet. We were pan...We visited Jeju island and stayed at Hotel Whistlelark from 2-4 August. Checked out on my wife's birthday, 5 August, for a flight to Seoul Gimpo then onward to our hotel in Seoul. Unfortunately, my wife fell sick and in our haste to get to the airport on time, she had absent mindedly left her wedding band, earrings and a hair tie in the hotel room toilet. We were panicking as we reached the Korean Air check in counter only 15mins before the boarding gate closed. As such, there was no way to turn back and retrieve the ring. Also, Korean Air almost didn't allow us to board as we arrived pretty late. Praise God, the flight was delayed by 15 mins. However, we were given instructions to board immediately. Using our super limited Korean (mostly English), we communicated to the Korean Airlines front desk staff that we needed their assistance to inform Hotel Whistlelark that my wife had left her wedding band behind (the hotel had no Email address stated and we were using the rented WiFi router and had no way to call them as we had no data plans). Cut to the chase - 2 days later, we received the wedding band, hair tie and earrings sent by courier arranged by Hotel Whistlelark to our hotel in Seoul (costs borne by us of course). I would like to commend them for their honesty and efficiency for returning an item of such sentimental value to us. Thumbs up 👍👍👍 to Hotel Whistlelark for going the extra mile to return my wife's items and I would definitely recommend your place to all who want to visit Jeju. 감사합니다!!! 👏👏👏 ♥️♥️♥️

Love the hotel location as it’s near to the airport. Perfect for us who’ve got an early morning flight. Has a direct bus to airport or hotel staff can book a taxi for you. Near lots of restaurants with yummy, affordable & non-pretentious local food. Has a small bathtub but it’s better than no tub at all :) 1 of the male staff speaks very good English but the others s...Love the hotel location as it’s near to the airport. Good service though, they helped us figure out our way and what bus to take etc. Only downside is that hotel doesn’t provide money exchange services. (Some 4 & 5 star hotels do.) We were out of money on a Sunday evening and all the banks and money changers in the vicinity were closed. Directed to the airport money changer which was ALSO CLOSED!! Had a major scare and spent lots of time before we found another money changer (some tears shed in the process) and we missed out one last attraction we wanted to go. But this was our fault really, for taking for granted that we’ll be able to change cash easily. Some other cons: Housefly in the room when we checked in, but we quickly killed it. The wind or another people opening/closing their own doors sometimes makes it sound like someone is banging on our door which is kind of scary. Ventilation system (which honestly many hotels have this issue) makes it such that sometimes we smell other people’s poop or bathroom smell........ Other pros: window can be opened to air the room. Overall, would consider staying at this hotel again at this price or lower.

If you're traveling to Jeju Island and don't plan on driving, this is a convenient location. The intercity bus terminal is about 10 min. walk from the hotel. The buses there will take you to most of the popular locations of Jeju City and Seoqwipo. Several buses from the airport will take you to the hotel but just take a taxi cause it's easier. Take Bus 100 and get off on Dongmunro Rotary stop (동문로터리), it will conveniently take you to the tourist shopping area (underground shopping mall and outdoor shopping stores similar to Myeongdong, Seoul) and Black Pig Street. The bus stop has a giant touchscreen in English that gives you more information. The hotel itself was great for the price. The free breakfast included rice + traditional side dishes (kimchi, spinach, salad, fish cake), toast, coffee, orange juice, and seaweed soup. The room was clean, but the shower had no ventilation so it was constantly humid in there. Bath towels are an extra 2,000 won charge, otherwise you just get small hand towels. The front desk were nice and spoke a good level of English.

For instance, we asked the hotel for assistance to book a cab to get to airport the following morning as we are afraid that it might be difficult to get a cab during the morning rush hour, but the hotel staff refused and asked us to go to the front to flag for a cab instead. In addition, the cleanliness of the hotel room needs to be improved as well. We book the room w jacczi, we reckoned that the jaccuzi may hv been left unused for some time. As a result when we turn on the motor, there were a lot of dirt and small insect flying out. Yucks!!! Other part of the room still consider clean.

The sink is at the dressing table instead of being inside the bathroom, so that was quite strange to get used to. My room was upgrade to the sea side of the hotel. The staff were very nice and got my bags for me. When I was hurt, the staff did all they could to help me. Didn't get any discounts really but the didn't charge me for the time I used the gym when I got hurt by faulty equipment, the rang to check up on me and I got a plate of free fruits. Its very easy to rack up an expensive stay if you the facilities of the hotel but the rooms were nice and the lobby was large and classy.

The taxi rate (converted to time base) is about 0.8K Won per minute, so 30 minutes will cost you around 24K Won. Halla Mountain and Seongsan Ilchulbong are two must-go in Jeju. 5) Tell the hotel staff where you would like to go (in English) and ask him/her to help you get a taxi. Usually you can get one within 1 minute. Almost all taxi drivers do not speak English. 6) There is a street nearby the hotel (3 minutes by taxi) with 5 or 6 restaurants that serve famous grilled black pork. It's a must-try in Jeju.

Location was great for catching a morning flight. There were alot of shops around the hotel where you could go about shopping for last minute items before you leave. Staffs tried their best to help you but I felt that there were a lack of staff as when we checked in there was only one guy at reception and he was helping several guests all by himself. I do salute him however as he really did do his best to accommodate to all the guests. Nevertheless, the hotel was super clean and rooms were really big for the price paid.

Hotel star overrated, I expected 4.5 star standard hotel, but Agoda overrated the hotel, I was disappointed. Rooms are really small, no tooth brush and tooth paste supplied. The electric sockets were out of order, possibly the fuse was burnt, no electricity supplied even you plug the electirc applicances into the sockets. We complained to hotel reception gentleman around 20:00, but his English was very poor, we have to explained him many times , finally he understood and agreed to send an electrican to the room to check and repair. When we came back around 23:00, the condition was the same! Nothing was repaired. The electrican came and use different water pot to plug onto the sockets, finally he realised the problem of the fuse and requested to give him more time to repair. How come we complained at 20:00 and nothing was repaired until midnight! My friend refused him to repair and requested reception to change the room immediately, the reception ignored their own fault and requested my friend to pay the extra for the upgrading the room! Of course my friend refused to pay the extra for the room. Finally the hotel agreed to upgrade the room free of charge in the midnight. Ramada is the international brand, I stayed in Ramada hotels in different countries, but this is the poorest Ramada hotel! I never stay in this Ramada Encore Jeju Yeon-dong hotel again.

The room was clean and big, with our room windows overlooking a garden located at the back, which was a nice view in the snowy winter. :) We asked for a double non-smoking room, but due to unavailability, they gave us a room with a semi-double bed and a single bed, which as a more-than-adequate upgrade for us. :) Breakfast is pretty expensive if your package doesn't already include it, but with the amount of choices available around the hotel, it wasn't a bother for us. Hotel is situated about 7 - 10mins from the airport, and the drop-off point is just by the main road adjacent to the hotel. The main road has several buses for traveling around too, if you know the way. Overall, would recommend this hotel! :)

Everything was wonderful, the view itself is fantastic. Staff are very friendly though sometimes theyare having hard time understanding me because of the language barrier, BUT they will help you in anything you need with a smile on their faces. Being in near the heart of the city means that shopping is also very close by. The hotel itself had a rather indie/boutique vibe in its design. The staff are amazing at answering your questions and they know a lot about the island. They helped us locate restaurants to dine at and where to buy Jeju specialties. Highly recommended!
