I have stayed at the Diamond Hotel before and each time it has been wonderful. But this time they really lived up to their reputation of a 5 star Hotel. We had our wedding reception planned in the dining room during the weekend. The management and the wait staff went over the top to take care of our guests and visiting family members. Our special thanks to Mr. Edwin Acuyan, Director of Food and Beverage. He made our special day the best it could have been. The attention to detail was exemplary. The rooms were cozy but elegant and the staff was always concerned about our comfort. My husband and I were able to feel at ease. The fantastic service of our guests was followed up with the delivery of a complimentary bottle of wine and personal message of congratulations. To anyone looking for a hotel that offers the best Service, Professionalism, Security, and Attention to detail with a Personalized touch, the Diamond Hotel encapsulates it all. We looked at many places to hold this momentous event but the staff of the Diamond was the only hotel to call us and follow up and make sure the details were correct from place settings to flowers they really were the best choice in Manila. The Diamond hotel is elegant, and the management and staff have the professionalism and knowledge to make a weekend stay or a wedding reception a wonderful and relaxing stressless event. Our special thanks to the staff. We will be visiting the Diamond again soon.

Breakfast deserved a praise. One of the best breakfast served by a reputable hotel I have tried so far. Cons 1. This hotel is located at a back alley instead of d main road. My airport taxi driver took 15 mins around d area locating this hotel in manila's bad traffic condition. 2. This hotel is surrounded by 'pubs & clubs with escorts'. 3. I was assigned a room on the 19th floor. Great view BUT renovations were done on the floor. You could hear 'knockings' from early in the morning and smell paints at the corridor. Did not complain to the management as I was only staying one night. 4. There is a Pagcor Casino in the premise BUT no direct access from the hotel lifts. U have to access the casino from another side entrance and make ur way to the casino by escalators.

Everything is neaby: Restaurants (mostly Korean and Japanese food, some Chinese), Bars, Mall, 7-Eleven, Starbucks, McDonald´s, Pharmacy, Dentist, Casino, LTR (Metro-Train), Laundry.... If you book a standard room = floors 1-5, Mabini-Street side = very very very noisy. Backside = quiet, but 4 meters (12ft) in front of room windo...Location is excellent. Staff friendly. Guests are 50% Korean and Japanese, who usually smoke like hell, therefore most rooms smell from smoke. If you don't smoke, send previous e-mail and ask for NON SMOKING ROOM. BREAKFAST is really no big deal, so better forget it (breakfast included "special rate" on some booking platforms = forget it also). About the AIR CONDITION: 99.99% of all negative customer's comments here are on the AC which is old, very noisy and not really adjustable. In addition to that A/C is directly blowing into your face while sleeping (management says, customers like it. I did not and spent 2 full days in bed with a heavy cold (from the said A/C). I don't know how many customers will have to complaint again until the management will replace these rotten items. Tipp: Rothman hotel belongs to the same management and is just half a block away. Rothman rates are almost the same, but the hotel is in most categories far better (apart from A/C which is the same model (but at least not blowing onto the bed).And yes, there are girls going in and out in both of the hotels (some comments were about), but it's very discreet, decent and safe (doorman controls all in/outgoing guests 24h ). This is the case in all hotels of the area. If you can't live with it, don't stay in Malate, you better go to Makati which is boring (and where you pay 3 times more)....

The Agoda package came with daily change/supply of towels, shampoo and soap and all inclusive aircon, cable tv and internet. Hotel does not have gym or swimming pool. There are 3 desktop computers in the lobby but only one of them has free internet access. On the hotel...This hotel is part of the Air Asia group. Rooms are fairly new and clean with comfortable beds. The Agoda package came with daily change/supply of towels, shampoo and soap and all inclusive aircon, cable tv and internet. On the hotel ground floor, there is a pub called “Molly Malone” where you can have breakfast (USD6-8) and warm meals (about USD8-USD12) per person and a convenient store where you can get almost anything including hot snacks and bottled water, very convenient indeed. Adjoining to the hotel is Maybank and there are several money changers around. There are around 3 Chinese restaurants and 2 Korean restaurants along the same street. A Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf café is also located a street behind the hotel. Hotel is close to Manila Bay where you can catch a cruise (operated by Sun Cruise) to the historical Corregidor Island which housed the US Navy during World War II and saw one of the heaviest bombardments. You are also within a 10 minutes taxi ride to the humongous Mall of Asia (on the higher end side) and within a half-hour taxi ride (with moderate traffic) to suburban shopping areas like Market Market (mid-range prices) and Greenhill Shopping Centre (teemed with electronic goods such as mobile phones, tablets, computer accessories etc and knock-off designer goods). Taxi fare from airport to hotel is about PP450 (moderate traffic) but from the taxi fare from hotel to Airport was only PP180 (no traffic). For a charge of PP600, you can take the hotel limousine to airport. If you’re out most of the day sightseeing/shopping and all you need is a decent bed and shower at night, this hotel is a very good deal.

I have a review on this hotel for a four night stay. I extended for an extra night and the staff was good to let me stay in the same room. My review is the same as the four day stay. I was pleasantly surprised and happy I booked here. The good and not so goods--> Positive....the breakfast buffet was one of the best I have had since I tend to stay at hotels that provide it. Lots to choose from and you can eat enough to hold you until dinner. Also positive is the location to the Robinson Mall....(across the street)....once you can manage crossing the street there is plenty at the mall....it will be a daily visit for you. Negative--> The rooms don't look as nice as the photos here, but they are very sufficient. Your rooms are only "cleaned" on request. Mainly just changing the sheets and new towels....anything else you need to ask. For example there were some small bugs around (harmless, but annoying to see) that I had to make a request to spray. Overall I would stay again....oh...and on a final note there is a great bus service across at the mall for 150p (3 USD) and cool comfort that will take you to the airport....independently owned.

I had a great experience with the staff and my room. However, some things could be better. 1) Wifi was very slow and was constantly going out and had to be reset manually downstairs 2)Not having a shower door almost always got the bathroom floor outside the shower wet. It's also very near a mall, so there are tons of foreign options available if you dont want authentic Filipino food. It is also a short drive away from other places. The staff is very accommodating and helpful and def made the experience so much better.

Thick walls so it's quite quiet like a cave. 30" flatscreen TV, fast internet, big bathroom. Comfortable beds. Most of Malate area feels quite seedy but Robinson's place just 5 mins walk down Pedro Gil is good for shopping, eating, movie...Have stayed several times in Kimberly. Orchid Garden is conveniently located relative to the airport. Tourist destinations, and SM mall with restaurants are within easy walking distance. They really get the flavor of the time and in ways it is quite like going back in time at Orchid Garden. Spacious tables await you outside in the garden as well if you prefer to eat there and hear the sounds of Manila just outside the gates. Pool is refreshing after a hot day in the city, rooms are quiet, clean and well appointed and some will give you incredible views of the city and sunsets over the water. Internet access is also provided if needed. The superbly courteous friendly and professional staff are very welcoming to couples and I would consider it a romantic setting if you are looking for a finer place to meet and get acquainted.

We were little surprised there superior room is really nice has many cable channels and nice clean bathroom. Beware the night entertainment on the side facing Robinson goes till like 2:00 am on weekends so unless you plan to stay out late, don't get that side of the hotel cause you will NOT sleep... A lot of the reviews I read on this very same site before booking my room in this hotel were fairly accurate, except where some people complained about the hotel personnel not being so friendly. In my case, they were really nice all the way, so no complaints there. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom quality is above what you would expect from such hotel. Big shower (so u can easily be two people showering at the same time if that's your thing), hairdryer, nice sink top with room to place your belongings. The location is very good depending on what you're looking for. Indeed there is quite a bit of cacophony once you step out of the hotel and you're immediately plunged into some urban jungle of KTV Bars, traffic, beggars, hustlers (mostly at night) trying to get your attention. That being said, at no point did I ever feel in danger. Just use common sense and do not overdress, carry jewelry or make it easy for someone to steal your wallet. What I recommend are the wallet strap on belts that wrap around your waist which is then covered by your shirt. A great asset of the location is the nice Robinson Mall which is right around the corner. There one can find pretty much everything from great restaurants to supermarket shopping... And it's air-conditioned... and there is free wi-fi on the entire premise. Speaking of wi-fi, the hotel provides it, but at a great cost. Others have complained and I join them in stating that charging $10 for 4 hours of Internet usage in the room is just too much. They really need to bring this fee down considering other hotels offer it for free. Overall a good experience for a very competitive price and great location in particular if you are a single man and into the nightlife.

After check in I noticed that I did not have a double bed like requested. The manager directly gave me a other room that was no to my satisfaction. Directly the manager changed the room again and this was perfect. Compliments for the manager. My 2 day stay was good. Very friendly helpfull staf. The room has a hot water pot and coffee and tea, you can get sugar and creamer on the 6th floor. The street outside is small and lots of traffic but it is safe at night. Around the corner is the ocean Baywalk and places to eat. You can walk to Robinsons etc in minutes. The drawback is the windows have no view. There is a safe and wardrobe.

If the highest score is 10 then I would give them a score of 11. Heroes Hotel have exceeded my expectations in a hotel. If you want the service of a 5-star hotel that would still fit your budget then just book your stay here. All of their staff are courteous and ready to help you with anything, their facilities are awesome (specially their bathroom!! All in all, we are very satisfied with our stay. I will surely return and I would love to try their tour packages. PS: they are also involved in outreach programs. Truly, service with a heart...

The hotel is located in a quiet street, but only 5 minutes walk to Robinsons Place, the major shopping mall in the area. It is 10 minutes walk to Manila Bay, and 20 minutes walk to Rizal Park and Manila Ocean Park. There are als...This is my regular hotel when I stay in Manila. The hotel is located in a quiet street, but only 5 minutes walk to Robinsons Place, the major shopping mall in the area. It is 10 minutes walk to Manila Bay, and 20 minutes walk to Rizal Park and Manila Ocean Park. There are also excellent transport connections (LRT, Jeepney, UV Express) if you wish to use public transportation. The hotel has a lovely pool, which is in shadow from mid afternoon so you won't get sunburnt. You can buy a limited selection of drinks from the pool attendant. Breakfast is great, a range of western and Filipino delights from an a la carte menu. I highly recommend the longanisa!

Like as other reviews rooms were cleaned everyday, towels changed .Basic amenities are available,telephone, TV,soap no teeth brush, shampoo and mineral water but 7E opposite this hot...Well, I have read the description and reviews before booking so everything were same as in the description. After all the price is reasonable so don't compare this hotel with 5 star hotels . restaurant we don't try it. I was looking for something cheap that would house me for like 8-10 hours and I saw this place selling a room for 8 USD. I quickly booked it. They have a nice guard, and a nice receptionist. The room is not much but for the price of a HOSTEL stay it is A STEAL. if you're a backpacker stay here instead of a crowded hostel.
