Location wise for football fans, it is awesome! Just right beside Old Trafford and some rooms have the stadium view from its windows. However it was a little troublesome to get there from the nearby train station as you have to walk quite a distance. The rooms are equipped with almost everything, from ironing board to free refreshments from their fridge. It is really clean and spotless as well.

Booked this hotel primarily on price and location. We wanted to explore Salford Quays and the shops and this hotel gave a great Base to do it. Ibis are basic but I was pleasantly surprised with them. Each bedroom has a tiny toilet area, shower and a comfy bed. But in this heat it also had a brilliant air cooling system that kept it cool and pleasant despite 31 degree heat outside. Located a 1 min walk away on Trafford Rd from the Quays so if want to explore The Quays on a budget, try this hotel. Overnight parking is £7. The Ibis staff were brilliant . Very funky decor in the hotel makes you smile !! Great value and great location. Handy for Old Trafford if you like your footy . So try it yourself !!

Very good! Ample free parking space. Free WiFi. Located just opposite KFC and McDonald's on one side and a retail park with Sainsbury's on another. Sainsbury's petrol kiosk also offers best price for petrol, free air and water for those travelling by car. The hotel is reasonably clean and well maintained. Room was large. There is some traffic noise heard. No elevators to upper floors so be prepared to carry your luggage up some stairs. Within walking distance to Museum of Science and Industry which is free for admission.

We chose this branch instead of the Oxford Rd (not to be mistaken to be the same hotel! We made that mistake and wasted a bit of money on the PTE-booked train fare...) because my partner wanted to make his pilgrimage to the Old Trafford Stadium. It was about a 10-minute walk away. We could see the stadium from the hotel. Great location with good food available nearby. Shopping mall (outlet mall) just a 5 minute walk from the hotel for the ladies if you're not interested in visiting the stadium. The rooms were clean, aircond temperature adjustable, hot water available, beds were comfortable. Pillows come in two options - soft or hard - perfect for partner and I (he prefers hard, I prefer soft). Hot water pot available. Such a value for money place for people on a budget too! Having come from Malaysia, we only paid RM320 for the room. Two breakfasts included and wifi for one device. Great deal!

I had booked this accommodation the week before coming, and it was comparable to Travelodge and Premier Inn, but inclusive of breakfast and Wifi, which was good. Tasty breakfast, not too oily, with spaces to sit due to the high turnover - situated where there is lots of sun - bonus! Bed got made every day and bin got emptied, but additional cleanliness - room was not hoovered unless requested, and mugs not cleaned and condiments not filled up, so I had to call downstairs to ask them to bring some up - not something you want to do at 10pm after coming back from dinner. Staff were very obliging to do so, and with a smile. Convenient drive to the Chill Factore, where my course was held. All in all, a good stay, with minimal fuss, despite a few things lacking, so overall positive. Will stay here again if I come up to Manchester.
