We stayed here for 3 nights around Easter time, and were really pleased with the hotel. The hotel design is very over the top, but, its a bit like Vegas, tacky but done well. The rooms are comfortable, luxurious and clean, but not the best we have seen for a 5 star resort. The hotel is huge and the gardens are beautiful. The swimming pool (over 30 degrees) and 3 Jacuzzis (almost 40 degrees) were amazing, was so nice to swim up until midnight in the lit pool when the weather was so cold and rainy outside. The sauna by the pool was fantastic too, and they lend you fluffy bathrobes to dash between the changing rooms and pool area, everything was very well thought out. We spent most days out exploring Jeju island, then evenings relaxing in the hotel and in the pool. The food in the Korean restaurant was lovely, we went for the tasting menu and there was so much food, all cooked to perfection, lovely local ingredients and flavours, really enjoyable. Great having the bakery in the lobby, nice to be able to take snacks for a day trip. The staff were friendly and helpful and all trained very well. But we had one negative experience. We asked the hotel to book us an English driver for the day, and the driver was appalling. He drove erratically, had no seat belts in the car,y and his English was so poor that we felt ripped off paying more for an 'English' guide! He asked us to pay for his lunch (even though it was supposed to be included in the day rate). Then drove slowly and swerved all over the place, meaning we had to pay an extra hour to cover the sights that we had planned. We were surprised that the hotel recommended this driver. At the end of the day, we mentioned to the hotel, and they dismissed it so we went to talk to concierge who apologised. We were not after an apology, but really wanted them to remove this driver from their list so that other guests do not have the same negative experience.

The hotel was located at the south of the jeju island and is very convenient to many sightseeing attractions of the island, such as teddy bear museum. The aiport shuttle service also makes a stop right in front of the hotel if you arrive early! The hotel itself has a 200 steps staircase that leads to the beach! if only it was summer, it would be so convenient for us! There is a hotel for every budget in Jeju island. Bayhill is meant definitely to cater to the more discerning traveler who value service and serenity over convenience. Meaning to say, if you are to stay in this hotel, you will need to have your own transport as you will be far from all the attractions. The village where the hotel is situated has several basic restaurants but nothing fancy and some convenience stores. However, if you are like us who just love the tranquility of being in a village surrounded by citrus farms and a distant view of the sea, there is no better place to stay. This was my second visit to the hotel and it already feels like a second home due to the friendly staff service and the spacious layout of the duplex suite. Highly recommended but take note of the distance of the hotel location from the airport and jeju city

It was my first trip to Jeju Island. I would definitely recommend Benikia hotel Jungmun to anyone who is visiting Jeju Island, especially Jungmun area. It's a clean and cosy hotel with friendly and kind staffs who would help you with everything you need. The receptionist spoke in English. He helped me to find my lost iPhone. Close to everything Cheonjiyeon waterfall, museums and other attractions including teddy bear museum, trick eye museum, play kpop, a chocolate museum and so on. Actually, it was just a 15min walk from everything. Also, it's close to Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff and a beach.

this was a well above average stay at a wonderful four star hotel near jungmung resort on the south coast of jeju island, south korea. smaller than it's two massive casino hotel neighbours but nevertheless well appointed and excellently located near all the attractions, my wife and i were well pleased with our stay. however, they advertise themselves as 5 star and i...this was a well above average stay at a wonderful four star hotel near jungmung resort on the south coast of jeju island, south korea. smaller than it's two massive casino hotel neighbours but nevertheless well appointed and excellently located near all the attractions, my wife and i were well pleased with our stay. however, they advertise themselves as 5 star and in typical korean fashion, they create their own scoring system rather following the internationally recognised hotel star system. for example, a 5 star hotel must have 24 hour room service and this hotel did not. there were tea making facilities but only korean green tea. no coffee or the usual lipton/twinings black tea you would find in an international 5 star. also there was no visible porter service and no one to greet us/open the door as we entered. these are all trappings of a real 5 star hotel. one final gripe is that the hotel lobby bar/restaurant was extremely expensive with a burger and a local beer going for over 20 dollars. my wife and i noticed that with the exception of the buffet breakfast, the bar/restaurant seemed totally abandoned by the hotel guest. they need to have realistic prices out of season. otherwise a really nice hotel at a reasonable price: recommended!

Also surrounded by forest, you can go for a walk. Not in the central area of Joongmoon, a car is required to dine out or to visit the beach. A simple "resort" thing they could do would be to make bicycles available for guests, as this is along Jeju's excellent biking/walking loop around the island. The hotel room was new, clean and spacious. The hotel is not on google maps, and the hotel's phone number could not be found on the in-car Korean GPS. You can reach the hotel though by entering the hotel nearby, Snob Boutique Hotel Jeju (064-738-3555). There is a laundry shop at this location Cheonjeyeon-ro 214 (064-738-8474) and there's a self-service laundry just two shops away at a lower cost.

Reception was polite, although there was a small mistake with the room allocation, it was solved within a couple of minutes and they were really apologetic about it even though it was a small issue. The staff was extremely friendly. I arrived late on my first night and they assisted with ordering food from a delivery service for me (tasty chicken, pizza, and beer). After that, it was down hill. The AC unit in the room couldn’t be plugged in as it’s mounted too high above the door. The WiFi had issues cutting out on me and I couldn’t connect all my devices. This property is part residence and part hotel. Room is actually a 1 bedroom apartment. It comes with kitchen but sadly missing pots and utensil. At least there's a washing machine but panel is in Korean. There's quite a number of eateries around. As we are only staying for the night, it suffice to say that it exceeded my expectation. Overall, it's a good place to stay if you're exploring the southern and western coast of Jeju Island. Just remember parking lots is limited so you might have to park along the roadside.

We had a great stay in the Soul Mini Hotel. The room was clean and quite large with a nice view on the balcony. The host is a very polite man that speaks English very well and is willing to help if necessary. He even gave us a ride to the north part of the island since he was driving that way. The hotel is not that accessible with public transportation, but taxis are all over the island and are cheap. Another option is to get a rent car (but don't forget your international drivers license in that case!).
