The hotel is so beautiful too! I would like to thank you the receptionist guy (sorry, I didn’t ask his name) who helped us to guide us around the Tam Coc tour and helped us with all his heart to book bus tickets on a short notice during Tet time!! Thank you Thank you! I wish there was other The Reed in the other cities in Vietnam!!! :)

This big, new, gleaming hotel sets a new standard for the more humble town of Ninh Binh. You can come here and enjoy 5 star treatment and facilities. Although they are still building parts of the hotel, if you arrange with the concierge to use the pool or sauna, they will have it ready for you within 30 minutes. All the staff are very excited about their new roles in this flash establishment, and they will do their best for you despite some of the small inconveniences due to the building processes that are almost complete. We only had breakfast in the hotel, so we cannot comment accurately on their food and dining.

I had mentioned that is was my girlfriends birthday and that's why we were coming to stay at their hotel. I only mentioned this so they would give us a double bed instead of a twin. When we arrived everyone at the front desk wished my girlfriend a happy birthday and when we got to our room there was a birthday card and a rose on the bed. We stayed here for 4 nights (one longer than we had booked) because we absolutely loved it! The room was spacious, clean, had a great balcony overlooking the street. The A/C worked great as well as the hot water and TV, the bed was very comfortable and the free breakfast included in our room rate was great! We did have a bit of a misunderstanding around train ticket pricing, but after discussing it and explaining the situation they fixed the problem! (after reading the reviews, we realized it would likely have been best to just book our own tickets :) The hotel does have pedal bikes available for 50 000 VND/day which were perfect for exploring the area and getting to the sights we wanted to see. They also offer food all day, and if you prefer to go out there were a few local spots within 5 mins walk with delicious food!

Good central location and nice rooms. We were put in the old part of the hotel but rooms were still nice. Hotel staff is helpful but avoid their tour to the national park. The tour guide was one of the front desk staff with little knowledge of the park and limited English. I’d say The Vancouver Hotel is the best one we have found in Vietnam. The service and the friendliness of the staff in this hotel was outstanding and among the best we experienced during our entire Vietnam trip. We booked the hotel's airport transfer to/from Hanoi (the driver stopped on the way and provided us some goodies because we obviously looked hungry..) and they also arranged a very nice one-day trip to the Cuc Phuong forest for u...The service and the friendliness of the staff in this hotel was outstanding and among the best we experienced during our entire Vietnam trip. We stayed two nights Trang An Luxury Hotel. Everything is so great. The hotel is very new and clean, it was only 4 months old at the time we were there. They also have bikes lending for free, so you can ride around to explore local people's life and the beautiful scenery around the hotel. The staff is so friendly and helpful. On our second day at the hotel, the staff helped us rent the motobikes from the motobike renting service. When the motobike renting service said they did't have the kind of motobikes we wanted, one of the hotel staff even let us use her personal motobike. So we used hers to visit Trang An, which is only 3kms from the hotel. But on our way there, we hit nails on the road and caused a flat tire. The staff was so kind, she went to get the bike and took it to the shop to get it fixed for us, and she insisted on paying 50% of the repare cost even thougth it's all our responsibility. They aslo prepared breakfast for us so we didn't have to go eat outside. The hotel has all of facilities we need. It looks like a 3-star hotel to me. We definitely will come back here next time.

There isn't much to do in Ninh Binh itself but the natural scenery at nearby places like Tam Coc and Mua Cave is stunning. Luong helped arrange a brilliant trip to the Cuc Phuong national park on my first full day in Ninh Binh and a trip to Tam Coc, Bich Dong pagoda and Mua Cave on my second. He also arranged for me to be driven (at no charge!!) to the train station on my first day to make sure I could buy my train ticket to Da Nang. The rooms are also large, clean, comfortable and have good a/c. For the price, the hotel is excellent value. If you're visiting Ninh Binh, make sure you stay at Kinh Do Hotel!!

The bathroom is great with a large rain shower. We booked a room for three and felt at home at once. After showing us the room, the host invited us to eat in his hotel restaurant, which he runs with his wife. We did not regret the decision. The food was great, they served us fruits for free, and gave us some advice on what to visit in Ninh Binh (a lot). For breakfast (included) you could order different drinks, omletts, eggs, pancakes, fruits, and soup. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend the hotel and its lovely owners to other travelers! It is really worth a visit. Thank you!!!

A short stroll or ride across the canal takes you to a park and the backpacker area with some good restaurant options. I stayed for one night but I would love to stay longer. Usually, I stay at hostels but at that time I wanted a private room and I found this place at a very low price. It was really decent - the room is big, everything is clean, location is perfect. You can find cafes, motorbikes for rent nearby. It's not far from the railway station. But It's for sure a perfect place at this price. I highly recommend if you wanna a private room but you lack money.

This hotel is not so easy to find it, because it is in a little street, but it very quiet. Staff is very prevenant and available for you, the rooms are very correct for the the price they are proposing.
