It's one of the newest hotels at Tagbilaran City, so amenities are new. Ambiance and design are modern and chic. All staff were very attentive to our needs. Service was fast: a minute you hang up the phone, the next they're already outside your door, lol. Prices were fair, if not cheap from a tourist's point of view. Best thing is it's just 5 or so minutes away from Island City Mall and the airport.

The Hotel is new. Great room facilities, just wish that they have bidet in the toilet but it's not a problem to us. bed is comfy and air conditioning unit is good. i am surprise that the room we booked has its own terrace. the very best part is that the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices and tastes good. my 3yr old toddler loves to watch in their Smart T...The Hotel is new. It's in the middle of all the attractions (must see) in Bohol. Panglao is a 40 minute drive and Chocolate Hills about an hour. Just 5 minute walk to the nearest public market and supermarket. The hotel is 5 minute drive to the airport and the Tagbilaran Port can be seen right scross the bay. It was AMAZING, the staff was SO accommodating. Our ferry kept getting cancelled due to the typhoon, so for four days in a row they were able to rebook us. They had their 3 year anniversary party and invited us to partake in dinner, drinks, and karaoke. They offer breakfast with the room purchase which can be delivered to your room in the mornings! I would certainly recommend this hotel for staying in Tagbilaran.

The rooms were clean but the furnishings appeared to be quite dated. We encountered some small cockroaches in the bathroom and cabinet of one of the rooms (staff were quick to spray them). The floors are timber so heavy footsteps in the hallway can easily be heard, which started early each morninng. Location is quiet but not walking distance to anywhere (about a ten min tricycle ride to the nearest mall, although we preferred the larger Island City mall). The staff of the Best Grand Suites were exceptionally friendly and helpful - they always made us feel very welcome and they were responsive to all our questions & needs. Their free shuttle service to and from the port was also gteatly appreciated. Breakfast (selected from a menu) was both generous and delicious. In summary, we enjoyed our stay and we would be happy to return. Thank you everyone!

We loved staying here during our 3 days exploring the island. We rented a moterbike and traveled to the Chocolate hills, Corella (Tarsiers), Loboc (river tour) and cruising to the churches. The hotel staff helped me rent my moterbike (and even helped me warm up the engine the second morning we stayed there!) The internet works in the rooms which were lovely. Clean bathrooms. The breakfast in the morning was decent enough to enjoy all three days - and it's free! Tough to beat that. Would for sure stay here again and would recommend it to anyone interested in touring the countryside themselves without hiring a driver (totally easy to do and way more fun!)

I am very very satisfied with my stay here, considering the very ugly hotels and inns of the same price. It's also a five minute walk away from the biggest mall in Bohol, Island City Mall or more commonly referred to as ICM. I will definitely book this hotel again!

On the day of my departure from Manila I've finally decided to take the Slim Pension House because I know I will be having a private bathroom contrary to the other one which has a shared bathroom. Checking-in was so easy and the staff where very helpful carrying my luggage to my room. Upon seeing my room at first I'm not surprise with it, just as expected for a budget hotel however, it was a little bit spacious though. The aircon was good, the cabinets was ok but I saw some cab webs inside so I've decided not to put my things in there, their TV's small but it has cable which is good because I can watch my favorite tv program, Wifi is good and I can access it easily in my room, bathroom have enough space but there's no warm shower, so I need to turn off the aircon prior taking a bath so I would not be shivering after. The staffs were very friendly and I was so thankful with them because they give me very helpful information and advise regarding directions and transportation and they were so nice to answer all my inquiries. I was only bothered with the ants on the bed sheets when I arrived and I've asked them to change it though but ants were still there after putting the new one so I already mastered smashing the ants through my entire stay there. Probably they could do something about it like hiring a pest control. The best thing about this pension house is the location because it was very accessible, 3 malls are near and the church is a walking distance, there's a drug store nearby and transportation were every were.

We choose the Chriscentville Hotel at this time because there was no electricity after the earthquake in Bohol. This was the only Hotel with an 24 H generator. The Hotel Price was very Cheap so we didnt expect much. You have to book a Executive Room to be able to look out the Window. Lower Categories dont have any Windows. The Hotel has no Elevator which was no porblem because we had the 1st Floor and the Housekeeping stuff was extremly helpfull. By the Way there is a free shuttle Service to the Port and Airport from 07:30 - 18:00 I believe. We used it to the Port as we took the Ferry. Everything was very good organized.
