B Resort and Spa located in Disney Springs Resort Area

"If the price for the stay was what I had booked on Agoda, it would have been great, but to arrive at the hotel and be informed there that there was the added (and hated) resort fee along with a $16 per day parking fee, was a shock. The housekeeping staff seemed to show up way too early for our schedule, even with the Do Not Disturb sign displayed, but seemed willing to come back later. On the plus side, we were about 4 blocks from Downtown Disney, it was easy access to the interstates. The hotel was clean and the rooms were modern with top brand toiletries, a great view and large flat screen TV. The pool was wonderful. Lots of deck chairs with pool towels at the chairs. Fountains in the pool. My daughter had a wonderful time in the water. Would consider the hotel again, but would also weigh in the Resort and parking fees next time."

"This is a great place to stay if you have young children. It's been recently renovated and while there were some small annoyances (bathroom faucet aerator needed changing, and carts rolling thru halls were noisy), they were nothing compared to the fun you will have. There are two pools. One is a large lagoon like pool with a big rock/waterfall feature and a zero entry water play ground. There two areas with steps for kids to play or adults to sit and they are spacious. The deepest water depth is approx 1 M. The other pool is an adult pool with no water features and it's deeper. There is a spa, but we didn't use it. There were plenty of chaise lounges and also some cabanas for rent. Additionally, there was a vendor with inflated pool toys for sale/rent. There is a full bar and some food service. We ate at the restaurant and it was surprisingly good. The hotel has bus service to Disney parks which is very convenient. Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney) is a short walk and there are plenty of restaurants and shops and even a few small rides for the kids. If you're going to be doing the parks and don't want a pool, stay somewhere else/cheaper. Our stay was for three days, Fri to Sun. We spent Fri at the Magic Kingdom and Sat/Sun at the pool. It was a great mini-vacay! The kids want to move here. "

"We had a great time at the hotel, a few minor things... at the end of our stay we weee told we needed to pay a resort fee and parking fee. The resort fee I guess is understandable even though if your already paying for the hotel, the hotel amenities should be included you should have to pay additional for using the pool or w.e else the resort fee covers (not explained) also parking was more or less $25/day (self parking not vallet) which is Parking is not an optional thing if I’m staying in your hotel I need to park my car the fact that you charge for parking was ridiculous. That’s like taking your car to a mechanic and when he quotes you a price to fix the car he then tells you “well you have to pay for the tools I need to buy to fix your car too”. I can understand if I choose to valet park my car I’m choosing to pay to have the luxury (laziness) of someone else parking my car but if I’m staying at your hotel it needs to be included. Also the Peking was like 2 blocks from the hotel"

"After researching Orlando hotels for over 2 weeks, I finally decided on this hotel. I am so pleased with my selection and rate the hotel 5 out of 5 for the following reasons: 1) The hotel was renovated relatively recently and still has a brand new feel to it. Further, it is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. 2) The staff (receptionists, housekeeping, breakfast servers, valet parking attendants, etc.) are exceptionally good at looking after customers and are polite, friendly, and helpful. Hats off to the manager or others that trained them so well and help keep standards so high. 3) The hotel is on Disney property yet costs so much lower than the Disney owned properties. One also gets 60 days access to Disney's FastPass Plus for reserving rides (Vs. the standard 30 days) and the hotel offers convenient bus-shuttles to the Disney theme parks every half an hour. 4) The hotel has a gym, pool, and hot tub; many rooms have balconies overlooking the pool area so you feel serene. Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort
Disney Downtown Lake Buena Vista,Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park - View on map
"This place suggests that 8 adults can sleep in a 2 BR which they cannot as 2 of the beds are small full sized beds and couldn't sleep 2 adults in them. The service was terrible from check in to check out. They are not focused on customer service as their top priority. One example is as I was booking my park tickets, the staff member admittedly was emailing instead of booking my tickets. The staff at the desk was training someone new. Instead of taking 'some' of my check in time to train, they took all of it leaving me at the desk for nearly 30 minutes (to check in??) The list goes on. The services stinks. The place is beautiful!! "Pros: Location and cleanliness. We also left my 7 year olds stuffed animal behind. They have a great system to collect left items and ship them back to you. Cons: I don’t like having to pay an extra $15 for parking and $30 for a resort fee. I know most hotels in the area do this, but I find it annoying. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. "

Walt Disney World Swan
Disney Downtown Lake Buena Vista,Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park - View on map
"Have stayed in a number of the Disney themed hotels and although the Swan wasn’t as elaborate and Disney orientated as the official Disney ones, we preferred this one as it was walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios and the bus transportation to the other parks was brilliant and very reliable , we stayed there for a week and didn’t use the monorail once after our awful journey one night the week before when visiting . It was grossly overcrowded and took an eternity to get back to the car park from Magic Kingdom after the fireworks . Would definitely stay there again as we have done the hotels with the characters and after all we only slept at the hotel as we were off each morning early and back late. The only thing I would say we were disappointed with is the $30 a day service fee on the room and along with the $25 a day parking this bumped our budget up another $55 a day that was without that food and drink which we found quite expensive in all the hotels and parks ."
