It is very near airport so if staying here, taxi fare from airport only cost you about 5, 000 Korean won. Although the location is in new downtown Jeju, with dedicated staff help and info , i managed to just short walk to nearest bus stop , and take local bus (no. 365) to either go to Dongmun Market and on my way return to airport. Multiple 24 hours convenient shops is with walking distance and few Korean restaurant to eat grilled mackerel or seaweed soup fish. Another advantage , room is quite spacious and good price value. If you plan to travel light, there is few self laundry shop to clean up your used clothes. This hotel also is the first bus pick up with you are pre-book YEHA bus tour and the tour bus will drop you off nearby once you have completed the daily tours. Perfect for single or couple traveller. Wise money spent to stay here. Good English speaking staffs are very happy to help anytime of the day if you need informations, recommendations and guidance for your Jeju trip.

Booked 3 family rooms for 3 nights for 7 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. It was a good stay. We love the size of the room, with sea view. Their beds are very comfortable. It is just beside the sashimi street. There is macdonalds behind our hotel, which was good for kids during our stay as they do not take sashimi/bbq pork. It is also near to black pork street, dongmun market, underground shopping and their shopping district. They were thoughtful enough to arrange a room without bath tub for the room with infant kid, probably thinking it would be safer when showering for the baby. The other two rooms given were rooms with bathtub. The hotel is very new. One downside will be the sensor alarm for the rooms and the door lock. Two out of three rooms allocated had very sensitive sensors. Apparently the room door alarm will ring for 10seconds each time we close the door, which can be quite loud and we were afraid we might disturb other people when leaving for early day/flight and when the kids move in between rooms to find their parents. And for the door lock, one of the rooms internal lock is not working. But it is not much of worry since people cannot open from outside, unless you have the card. All in all, it was a good stay

The Howard Johnson was perfect for our trip to Jeju Island. Many reviews say to stay in Seogwipo-si if you’re on the island for multiple days but we opted to stay in Jeju-si for 4 days and 3 nights. The Howard Johnson is incredibly close to the airport and easy to get to via bus (download the Kakao app to get up-to-date bus information, Korea’s google maps essentially). The HJ is located in the new downtown area with many restaurants and the Lotte duty free mall within walking distance. The old downtown with Dongmun market is a short bus ride away. We took a day trip to Seogwipo, saw the main sites. While Seogwipo was beautiful, we found much more things to do in Jeju around the HJ. In terms of facilities, it is a newer hotel so everything looks new. The bed was comfortable and you can control your own AC. The TV was also a sleek newer LED LG TV. The hotel doesn’t have a gym or a pool, however, so plan for that. All around, great value and would stay again.

Wanted to stay at a quieter place away from Jeju city, but not too far away from the airport either. This is a new hotel, so gave it a try. Booked a deluxe room (double + single beds) with sea views. Room was located at a higher floor. It was spacious and the amenities were very new. Location wise, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel that goes to the city. However we didn't use it. Took a taxi whenever we wanted to go to the city, cost around SGD8-10 per trip. Most of the reception staff understood and spoke minimal English (only met 1 or 2 whom could speak really well). However, it would help if you could try to speak slower and do some research beforehand on the places that you wanted to visit. Despite the language barrier, they were still very helpful towards understanding my requests and helped to act as a translator between the taxi driver and us. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was an optional add-on. Quite expensive though the food quality was not bad. Limited dining options around the hotel. There is a fast food chain outlet (Lotteria) around 8mins walk away from the hotel. A fried chicken chain outlet (Nene chicken) just beside the hotel. A few convenience stores also located within walking distance from the hotel.

Hotel room was clean, conveniently located. Staff were friendly and could speak english. They were also able to provide directions to places that we wanted to visit. There is a bakery and convenient store located within the hotel. Within walking distance to many cafes, eateries, and dongmun market. Close to the airport too. Enjoyed my stay at Ocean suites, will definitely stay again.

Good hotel for travelers who are going outside instead of staying in the hotel. It has good location where a bus stop to airport is nearby. For shoppers, it’s close to Chilsungro Shopping Town, Jungang Underground Shopping Centre and Dongmun Market. Make use of the luggage storage service if you arrive too early for check in. Staff is nice to help. Keep the card for claiming baggage. FYI, There’s no Gym room and swimming pool inside hotel. (There is coin laundry yet I didn’t try it). Further, only one key card for one room is provided (requested but no additional card even for 2 people checked in). Also, there is shower gel, shampoo, towels, glasses and comb in toilet but not the toothbrush (so, bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste).

Stayed for 2 nights when we were in Jeju Island. Room is very clean, good decoration, clean bathroom, smell nice, and best service provided by the receptionist. When I book for the taxi tour in the morning, the owner of the hotel will all of his kindness help me to translate anything to the cab driver and he even recommend which place or route fo the tour. Truly from the bottom of my heart, I really appreciate his help and thousands thanks to him. Even when we're leaving from the December hotel to the Jeju Airport, the owner of the hotel help us call the taxi and help us brought our luggage to the cab. Gosh,,I couldnt say anything anymore for the best service that he provided. The other receptionist in the night shift help me with all his effort to tracked down for the small problems which we encounter during our trip. We thought we were overcharged when we were having lunch at a restaurant (it cost us 80,000 won for 5 person). After we came back from the tour at the night, I just asked to the guys in the receptionist if is it normal that it cost us that much for a lunch for 5 person. Then with all his effort, he tracked down over the phone for the taxi company, taxi driver, search for the restaurant in the internet then called the restaurant just to confirm about this. Thanks to you mr. Receptionist (i'm sorry i forget the name), you are the best. Surely i recommend you to stay here. I promise you wont be disappointed with this hotel and service. Five stars for this hotel :)

Nice hotel. Comfy rooms. Very close to a nice walking street with many shops and restaurants. Lively neighbourhood. One and only downside: For whatever reason, that was never explained. We had no control over the temperature of the room. We stayed in winter, and the room was like an oven. If being a baked potato is your thing, you'll love it. Wrap yourself up in foil and enjoy.. But neither of us could sleep in that heat. Sooo it was a long and crappy night for us both. The hotel staff was nice enough to bring a fan up to the room, so that we could enjoy a convection oven instead. Perhaps they have fixed this temperature problem. Maybe it was just in our room. I have no idea. Call ahead, and ask if you're going to be slow cooked all evening. If not... Book this place! It's lovely. Besides having an absolutely terrible time, we found the place quite lovely.

Hotel room interior is all new and clean. Interior design is classy. Facilities are good with nice shower, with water pressure is strong. Appreciate the amenity provided, Nice shower gel and shampoo smell. Room with balcony, and you can sit at the balcony enjoying the scenery. Location is good and recommended. Within walking distance to Black Port Street and Jeju Dongmun Market. Just our from the hotel, along the street is the sashimi street where you can find all the sashimi restaurant. Thus, no problem to hunt for food. Across the hotel is 7-11 and McDonalds is nearby too. Located by the sea and harbour, so you can get a good view of harbour and seaview. Once out from hotel, there is a big walkway along the sea coastline, thus definitely a good spot for sea lover. Staff is friendly and English speaking. No problem in communication. Overall, this hotel is recommended and worth the money for comfortable stay in Jeju Downtown.

The mountain view was really spectacular. Only 15 mins away from Jeju International. So close to Dongmun Market, Jungang-ro Underground, and other shopping streets. Not quite nice if you are looking for an actual beach get-away but well worth it if you just wanna explore the land and the city in the island. Will recommend for families who are not really looking for beach getaways which was us.

Pros: The hotel is located strategically near the shopping street of downtown Jeju. Loads of good restaurants around serving good food. The hotel manager is very helpful when we ask him for directions for restaurants nearby. He even walk out to make sure tt we did not walk the wrong direction. Cons: However, the counter staffs are not that helpful. For instance, we asked the hotel for assistance to book a cab to get to airport the following morning as we are afraid that it might be difficult to get a cab during the morning rush hour, but the hotel staff refused and asked us to go to the front to flag for a cab instead. In addition, the cleanliness of the hotel room needs to be improved as well. We book the room w jacczi, we reckoned that the jaccuzi may hv been left unused for some time. As a result when we turn on the motor, there were a lot of dirt and small insect flying out. Yucks!!! Other part of the room still consider clean.

My room was upgrade to the sea side of the hotel. The staff were very nice and got my bags for me. When I was hurt, the staff did all they could to help me. Didn't get any discounts really but the didn't charge me for the time I used the gym when I got hurt by faulty equipment, the rang to check up on me and I got a plate of free fruits. For such a nice hotel and the price I paid, I am a little surprised as to how all the facilities cost extra to use. Its very easy to rack up an expensive stay if you the facilities of the hotel but the rooms were nice and the lobby was large and classy.

We loved this hotel - the room was spacious & clean and bed were extremely comfortable. However, our toilet was choked on the first day of checking in. The plumber came within 5 mins and get the job done very fast and efficient. The breakfast was expensive but the restaurant sea view was spectacular. Next to the hotel was an E-mart (hyper supermarket type). In front of the hotel, you can find seafood restaurant that served nice abalone porridge, massage parlor and within 10-15 mins walking distance (taxi 2mins), you can explore restaurants that serves Black Pork Korean BBQ and their famous Dongmun Market.

Bus fare is KRW 1200. Take taxi is about KRW 5000-6000 . iv) Jeju Bus Terminal Interchange Can reach there with any buses in front of the hotel within 15 minutes. v) Baojian Street 15 minutes walk to Baojian Street. 2.Staff Friendly and helpful English and simple Chinese speaking staff . 3. Hairdryer, body and face towel and toiletries are provided. 4. Nearby shopping mall such Shilla Duty Free Shop and Lotte Duty free shop. The room is new and clean...

Location was great for catching a morning flight. There were alot of shops around the hotel where you could go about shopping for last minute items before you leave. Staffs tried their best to help you but I felt that there were a lack of staff as when we checked in there was only one guy at reception and he was helping several guests all by himself. I do salute him however as he really did do his best to accommodate to all the guests. Nevertheless, the hotel was super clean and rooms were really big for the price paid.

Hotel star overrated, I expected 4.5 star standard hotel, but Agoda overrated the hotel, I was disappointed. Rooms are really small, no tooth brush and tooth paste supplied. The electric sockets were out of order, possibly the fuse was burnt, no electricity supplied even you plug the electirc applicances into the sockets. We complained to hotel reception gentleman around 20:00, but his English was very poor, we have to explained him many times , finally he understood and agreed to send an electrican to the room to check and repair. When we came back around 23:00, the condition was the same! Nothing was repaired. The electrican came and use different water pot to plug onto the sockets, finally he realised the problem of the fuse and requested to give him more time to repair. How come we complained at 20:00 and nothing was repaired until midnight! My friend refused him to repair and requested reception to change the room immediately, the reception ignored their own fault and requested my friend to pay the extra for the upgrading the room! Of course my friend refused to pay the extra for the room. Finally the hotel agreed to upgrade the room free of charge in the midnight. Ramada is the international brand, I stayed in Ramada hotels in different countries, but this is the poorest Ramada hotel! I never stay in this Ramada Encore Jeju Yeon-dong hotel again.

I stayed for 3 nights in a comfortable double room. Lots of space for luggage and good size bathroom. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of convenience stores, places to eat and a great cafe right next door - About Coffee & Dessert. A taxi takes about 10 mins from the airport. I would recommend paying for the breakfast here, as it is reasonably priced with a decent delicious selection of food. The staff were all friendly, spoke English and were very helpful.

There are plenty of restaurants, shops, and convenient stores located within walking distance to the hotel, which is a plus. Hotel staffs speak English and Chinese, so communication was a breeze. Looked like a number of chinese speaking group tours seem to prefer staying at this hotel, as we had seen a couple of chinese-speaking groups throughout our stay here. The room was clean and big, with our room windows overlooking a garden located at the back, which was a nice view in the snowy winter. :) We asked for a double non-smoking room, but due to unavailability, they gave us a room with a semi-double bed and a single bed, which as a more-than-adequate upgrade for us. :) Breakfast is pretty expensive if your package doesn't already include it, but with the amount of choices available around the hotel, it wasn't a bother for us. Hotel is situated about 7 - 10mins from the airport, and the drop-off point is just by the main road adjacent to the hotel. The main road has several buses for traveling around too, if you know the way. Overall, would recommend this hotel! :)

The location was why we booked this place. Near to the airport, bus terminal and eateries. Going to the airport was the only time we used the cab and it only cost us 4800 won . The staffs were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beds were made everyday. There's a small convenient store on the ground level. The downside of this hotel is that they only give 1 room key ( I Guess it's a Korean thing) and to enter the gym, you need to pay a certain fee. Toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided. Toilet lack of racks. Overall, would definitely come back again.

It has whatever you will need for a place to sleep overnight. Staffs cant speak much english and one of them made us wait almost 30minutes for check in without even a sorry for his inefficiency. Parking space right in front of the lobby is small and can at most accommodate 15 cars. Do not, however, turn in into the multi storey carpark right opposite the hotel as you would need to pay for it. Get the hotel staff to advise on alternative free parking sites very nearby.

the hotel is very basic,room for families is not that big but it has 2double bed so its good for 4 person. check in and check out process was very easy. the hotel located near a great seaside and very near to the airport. 5km from dongmun market and 7km from the aport. its very convenient as we stay here in our last 2days in jeju, we're not rushing to go to the airport.it take about 10minutes to go there.

First of all, it is a great stay experience at this hotel. It is not very far from airport if you really knows where is it. I had a hard time finding it and the bus driver even took us to the wrong place even after showing him the address. Most of them not even know where is it. We finally got there by taxi, but the taxi driver also need to discuss with his colleague through phone for a while. The staffs are very helpful. Once ask them a question through hotel phone but they didn't understand, one of the staff straight away approach at our room immediately for further clarification. And the best part is helping us to make calls e.g. booking a rental car... The room is big with comfortable & clean bed. Eventhough it stated that the max guests to stay in the room is 2 but they allow 3 of us to stay in. Furthermore, they provide extra bed with blanket without further charges. Really thumbs up!!! There is a small parking lot just in the hotel, so it save us alot of time from finding a place to park our rental car. In short, it is a worthwhile stay in this hotel and would recommend for others who would like a nice, clean, cheap place to stay.

immediately shocked by the greeting/opening of the Hotel door upon our arrival by an employee who greeted us with a friendly, welcoming smile. Check-in was quick and easy. the rooms were very clean and comfortable. the bathroom in our Superior twin room was a bit cramped but wasn't bad. the hotel was easy to find and very accessible. the concierge was incredible, helping me find what i was looking for in Jeju at all hours of the day, even booking a large taxi van for our group of 5. a few complaints would be regarding the Air Conditioning in the room. upon arriving in the room an attendant came to check the AC. we left it on to cool the room off while heading out for a few hours only to come back to a warm stuffy room. the phone connection to the front desk didn't work so we physically had to go down ourselves to ask for help and a phone call was made instantly. however the temperature in our room didn't change and if you weren't sitting in front of the window you were sweating. we left the window open overnight risking mosquitos coming in because there were no screens on the windows, but it was better than sweating to death. one other complaint would be about the casino, we very much enjoyed it the first night but upon returning the second day for some play they didn't open upon stated time 5pm and after waiting 30 mins, we left along with multiple other foreigners who we later saw jump in a taxi to another casino. the blackjack was great though, just wished they opened on time. check out was easy and the concierge held our luggage all day until our flights that evening.
