Lovely hotel large room and bathroom unfortunately they stop serving food at 10pm just as we arrived back from seeing the artist at the nearby Apollo venue the bar was filled with people wanting something to eat, we had a drink and went to our room to use the expensive 24hr room service only to find again we could not order as kitchen had closed but a cold sandwich was...Lovely hotel large room and bathroom unfortunately they stop serving food at 10pm just as we arrived back from seeing the artist at the nearby Apollo venue the bar was filled with people wanting something to eat, we had a drink and went to our room to use the expensive 24hr room service only to find again we could not order as kitchen had closed but a cold sandwich was offered which was not what we wanted and a menu with a selection of meals on offer for 24h should not be offered if not actually available we then sent out for a takeaway. Also when I booked I thought it was b&b only to be told as we arrived at breakfast we had to pay for breakfast which was £18 each and with the overnight car park at an extra £20 made this an expensive overnight stay. The prices should be more clearly indicated on the wed sites they advertise on just to say car parking indicates included as no price shown. The staff could not be more helpful and the hotel was in a good location for us.

On arrival the hotel looked beautiful. The lady at the desk was super friendly and couldn't be more helpful, she assisted with a slight issue with my request from when I booked brilliantly. The room we chose was beautiful, very clean, and had tea and coffee facilities. The area was quiet, but a short walk away was a couple of nice local pubs. The room we chose was beautiful, very clean, and had tea and coffee facilities. The area was quiet, but a short walk away was a couple of nice local pubs. The breakfast in the morning was beautiful and the staff were again very helpful at getting a table and tea and coffee for us. The dining room and lounge areas were clean and tidy, and well decorated. I couldn't fault this place atall. 100% consider going back if I went to Manchester again. And i fully recommend the hotel, the staff, and the food. Really enjoyed my stay.

Booked this hotel due to its very reasonable price. Arrived earlier than anticipated it was no issue. The room was clean and provided everything we needed. Breakfast included in the price which was great as that doesn’t happen often and it was satisfactory especially given it was included at no extra charge. I found the Crowne Plaza Manchester, Oxford street, in every respect excellent. However, there are some minor issues that could be improved: - The breakfast could have more variety. - The restaurant could have a bigger menu. Very basic, with shared (but clean) toilets, but among the cheapest places I could find, for the date I stayed. The duvet was too narrow, but tucking the bedspread in, all around the bed, sealed it in place. The Chinese lady at reception was very pleasant, but the main benefit was the flexible check-out option - £8 an hour after the normal check-out time of 11am. After a very late night, being able to check out at 1.30pm was a godsend and the extra £24 seemed very reasonable. A few mins walk to Rusholme curry district, around 20mins walk to the University on Oxford Road, with loads of buses 2mins walk from the hotel that go down Oxford Road and into town or Piccadilly.
