We came to Candeo after spending time at a nearby hotel called Sotetsy Fresa Inn, which was horrible. Candeo Hotel was a blessing with bigger comfortable rooms for the same price. It had a great lobby and eating area to relax in. Wifi was blazing fast. And the best thing about the hotel... They had one of the best and most relaxing luxury spas that is both inside and outside on the roof. And the location is perfect. If you can book a room here, then it's highly recommended.

We stayed here for 11 nights and had 3 incidents: 1. housekeeping was not done for 1 day. when we checked with the reception, the housekeeper was adamant that it was because we had pasted the ‘no cleaning required’ sign. we did not. the housekeeper could have mixed up the sign pasted on other rooms but instead of accepting that possibility, the front reception kept insisting it was definitely not an oversight of the housekeeper but our mistake. appalling service. 2. the hotel provides for 2 small bottles of water which are topped up daily. we requested for an additional bottle of water on a particular as we have ran out of it and my boyfriend needed some water to take his medication. the hotel refused, stating that maximum number of bottles for each room is 2 daily regardless of circumstances and situations. they said they will provide for 2 bottles daily without fail, and nothing beyond that. a strange and inflexible rule comparing to hotels in our home country but we accepted it and went out in the cold to get a bottle from a nearby convenience store. 3. The hotel forgot to top up 2 water bottles. for 1 of the days. we would have let this oversight slide if this didnt happen right after their refusal to provide an additional bottle in incident #2. aside from lapses in service, the hotel is in a very convenient location, 2 mins walk from the subway exit. it is also located at the less seedy side of Roppongi. the room was small but expected.

The hotel location is fantastic. Room is small, but they have made very good use of space. The best part is all the amenities. We stayed for 5 nights, and having these amenities - like a variety of toiletries, night clothes etc. - makes a huge difference. However, I want to warn future guests that although the hotel advertises free WiFi, this is incorrect and misleading. Of the 5 nights we stayed here, we did not have WiFi for two night. When we complained to the staff we were told the WiFi is 'busy' and they pointed us to a nearby location where we can go to buy WiFi/data. I am a frequent traveler, and I have never experienced this at a business hotel - no WiFi, no explanation for why no WiFi (it seems it's a common occurrence), and no effort on the part of the staff to fix the problem. If I had known this earlier I wouldv'e made alternative arrangements. But pointing me to a shop where I can by my own portable WiFi on my last 2 days is not a solution :(

The run of the house room is extremely samll. Do not book this room for 2 even if it states you may.Consider an upgrade. The staff is very gracious and if they do not understand you, they are prompt in locating someone who can. They will ship your luggage to the airport to meet you for a small fee, so this is a great benefit. We got an upgrade to a beautiful room. They charge for internet service, so your best deal is to pay by the day for 1,500 yen per day rather than by the minute which is much higher.

i'll start by saying that i didn't have really high expectations for this hotel. i read a lot of the reviews after my company booked my business trip and informed me that i'd be staying at the good hotel. here are the bullet points: room size: other reviewers seemed to complain a bit about the rooms being dark. they are, but the size is more than adequate. smaller than most standard chain hotels, but did not feel cramped. service: the staff seemed to be nice enough, but i did not hear any awful answer to the things that are not functional at the good hotel. i stayed only four nights. the lobby was ok. value/location: this is where the good hotel earns the three-four stars. for what you pay, which typically isn't much, you get enough and you're in an incredible location right in the middle of downtown tokyo. last thing i'll say is that i got the impression that others did about breakfast. i did see a lot of people enjoyed their meal at the hotel.

A great hotel with excellent facilities - a very decent gym with a good sized swimming pool. Staff at the hotel were very helpful - We visited during the Sakura season, and concierge was most helpful in pointing out the best places to go for this seasonal attraction, along with making recommendations for food and reservations to our chosen places. There's no shortage of good food options near the hotel, and even a convenience store across the street, along with a medicine shop located closeby. The hotel is also located near a train stop. Highly recommended!

This hotel is new, and is located in the financial/nightlife-&-entertainment district. We chose this hotel because it was closest to the train station. As a westerner, I could not assign this hotel anything but a neutral rating on the "Value for the money, " nor could I recommend it because the size of the room is literally that of a full size van: 15 feet by 7 feet. [My van is longer by about 2 feet.] The room is literally cramped. The one curios thing was the largest flat screen TV I have seen in a hotel room - it took up almost half of one wall. Curiosity indeed, considering there were only 10 "free" [read as worhtless] channels. Regardless, if there is one thing that I would consider worthwhile in this room would be the bathroom. It's what I always imagined Inspector Gadget's own bathroom would be like. My bottom never felt so important, and so clean, and all I had to do was push buttons!!! Small wonder my son took forever in THIS bathroom. I bet he was trying out all the buttons for a complete experience.

My experience here was excellent. The location was great, the staff was friendly, and the room was clean. The breakfast was decent. And all things considered, I think the cost was fair too. LOCATION: The hotel is in a central location to most parts of the city, which is great for general sightseeing purposes and probably just fine if you're there for business as well. It's a five minute walk to the Aoyama Itchome Station. If coming from Tokyo Station, take the Metro Marunouchi Line to Akasakamitsuke and transfer to the Metro Ginza Line, which will take you to Aoyama Itchome. Lastly, I really liked the neighborhood surrounding the hotel. I didn't really explore it, but it felt like a pretty nice area, and I can see that as a plus for families that are considering going here. HOTEL STAFF: The staff was fantastic, just like the other reviews had stated. Much of the hotel staff could speak English well, but I was most impressed that they always seemed genuine. I felt like when they said good morning they were really sincere--not just saying it because they had to do so. ROOMS: When booking a room, you will have to choose between the "annex building" or "new building", but they are actually in the same physical building. The difference is the annex rooms are older, the new rooms are newer. I stayed in one of the older rooms and I didn't have any problems. When I booked I made a note emphasizing that i wanted a smoke-free room, and happily that's exactly what I got. The room size was good and the bathroom size/setup was very standard, relative to average hotels in Japan. The bed wasn't amazing but it was just fine for me. Unless your picky and/or are going for a special occasion with your significant other, I would recommend booking the cheaper annex rooms, based on my experience. Lastly, a great feature in the room was a mini-fridge which could be used for your own foods/drinks. *I copied my review from Trip Advisor*

The B Tokyo Roppongi gives great value for money considering its good location with close proximity to the subway station, restaurants, commercial establishments, and a big Don Quijote around the corner. The front desk staff were very helpful and I'd like to commend An Jung, Saki, and Saori for helping us out from booking and check-in to the duration of our stay and check-out. We got two superior C rooms and were satisfied with the space and layout. Wifi was a bit spotty during the initial several days of our stay but was addressed after we informed the hotel staff of the problem. Housekeeping was scarce but understandable since they were on a skeleton staff because of Golden Week. The B is highly recommended if you don't want to spend so much on a hotel. Being close to restaurants such as MOS Burger, Shake Shack, Ippudo, and many Italian pizza and pasta places is a welcome bonus! For us Catholic Filipinos, a Church is just across the main road.

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel and I’m globally very satisfied. The room (semi-double) was clean, quiet and very well equipped, the bed comfortable, the bathroom big enough with basic products on display, the personal very nice and ready to help. If you don’t expect a view or a fine breakfast (here you can nevertheless grab a banana, a piece of bread, some butter and jam, coffee and tea to your room) it is the perfect place. The location is excellent. The personal doesn’t really speak English but they really did their best to understand with a digital translator and answered my demands. If you are a smoker there is a tiny smoking room downstairs. For the current price I think it is a good deal in Tokyo (about 100€/night).
