->Budget wise this hotel is cheaper than most of five star hotels in Makati and provide a better amenities and services -> the location is perfectly accessible to all important establishment such as embassy, malls, different variety of restaurants and also its not hard to find a money-changer which is the most important for a tourist visitor. -> cleanliness is not a p...

We stayed on and off in this hotel for the last 3 weeks between our trips around the country when we got back to Manila this is the hotel we stayed at. When we had first arrived in the Philippines we had stayed at a different hotel for 2 days which didn't even come close to the standards of the Antel Best Western Hotel. We reserved the 1 bedroom mini suite The r...

I stayed at the Dusit due to the area it was located in. Locatin is important to me for I have traveled to the Philippines before and wanted to stay near an upscale area this time. Usually the Manila Penn and Shangala is where I want to stay in the same area but the cost have skiyrocketed and it is not worth the stay. The location of the Dusit Thani is in the same a...

We went for a city adventure trip with my husband last September 7, 2012. We were looking for a good place to crash that is safe and convenient. We found this really affordable hotel in Agoda.com that is located in Makati, and decided to book a room for 2 nights. The hotel is really easy to find. You can ride a taxi from the airport for 160php (less traffic), or you ca...

My first time in Philippines and i was so glad i choose this hotel. Because it is new, the cleanliness was the best, the hotel was located in just the best spot of the entire street, the room layout was fantastic, toilet was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The front office staff, bell boys were extremely professional and friendly. Everything was perfect...

Excellent facilities. Outstanding staff and service. Picture perfect amenities. Fabulous location directly across the street from Greenbelt Mall, and walking distance to most all other Makati primary malls. Terrific number of restaurants nearby, Elberts Steakhouse being my favorite. The on-demand car service is always available, always efficient, and makes commu...

You can stay at the Shangri La and pay a lot more money, and you can enjoy the aging plumbing and lights in your room. Or you can stay at the Peninsula, and enjoy being treated as a visiting family member. The location is as good as you can have in Makati. The hotel is across the street from everything. The stock exchange, the beautiful park, all the malls, Glorietta, ...

Often coming to Makati for business, and being explorative by nature, I often try to make new finds in the continuously changing accommodation of the worlds capitals. One such deviation from my chain of regular crash-pads was my visit to the The Picasso in Makati. Due to connectivity issues enroute from the airport I had failed to make a booking in advance, so I arriv...

My partner and I have never been to the philippenes and foolishly booked a cheap hostel in Malate last minute before landing in Manila. To our suprise our hostel was in the middle of a very scary area, we felt unsafe the whole time so decided to upgrade to a better area and better accomodation. We booked the Eurotel Makati and we were so happy. it is a very big hotel, ...

I stayed a week a the St. Giles and, found it to be a nice hotel for the money, but not a 4 star hotel as some sites have rated it. The PROS of the hotel are that it is a new, clean hotel, with a great staff and a good location. It is easy to get a taxi, a variety of entertainment (not just the go-go bars, actually a couple of Manila's top nightclubs are footsteps away...

I stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms on this trip and I was not diappointed, the rooms are always clean and tidy and furnishings are usually of good quality but this one was exceptionally good. Rooftop pool was clean as always and the staff are all well trained and conscientious. Makati location is right in the middle of the nightlife, probably not the best ...

I had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Makati over the weekend. The room was fantastic as it was very clean and very modern. The bed was so comfy and I loved the option of having a soft or firm pillow! However, I booked a smoking room, but upon check-in, the room wasn't even ready yet (and I had even arrived later than expected), so I had to be put in another room t...

It is hard to know where to begin with this review. Let me just start by stating that my stay here was the best experience of my life. This hotel is simply magnificent. The staff were friendly, attentive, helpful, well trained, and polite. The food was spectacular and the food was outstanding. The 5th floor swimming pool overlooking the city was amazing. Celebrities se...

Our stay at the Y2 Residence Hotel was fantastic. I travel to Manila for different occasions and most of the time I travel with my wife and child. We have a helper that travels with us as well. Previously I would book 2 hotel rooms per night when we travel. I found Y2 Residence Hotel interesting because they offer a 2 bedroom unit in a single room. This 2 bedroom ...

This was my first time staying in City Garden Hotel. Check in was quick, except that the smoking room i requested for was unavailable, so i had to wait, but nevertheless the hotel manage to get me the room before 2pm. Staff was responsive n friendly, everything that i requested for was attended to immediately. Location of the hotel was excellent, right in the middle o...

One of the best things is the location. Very convenient central location with places within easy walking distance (like good restaurants). A bit strange though is the sight of multiple ambulances beside the hotel itself. Also, I'm a bit disappointed by the fake flowers at the lobby and this strange half-cover (almost like blinds) on the front glass entrance. Otherwis...

Currently here at Charterhouse. I booked their Superior Room. It's big and clean. Looks new. The location of the place is nice. Just a few steps away from Greenbelt Mall. The food is simple but tastes good. There's a 7-11 downstairs, so that's a plus. Restaurants are scattered around the area so you won't go hungry. My baby loved the place. Cons: They don't have the...

It was one of the best experiences of our family's vacation stay in the Philippines. The staff especially the team of Marisol was excellent, they didn't treat us as customers but as part of their family. They were very respectful and polite and always had smiles on their faces. The location is a big part of our best ever experience in the Philippines too because if you...

It was awesome! The best hotel that I've stayed in through the Agoda app so far! I've reserved a Studio One-Bed room, but it was upgraded to a 1-Bedroom Premium WITH NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! I mean, I know this is just my luck, and it may not happen again, but then again, the fact that they do such upgrading really speaks a lot about how they value their customers! The ro...

At first I had reservations when I first booked my first night here. Usually, when I picked where to have my staycation I always looked at reviews first. However, they don't have reviews yet in Agoda or Traveloka or in their website. Then, I learned that it was newly built and just opened this month. I originally planned to stay for a night just to see if its really w...

This was one of the cheaper options in Makati, right in the heart of the Greenbelt area. As a solo female traveller, the area felt very safe compared to other parts of Makati I've stayed at. The deluxe suite I booked was very spacious and apart from some water damage on one wall of the room, it was clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and attentive -...

The location of the hotel is excellent. Right beside all the shopping and 5 mins walking distance to Glorietta Mall, Green Belt, etc. Its also nearer to the airport than hotels in Makati Ave, so taxi fare can be negotiated down to 200-250p.. its rare that you find an honest taxi driver willing to go by the meter. Staff were efficient and helpful and because the hot...

I have booked Guijo Suites way back in March for a stay in July. There were not too many comments for Guijo Situes. My friends advised me that the location is good for Makati, so I did decide to book the hotel, as the deal was just very affordable for our 3 nights in Manila. A week prior to my flights I have checked and reviewed the comments of guests who stayed be...

The staff is the best! So accommodating and nice! I love this place! The only complaint was when I accidentally picked the deluxe classic instead of the deluxe deluxe room. The main manager refused to give me a refund and we couldn't stay in the room because nothing was working. Wifi, phone, very noisy. The Deluxe Deluxe are super nic and the best but avoid the Deluxe C...

Bed, pillows and linen are comparable to a five star hotel. Towels are soft too. The lay out of the unit is very functional. Complimentary bottled water are good and hopefully a tea or a coffee would be a nice addition too. Though there are some 24 hrs convenient stores nearby sometimes after a hectic day, a hot cup of tea before bed is the best way to end your day.

Pros: Close to mall, karaoke bar, best food places surrounding accomodation, spa's that are cheap etc. Staff was very friendly and we got served breakfast in bed every morning. Cons: Had a bit of a struggle with the hot water but figured it out later. Since it is in a late night area there was a bit of noise every now and then (we were there over a weekend. Weekend=La...

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Hop Inn. Service was great. Room was clean. Bathroom was good. Best value for money. Location was a bit challenging since there is an island in the middle of the road, preventing your vehicle to do a direct left turn when coming from the Ayala side. There was also construction beside the hotel which was making all sorts of noise th...

The hotel was a good buy for someone who is just visiting the Republic of the Philipines (RP) for a short stay. The staff were very helpful with everything I asked of them. The WiFi for my lap top seemed expensive at 1000 pesos for 24 hours, but it turned out to be accumlative used hours so worked out fairly good. I still think all WiFi in hotels should be free for g...

Our expectations was shattered, literally, for it's price we kind of expected it just like the local hotels here in our place with the same cost. It was very clean, very safe, and best of all is it's proximity to the business centers and the likes. For us we had an appointment with an embassy which is just a walking distance from this hotel.

I was a bit hesitant at first especially when I cannot contact the number posted on the hotel website but decided to take the risk since we are just staying for 1 night. I booked a superior room without breakfast for $72 (inclusive of tax) via Agoda.com. A few minutes after receiving the booking confirmation, I got a call from One Greenbelt hotel confirming my booking...
