For most hotel they only give 2 bottled water but I'am hotel always add 4 bottles a day and replace the towels and bathrobes -> the staffs will always smile and great to their guest and do the extra mile for their effort specially the guy who lend me a lighter when I need it badly to smoke. Since my lighter got confiscated at the airport. So its a big thumbs up for the staffs All and all I will highly recommend I'm hotel for their excellent customer service. I wish all hotels are same standard as this hotel.

We reserved the 1 bedroom mini suite The room was great. Very clean, has all the amenities of small kitchenette, slippers, robes, toiletries, mini bar and safe. The living room has a flatscreen tv with many cable channels, a couch and coffee table. The bedroom has an extremely comfortable bed, another flatscreen tv. Each room has its own air-conditioning. The bathroom was modern and had hot water all the time. There's free wifi for each floor of the hotel. And the wifi worked very nicely in the rooms I must say. The room was cleaned and tidied every day. We also used their laundry service which was excellent and everything came back to us perfect and on hangers and folded. When we took our trips around the Philippines we were gone for 3-5 days at a time and they stored our luggage for us for free! Was very pleasantly surprised by that. We stayed in all 3 buildings of the Hotel. They are all OK but the Serenity Tower is the newest of the 3 buildings so I definitely recommend specifically asking for that building of the hotel when booking your room. The rooms are more modern in the Serenity.

I stayed at the Dusit due to the area it was located in. Locatin is important to me for I have traveled to the Philippines before and wanted to stay near an upscale area this time. Usually the Manila Penn and Shangala is where I want to stay in the same area but the cost have skiyrocketed and it is not worth the stay. Locatin is important to me for I have traveled to the Philippines before and wanted to stay near an upscale area this time. The location of the Dusit Thani is in the same area but there is construction going on accross the street to expand on the the Mall (Glorietta) It is home to the Hard Rock Cafe and other resturancts such as Outback and a few bars. Also near is the Greenbelt area that is home to many many many bars and resturants for more upscale crowd. All of these are walking distancee from the Dusit. Also from here a short cab ride to the International complex, Burgos and the and area called the New Resort, a new casino with a bar called the Republic in it. A very upscale crowd goes here. Anyway the rooms are always nice at teh Dusit and the service is good. Great location for the price if you do not mind a walk around the construction side to get to where you want to go. The price I am sure will go up once all this is completed due to the location.

We were looking for a good place to crash that is safe and convenient. We found this really affordable hotel in Agoda.com that is located in Makati, and decided to book a room for 2 nights. The hotel is really easy to find. You can ride a taxi from the airport for 160php (less traffic), or you can also ride a jeep and MRT, and pay less than 100php. Upon arriving at the hotel, you can immediately notice their extremely friendly and courteous staff. The hotel is new and very clean. The room is not that big, though it is enough to give you a very comfortable stay. Inside the room, you can have a queen sized bed or twin single beds, hair blower, air-conditioning, large flat-screen cable TV, nice hot and cold shower, safe box and an awesome view. The location is really safe if you’re fond of going out at night or grabbing a bottle of beer. There are many 24-hour fast food chains such as KFC and many more. It is also near to seven 11 shops and mini-stop convenient store. The only thing that the hotel needs to improve is the shower drainage, specifically in our room. But it would only take a liquid SOSA to fix it. BTW, the rate is different if you walk-in. I would highly recommend for you to book here at Agoda or through their website to receive an awesome rate. Over all, it was an awesome stay. We would definitely stay in this hotel again. It is indeed a 5-star hotel for a 1-star price.

My first time in Philippines and i was so glad i choose this hotel. Because it is new, the cleanliness was the best, the hotel was located in just the best spot of the entire street, the room layout was fantastic, toilet was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Although the greetings and friendliness was all so perfect, but the speed of the service was APPALLING! On one of the days, i had to wait 35 mins!!( yes 35 minutes!) for my breakfast to be served to me, and in that 35 mins, they took 20 mins to serve me a cup of tea. Truly disappointed with this as they are all so perfect in greeting and being friendly and professional but when it comes to the actual service, they are way way behind in standard. Be prepared to wait for at least 10 mins for everything and anything you request for. I would definitely choose to stay in this hotel again in a heartbeat but the only thing that would make reconsider is their service.

My wife and I often make it our meal for the evening as the charm of the lounge is comparable to a 5-star restaurant. In short, this is a 5-star hotel complete with the full package of security and services at below market price. This hotel is a must-stay for any traveler who is serious about 5-star amenities!

The wonderful people on the staff make every effort to do their services on your schedule, so you can enjoy your time uninterrupted. The staff at the Peninsula is by far the best asset. Every staff member makes an obvious effort to make the guest feel welcomed, appreciated, and cared for during their stay at the Peninsula. All the facilities are wonderful. The food is some of the best you can find in Makati, and and will be pleasing to all palates, no matter where you come from. The Peninsula hotel is my home in Manila. I have stayed at most of the better hotels in Makati, all of which are very good. I must say though, that the Peninsula makes me feel like I am home, and so comfortable and relaxed. My fiance and I sat outside the driveway at the entrance at 4 am, and sang songs to each other. It was quiet, peaceful, and though there were many security guards close by, they left us alone and allowed us our romantic moments. Thank you Peninsula staff !! You're all the best and most professional in the business.

Due to connectivity issues enroute from the airport I had failed to make a booking in advance, so I arrive without a booking, upon querying rates, I was informed that walk-in rates are no-where near as great deal as with the service-provider Agoda, so I was offered to use the hotel WIFI lounge to make a booking there. This was completed within 10 mins, with the service of the concierge to come to the lounge and ensure that I had successfully connected, and then offering passphrase for the WIFI. Upon completed booking my companion and I was offered chilled water bottles for refreshment, perfect... ! Having booked the Barcelona suite without breakfast, I was planning to spend a quiet evening in the room and then explore the menu of the co-located "Brasserie Boheme" throughout my visit, what a mistake... it all turned out good in the end, but not without a bit of torment. The room was amazing, and the staff among the best hotel staff I have ever encountered, the few minor shortcomings were quickly wiped away by the cordiality, friendliness and not least the professionalism of the staff in both the hotel and the brasserie. It turns out they were in the middle of updating their menu, and therefore weren't able to deliver a consistent and satisfying result, until the very last order I made (which due to the hassle I had been through during my stay, was offered complimentary). They are this week implementing the new menu, and promised to have it in place upon my return apr. a week from now. All was however forgiven due to the supreme quality of the last order (a Steak Pavarroti) and the service minded staff who made a lot of effort to compensate for the lack of consistency in the servings. To our suprise our hostel was in the middle of a very scary area, we felt unsafe the whole time so decided to upgrade to a better area and better accomodation. We booked the Eurotel Makati and we were so happy. it is a very big hotel, ...My partner and I have never been to the philippenes and foolishly booked a cheap hostel in Malate last minute before landing in Manila. To our suprise our hostel was in the middle of a very scary area, we felt unsafe the whole time so decided to upgrade to a better area and better accomodation. We booked the Eurotel Makati and we were so happy. it is a very big hotel, with proper security. The staff were wonderful, they even printed out our ferry tickets free of charge. The room was stunning, the only downfall is when having a shower it completely soaked the bathroom floor as the flooring wasn't on much of an angle for it to drain quickly down the plug. But that was honestly the only downfall. I'm not sure if the hotel is good in terms of location as we did not explore at all during our stay. We did feel alot safer than what we did in Malate though. woukd definately stay here again.

They are not suitable for a couple. The bathrooms, as well are uncomfortably tiny. The room was very bland and basic, no decorations, not even a clock. Internet is also not free. It costs 300 pesos a day. Having to pay for internet when many hotels offer it for free is a deal breaker. It also lacks the subtle touches of a 4 star hotel, such as robes and slippers, 4 pillows on the bed, and a refrigerator that is stocked, not empty. Even the lobby, especially when full, was very cramped for space. I would highly recommend this hotel for a traveler who does not need a lot of space, or thrills. I feel it is more a hotel for someone in town for a couple of days and will not be in their room much. The Deluxe rooms are around 27 sqm, so if you need more space, upgrade. The 4 star rating sets the bar a little too high for what this hotel actually is, a very good economy hotel at a great location. There is nothing wrong with that and if a traveler checks in with that in mind, they will not be disappointed, but if you are expecting a 4 star hotel, like the Marriott, then you will leave feeling something was lacking. Still, I was satisfied with my stay overall.

I stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms on this trip and I was not diappointed, the rooms are always clean and tidy and furnishings are usually of good quality but this one was exceptionally good. Rooftop pool was clean as always and the staff are all well trained and conscientious. Shopping malls and embassy district are all within a very short taxi ride so excellent for travellers. The hotel has it's own cars for airport transfers, though these are quite expensive and they will happily call you a metered cab.

This didn't really bother me too much, but it may bother other guests if it happens to them. Also, when I finally got the smoking room that was originally booked for me, the room smelled heavily of smoke. I understand that it is a smoking room, but it could do well to have the room thoroughly cleaned despite this fact, especially as I am a non-smoker but my partner is. Luckily it wasn't the bed that smelled, but I think it was the carpet, so maybe a quick steam clean before the guests are moved into it would be good. Anyway I gave the room a quick spray of perfume, and eventually the smell went away. Otherwise, despite my short stay at Holiday Inn, I was very impressed with the quality of the room and hotel. I have stayed at a few Holiday Inns around the world, and I have to say that Holiday Inn Makati is probably one of the nicest.

Celebrities seem to regularly visit the hotel. My story is unique. I needed to attend to business in Makati, and was going to stay at a typical 2-3 star hotel. However, I decided that this would be the perfect time to propose to my g/f, so I booked this hotel because she deserves the best. Even with these expectations, our stay was beyond my wildest dreams. Rey, the concierge, corresponded with me weeks prior to plan every aspect of my proposal. He and the rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic. He arranged an exclusive rooftop, sunset proposal, complete with a romantic 2 piece band, rose pedals and candles. The staff also videotaped the entire proposal - check it out on the hotel's facebook page :) Unbelievable. The amount of care they took to make this day perfect for her and I was phenomenal. I sent some pics of us prior to our stay, and they arranged to have one framed and waiting in our room with complimentary champagne, wine and chocolates. At our dinner at Spectrum afterwards, our menu had a picture of her and I in every page. Despite being busy with their typical rich and famous clientele, almost every staff member from bellboy to director came to congratulate us at some point. We felt like moviestars! the worst part of this hotel was leaving it. I wish we could have our wedding here, but it is an expensive world for a young couple. With that being said, my fiancee and I will always cherish our stay there, as I am sure that it will remain one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. Thanks again Fairmont/Raffles staff!

Previously I would book 2 hotel rooms per night when we travel. I found Y2 Residence Hotel interesting because they offer a 2 bedroom unit in a single room. This 2 bedroom ...Our stay at the Y2 Residence Hotel was fantastic. I travel to Manila for different occasions and most of the time I travel with my wife and child. We have a helper that travels with us as well. Previously I would book 2 hotel rooms per night when we travel. I found Y2 Residence Hotel interesting because they offer a 2 bedroom unit in a single room. This 2 bedroom unit also has a nice size living room, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. The best part of all this single room costs less then getting 2 separate hotel rooms per night, especially if you are planning to stay 3-4 nights. We were on the 16th floor and the view was amazing from our balcony which is also kid safe. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean and came with free shampoo, soap, slippers and dental gear...I am pretty picky about this because it shows that the hotel is well equipped and prepared for their guests. The hotel is close to the bar district of burgos if you want to do some night time partying and its a 100 peso taxi ride to GreenBelt Mall and surrounding areas. I very highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Makati.

Room size was perfect, and if there was any issue, it would be with the shower head. If only they could have a extended shower head instead of it being mounted onto the wall. But size of the bath tub was great, not to high, so easy to climb in n out of the bath tub ! Wanted to have a late check as my flight back was in the evening, but unfortunately the hotel was fully book on the day. Will definitely be back in City Garden, or may just try their other branch just across the road, City Garden Grand

The food is simple but tastes good. There's a 7-11 downstairs, so that's a plus. Restaurants are scattered around the area so you won't go hungry. My baby loved the place. Cons: They don't have their own parking space. Guests are asked to park at Greenbelt. There are some construction going on outside the hotel. We can hear it from our room. I wouldn't have minded it if they didnt start hammering at 7am. It woke my baby up. It's not the hotel's fault, it's just annoying. Good thing we're out of the room the whole day and just come back at night. Other than the few cons, all is good.

The location is a big part of our best ever experience in the Philippines too because if you need anything be it something to eat for lunch or dinner or craving for some sweet or snack or water and soaps all you need to do is go down the basement and cross to the Rockwell mall. The guys at the door too were very nice and friendly, they treat you like you are someone of importance or a celebrity, that' how good and respectful they were. We had some issues with our air conditioners and water heater but they took care of the problems right away. The cleanliness too was top notch, my son who is very picky about cleanliness couldn't find fault with the apartment. And lastly, we felt very secured and comfortable because of their strict system with the people coming in and out of the building. All I can say is keep up the good work and continue to serve your customers with great and friendly service. We will definitely come back to stay in your hotel and will recommend this to our friends and family.

And I can say that it exceeded my expectations. So i ended up extending my stay for another night. I can say that Everything is brand new. I love the ambience of the whole hotel itself. It got that zen vibe which is perfect for people who just want to relax and get a nice sleep. TV channels are limited but they have NETFLIX which is awesome. Breakfast is limited but its delicious and they can serve it to your room if you don't want to go down in the lobby to eat. Their lobby is so chick and very clean. I like the fresh indoor orchids they have in the lobby. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. I hope they continue their good service. The bathroom is very clean and towels are brand new. Although I hope they have hairdryer. Room is spacious and cool. Linens are clean and neat. Room ambience is good very zen type. I like the interior design although i hope they have a mini ref. The only downside I experienced was the hotel isn't completely finished yet. There is still construction going on at day time but the noise is bearable. Wifi connection in room is really fast. Well atleast at the time of my stay. I hope they will have a swimming pool soon. I think it will be a leverage against the 2 other Hotels in the area (Solace and Guijo) which I have been too. I would love to stay again and surely recommend to check this new hotel out. PS: Also, for you to check in, you just need PHP 1000 for deposit which is refundable after your stay.

This was one of the cheaper options in Makati, right in the heart of the Greenbelt area. As a solo female traveller, the area felt very safe compared to other parts of Makati I've stayed at. The deluxe suite I booked was very spacious and apart from some water damage on one wall of the room, it was clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and attentive - answering my requests very promptly and always with a smile. My room was at the front of the hotel facing the main road, but I didn't find it as noisy as some people have mentioned in other reviews. The best thing was the very short walk to Greenbelt, so getting home with lots of shopping or coming back late at night was no issue. The only thing that I didn't like were the weird sliding glass doors on the bathroom which don't close all the way, so you may not get all the privacy you need if you have friends visiting or staying over.

Staff were efficient and helpful and because the hotel is quite established, there's no problem getting to the hotel in a taxi. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. You have all the 5-star amenities at a 3-star price. Room service food was pretty good although 5-star priced, but i'd rather pay that than some other knockoff dishes at discount prices that do nothing for the appetite. In either case, you're within walking distance to many restaurants offering great variety of food. Hotel has a gym that wasn't as well equipped, but not many people using it so not a problem there. No pool unfortunately but i wasn't there to swim so it didn't bother me. Internet connection is available in-room and was included in my booking with Agoda, but the speed was rather slow and i could hardly get onto facebook games. There's a 24-hr convenience store 2 doors away on the left of the hotel where you can buy basic amenities, stock up your mini-bar fridge, etc, but don't expect to get things you'd normally get from a full-blown supermarket. Hawkers set up stall just outside the hotel at night and you get pretty good beef noodles for a very cheap price. If i'm going back to Manila, i'll definitely stay here again.

I got not scared, but I got the feeling that I should probably be aware.. Heading to Manila with a bit stomach ache, as having too of my cousins with me, german nationals never been in Asia before. As we arrived at the hotel, I was very much surprised and pleased by the ambience of the hotel. It is so elegant but yet cozy and very welcoming staff. The rooms were very clean, very nice and just perfect stuffed with the best of the best. You have all you need, and you are totally safe. My cousins stayed a level below.. and they have the same opinion of mine. So I am sharing their opinion as well. We felt very safe as security was around all the time. The staff very accomodating and smiling all the time. I have now found a place, where I will be staying anytime again when I come home to Manila. I just loved the stay, from the first very moment. You have all you need just around the corner. 3 minutes walk, you have a "SEVEN ELEVEN", "MC DO", "SHAKEY'S" just like everything is nearby.. so no need to worry about the location, even it is on a narrow street as commented before by others on here.. The location is safe, and we never felt unsafe at all! PERFECT PLACE AT THE PERFECT LOCATION!

The main manager refused to give me a refund and we couldn't stay in the room because nothing was working. Wifi,phone, very noisy. The Deluxe Deluxe are super nic and the best but avoid the Deluxe C...The staff is the best! So accommodating and nice! I love this place! We checked out and then they rerented the same room to someone else , we couldn't find another hotel that day and called back to find out that the room had been rerented to someone else and we weren't allowed to come back that night. Very bad of the manager to do this and felt taken advantage of. Other than that this hotel is top of the line!! Just watch what you book. They are the same price so it's very confusing and deceiving online.

The bed matress was of an English standared rather than the hard sort you find in some parts of SE Asia. The TV had good reception and a good range of channels including BBC. The swimming pool was very cold, but as his was after the great rains and floods, I susspect that might have soomething to do with it. This was a fair value for money place, but disappointing that the breakfast was not inclusive, but did seem to be for all other guests.

A few minutes after receiving the booking confirmation, I got a call from One Greenbelt hotel confirming my booking and special requests (room with window/view). I also asked if the room has a refrigerator and they confirmed that it has (ref is not listed in Agoda). Based on the reviews that I read here and in tripadvisor, I was not expecting much but upon arrival, I was impressed that all my requests were granted (I also requested them to print my booking confirmation which they promptly obliged). Staff were very courteous and accommodating, hotel interior is nice and clean. Room that was given to us was big enough. It has two double/queen(?) sized beds, room (especially the sheets) are very clean and there's more than enough pillows for the 3 of us. View that you could see are just roofs of the houses in the nearby subdivision which we don't mind at all since we just wanted a window with a view to avoid making the child feel claustrophobic. My very minor complaint is that the air conditioning unit is at times a bit noisy (noticeable but did not interrupt our sleep). Toilet bowl is positioned too closely to the shower enclosure so you might have some difficulties sitting down. There's also a limited number of parking slots available which we also felt is not that secure (open parking, just along the busy street) so we did not bother parking there and instead, we parked at Greenbelt 5 (parking is quite cheap there, 45 pesos for weekend parking so that is 90 pesos for overnight parking - they have a different rate for weekdays). Greenbelt is also not that far from the hotel so this was not an issue for us. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay and will definitely go back here.
