It’s a beautiful and mod hotel and centrally located. Loved the location.....so convenient.....tube station is so so close just around the bend.....easy to flag a cab.....Was just so lovely weather to take a half hour stroll to Marble Arch and that’s the north side of the famous Oxford Street, the shopping haven. Was thrilled to know that Chinese food is just a fift...It’s a beautiful and mod hotel and centrally located. Was thrilled to know that Chinese food is just a fifteen minute walk on Queensway and the famous duck rice in London, Four Seasons is also here. The green lung of London, Hyde Park is just across the street. Loved the Serpentine Art Gallery here. Was impressed that housekeeping is done twice a day hence the super duper clean, fresh and neat room........so much so I got them to only clean on alternate days. The one dissatisfaction I have is because the hotel is doing some refurbishment, drilling and knocking starts as early as 9am. And my room was practically next to the area they were drilling. The noise came from everywhere and it went on for 5 days out of ten I stayed.

I was a bit worried before I got here because of some low rating reviews. However, while I was staying here for two days, I had no difficulty staying here except I had to jump over my carrier. At least I could leave my carrier open on the floor, though. The room was clean during the stay (hotel will NOT change your bed sheets but Will make the bed for you). The room had a good air conditioner, unlimited hot water from the shower, and a small TV which had a minor issue(maybe resolution problem). Wifi was working fine and okay speed. I was also satisfied with the breakfast buffet. It had various menus and decent taste. I liked how they took care of little details such as preparing small plastic spoons for their yogurts. Although the price wasn't cheap for me as a traveling student, but it is probably because I booked the room a day before my stay. In general, I really enjoyed staying at this hotel.

I was wowed the moment I stepped into the lobby. It looked so posh and classy! The staff are very helpful and friendly with excellent service. It just feels like a 5 star hotel. Marble Arch Tube station is just outside towards left side of the hotel and it is on the central line, meaning it's a centralized line and all you need is 1 transfer to most important landmarks like Piccadilly, Victoria and Leicester station or sometimes even direct without changing lanes! The only thing is given the fantastic welcome impression from lobby, the room is just plain normal and the housekeeping do not refill certain things. But still fine, given the above pros!! Love the stay!

I booked a Club Room, which I highly recommend. The rooms are fairly standard, but large for UK standards. Well appointed and clean. The location is perfect. It is situated on Portman Square, which is a large park, which gives the impression of space. The hotel is a short walk to Oxford Street from which you can easily access downtown London to the left or towards Marble Arch and Harrods to the right. It is all right there. Nothing is more than a short walk away. The hotel has a small gym (don't forget to turn on the air conditioning, otherwise it gets quite warm) and is quite a happening place. There is a restaurant downstairs that seems always busy and the Churchill Bar on the corner. But if you want to get outside the hotel, there are lots of eating and drinking options that are London favourites. Room Tip: Book a Club room. The Facilities are very English and very enjoyable.

We arrived at The Landmark Hotel and was told we could check in early. We were so pleased and grateful to hear that our room has been upgraded to an executive room as it was our 15th wedding anniversary. During our stay we also had cream tea at The Gazebo it was exceptional. Upon return to our room we had yet more surprises, strawberries, flowers and cards for our wedding anniversary. What a lovely touch! Breakfast in The Atrium was beautiful the Winter Garden is stunning. The service we received again was exceptional. Every single member of staff made us feel so special. We will certainly be returning soon to The landmark Hotel. This has to be the best hotel we have ever stayed at. If you want luxury, the best service from staff, beautiful surroundings, amazing food. This is the second stay of me this week, this time I choose to have the large room. the large room is a lot bigger. And it has a great front hotel view from your room. It a great hotel located near to the Paddington Station with just minutes walk. This will be the great choice of this located area. Have a large window in the room that you can open a small gap to let some fresh air into the room, I stay during the winter time so it makes a great temperature for the room on this season. Free water refill machine in the hotel lobby that you can always fill it with fresh sparkling water or still water(just need to keep your empty water bottle after you used). A pantry in every level that you can feel free to make a cup of hot tea and hot coffee with two choices of milk provided in the pantry. Housekeeping has done a great job daily on making sure your room is in clean condition every day when you come back. There a lot of restaurants around Praed Street that you can easily get your meal done.

(They are not keeping it every day in the room) Disadvantages: No hotel restaurant

The basic yet modern room with flat-screen TV, tea and coffeemaking with mini kitchen facilities. Wi-Fi available. Served with hot breakfast and basic choice of food but very satisfying. Additionally, F&B staffs are very helpful and friendly. Lastly, housekeeping for our 6 nights stay are fabulous and excellent. Cons : We've been located in the back room, 2nd floor with no elevator. Agoda should state clearly in Booking Infos regarding this matter (with elevator or without elevator). Luckily we travelled without kids or senior citizen. The frontdesk staff is not that friendly. Need to improve. A successful front office operation can make an everlasting impression. Me and husband really enjoyed our trip and will definitely repeat our stay :)

Also, the lighting is all or nothing without reading lights or ways of reducing the brightness. The club is well worth the additional expense; it is kind of like being in a family-style kitchen and served food, all day long if one wanted; meeting other travelers was great as was the daily afternoon wine and cheese. The highlight was the staff and a special shout-out to Alessandra and Marta who were friendly and helpful. Also, the location is outstanding, close to the Baker St. tube and there are lots of great restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk, and easy access to central London.

I have seen the standard double room and it's just a small room with a big bed. But this suite was big! I really liked the room, spacious! Big comfortable bed, big closet, fridge, 2x LCD TVs, a separate area for watching TV with sofa set, a small round table for 3 people to sit and eat, spacious bathroom, nice new floors... Etc etc. This was the best part of my stay here. The location is just perfect! Near to 3 tube stations: Bayswater, Queensway and Paddington are all within walking distance. Food and shopping places also nearby here. The Lagenda restaurant which is located on the ground floor, serves good Halal Malaysian and Chinese cuisine! The price may be ridiculous for some of the food in the menu, but is not too bad overall. I did not like the service at times though. There were days during my stay there that my fiancee and I had found ourselves waiting for 10-15 mins just to be served when it was not even full. The staff did not seem to be able to handle customers if the restaurant was the slightest bit busy. They seemed just overwhelmed, no one seemed to be in charge of making sure everyone was being attend to. On the other hand, when there wasn't many people around, we got served just fine. Oh, good food as well. The hotel staff during the day was always helpful and courteous but I can't say the same thing about the night shift. Twice I found myself getting annoyed at the reception from the night shift. Just unhelpful and rude! Overall, good hotel, nice location, good food, service standards need some attention.

The hotel has two very outstanding features, the location and staff. You are steps away from Makenzie Gardens and minutes from Paddington station. I would get up early and go for a run in the park, and after breakfast go do the tourist thing. So easy to get anywhere from Paddington. The staff is awesome. Without fail, they were courteous, friendly and eager to help in any way. Oh, and the buffet breakfast was very good! Considering the location, and amenities and the overall costs in London, the Best Western Mornington has great bang for your buck!

This is my third time to stay at this hotel. I booked the executive room so can enjoy the excecutive lounge service. The location is very convent as there are 3 underground stations only a few walking minutes from the hotel or buses that will take you to central London. However restaurants and shopping are only a walking distance from the hotel too in either Kensington and/or chelsea and much less crowded than down town London. We would certainly choose Queens Gate Hotel again on our next stay in London.

The location is great if you travelling by train to/from Paddington. Walking within 5min. The hotel is under refurbishment. So its noisy during the day. My room is modern, clean and big. I like that there is a safety box in the room. Very good for 3-star hotel. I decided to use the hotel transportation instead. When I got to the airport, Stephanie called me to say that I had left my valuable belongings in the room and that Chelina the housekeeper found them. I almost cried because they were gifts for my mom for Mother’s day. Stephanie shipped my lost items to the US. I am so grateful for the wonderful and honest staffs at double tree Marble Arch. Thank you so much Stephanie and Chelina! 🙏 You have no idea how much this means to me. God bless your good deeds and wishing you success and all the best things in life. ❤️

However the duty manager was kind enough to offer us other room available on the next day. One other thing to note is this hotel does not make up your room on daily basis, they only do so on weekly basis. They will charge 30💷if you required the service... Other than that... is a good place to choose from. Will stay there again when in town next time.
