We booked here knowing that the airport is in Tagbilaran which is an epic fail for us. Anyway, the hotel is just nearby the mall, pharmacy, Gerarda's place and terminals. They have friendly and accommodating staff. They even allowed early check-in since the room is already available w/o extra pay. Room is spacious as compared to other hotels in Alona Beach Panglao. I found the best hotel value for money in Bohol. Because it's new and food at the restaurant were fantastic. They also have free pick up if they don't forget... Staff at the restaurant organized very well. It seemed much different organized from reception erea. They forgot to pick me up and no apologized. I also complained for the slow services, but the man who seemed operating at reception area, he had many excuses. His way of service is Philippine standard. We foreigner never satisfied with his services. His staff should have trained by right person for the bed making with cleanness, how they wash the bed covers nicely. If you are also targeting for foreign guests... And I saw he was proud to sitting the chair at the reception, his way of speaking seemed very badly to other staff. I founded he works by his mood. After I complained about slow services, he ignored me when I passed through the reception even though other staff were greeting to me. I was uncomfortable to see him at the reception while I'm staying. Thanks for the good meals.

Great room facilities, just wish that they have bidet in the toilet but it's not a problem to us. bed is comfy and air conditioning unit is good. i am surprise that the room we booked has its own terrace. the very best part is that the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices and tastes good. my 3yr old toddler loves to watch in their Smart T...The Hotel is new. The hotel is 5 minute drive to the airport and the Tagbilaran Port can be seen right scross the bay. I really had a very good sleep. There's also a lot of storages which I like the most. Aircon is also good but a little bit noisy. Tv is good also with cable channels. 4. Wifi/Interner- We we're lucky to stay in room 205 because the wifi router is literally outside our room so the wifi signal is really strong. But there are time I can't connect to the internet that's why I had to stay in the reception area for a fast internet. If you're travelling for business, it's better to bring your own pocket wifi because their internet is unpredictable. Sometimes it's super fast but sometimes it's close to nothing :( 5. Facilities: Restaurant is okay. And they have a swimming pool. But for those who are travelling with elderly or pwd, the hotel does not have elevator :( Also, make sure to load your cellphone because they can't call outside Bohol. :( 6. The Sun Avenue is truly a gem. The front counter staff are ready to assist you with your needs in a friendly manner. The included breakfast is very good with a couple of choice that change daily. The rooms are large clean and comfy. Close to the ferry docks. A short walk to restaurants and a large shopping mall. They are currently expanding with the addition of more rooms so there is some minor construction noise during the day but it is by no means bothersome and there is no noise during the night.

the receptionist or front desk personnel (estelle) was very nice and helpful. she assisted us in booking our bohol countryside tour, recommending to us a very pleasant and able tour guide and driver (jun). upon our request, she even arranged for our seaport pick-up and panglao tour on a later date even if we were no longer staying in vest pension house. our room had...the receptionist or front desk personnel (estelle) was very nice and helpful. she assisted us in booking our bohol countryside tour, recommending to us a very pleasant and able tour guide and driver (jun). upon our request, she even arranged for our seaport pick-up and panglao tour on a later date even if we were no longer staying in vest pension house. our room had the basic amenities: 2 beds, tv, closet, bathroom with towels, soap, and ample toilet paper. it was clean and spacious enough for our family of 4. in terms of location, the hotel is just 5 minutes away from the airport and about 10 minutes away from the seaport. it is not walking distance to any commercial establishment or attraction, though. with the help of the hotel personnel, you can easily get a tricycle. we paid around p40 for our 15-minute tricycle ride to the island city mall. also, since the hotel is not located on the main road, it is relatively quiet and peaceful. vest has a small cafe/restaurant. except for breakfast which was included in the hotel booking fee, we spent an average of for every meal/snack we took there. a bit expensive for the place and average quality of the food so you're better off having your lunch or dinner in the mall if you're up to it. also, food service is slow; waiting time is at least 30 minutes from the time you place your order.

the hotel is a few minutes away from the airport... and with the free shuttle from airport to hotel, getting there would not be a problem... the hotel at the heart of tagbilaran.. it's a walking distance to the cathedral and bohol museum and lots of restaurants including malls... the room is clean and wide... the staff are very kind and helpful... since i was traveling...the hotel is a few minutes away from the airport... and with the free shuttle from airport to hotel, getting there would not be a problem... the hotel at the heart of tagbilaran.. it's a walking distance to the cathedral and bohol museum and lots of restaurants including malls... the room is clean and wide... the staff are very kind and helpful... since i was traveling alone, they considered my safety when i asked them how to commute from tagbilaran to the tourist spots in panglao island and insisted that i rent a tricycle to assist me since the places i want to go to are not that easy to get to... that way, they can get the number of the tricycle driver and be aware of who im traveling with... they also have a 15 minutes free trial of a scalar energy bed... and btw, if you came from the island city mall and took a multicab back to the hotel (for only php8.00), the multicab will pass right in front of the hotel...

I highly recommend this place. I made a mess of my booking, purely me to blame it was the sort of mistake that I could have been penalised for. The staff could not have been more helpful sorting out my error. The rooms are very nice, clean and bright. The rooms at the front do get some stret noise however. The hotel was built in 1970s (and claims to be the first hotel in Tagbilaran), so everything is quite outdated but, considering the price, where else you can get a swimming pool and a large room for P1050? The room itself is clean, just looks very old. There's a Korean restaurant in the hotel, tried once and the food was quite good, prices are adequate considering it's Korean food. Would consider coming again for this price should I need to stay once more in Tagbilaran city. Just don't expect the facilities to be modern - look elsewhere (and probably for either higher price or simpler facilities) if you need that.

It is my first time booking online, though a bit hesitant, I find Haven and gardens Hotel a perfect choice. It has a good location - near the airport. Though our room is in the 3rd floor and no lift, it was the least of our concern. The room itself is clean and spacious. The staff could have been friendlier and accommodating - the reception I mean. Besides the AC was really loud, the size of the room actually is really big comparing to normal philippine's economic type of hotel. A bit old fashioned, but very neat and clean. Some features are old but still functional well.. But, yes, the AC was too loud I had to turn it off when I felt a bit cooling down. Very friendly and understanding staff. Very close to the panglao island..but far from alona beach so don't think Bohol island is small like boracay...but the tricycle is very convenient.. If u like local experiences. Not a place for luxury enjoyment but definitely good for transit and I would spend another time there in Bohol again...the price is really good for the condition...

By the Way there is a free shuttle Service to the Port and Airport from 07:30 - 18:00 I believe. We used it to the Port as we took the Ferry. Everything was very good organized.

I chose this hotel for its location just outside the city of Tagbilaran. The room was a good size, with a reasonable shower room, aircon and TV. The Crab House restaurant was very good for main meals but the breakfast was a big disappointment.
