This hotel was awesome and would definitely recommend it! Everyone there was friendly and knew what they were doing. One thing I have noticed all over the PI, the servers do not know their simple, even for the simplest of questions. For breakfast, we ordered a la carte. Although the buffet looked delicious and presented well, it was too much food. We asked if the bacon was in the omelet or on the side. Our server did not know and had to ask =/ The rooftop bar had an incredible view and yummy drinks. Hotel is very clean and open. The location is awesome and easy 15 walk to the Greenbelt/Glorietta. The room was so comfortable and also had a great view of the city light. The shower had awesome hot water! The pool was really cool. Everything at this hotel was superb!!!

This is a great hotel if you want something nice, but affordable. The room I had was nice, with a kitchenette area. There isn't anything fancy about the room, but it was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a long stay. The location is excellent. It is what is now being called the Century City part of Makati, next to A-Venue Mall, where there are ample restaurants to chose from. This area is about to explode, one of the largest developments in the Philippines is being built right behind it. That being said, you think you would hear construction noise, but you don't. It wasn't until the last day of my stay when I walked around back of the hotel and realized they were building a mall and 4 major buildings behind the hotel. For the adult who wants a little excitement, the go-go bars of Bourgoise are right across the street. For shopping The Greenbelt/Glorietta Malls are 2km down Makati Avenue. Rockwell Power Plant Mall is a 15 minute walk. I really like the Antel Spa and highly recommend it.

Tune Hotel is a brand new budget hotel in the Makati area in Metro Manila. To my surprise during my stay, it was opened two weeks before I arrived there. The staff was very nice and attentive. The room was small but adequate for two people. Everything just felt new. You can still smell the construction because it's still ongoing at certain parts of the hotel, mainly the outside, but it didn't bother us because we woke up before they started work. The hotel is conveniently located with enough restaurants, bars and convenience stores nearby. It is also not a far walk to the Greenbelt, Glorietta, the Landmark and SM malls. The idea of Tune Hotel is to promote being green and not being wasteful so you have to pay for internet, toiletries, air conditioning to name a few. Fortunately, booking through agoda, my room came with everything so I didn't have to pay extra. For three nights, it was worth $20 US dollars a night.

For years I have come to Manila and stayed in the City Garden Makati Hotel which is across the road from this one. The grand Hotel is everything that the older Hotel is but just what it says ....much more grand!! Now we have chandeliers in the lobby and a magnificent roof top pool and restaurant with stunning views over Makati. The rooms are great, new and provide great views of the area. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the staff are friendly with one exception who must have been having a bad day...she was grumpy with everyone in the restaurant......The hotel is great value for money when compared to its international hotel chain competitors....but choose carefully. Transport in Manila is gridlocked so be sure you want to stay in Makati before you book here. If you want, for example, to be at Mall of Asia or Quezon City there are hotels which are closer to those locations. But if you need to be close to Powerplant mall, the Makati CBD or Glorietta Mall this hotel is ideal. You will not regret staying here its great !

I stayed again since last February. Staffs are so friendly and attentive. Best location as it is located in front of the Greenbelt/Glorietta/Landmark Mall! New building therfore very very clean. Room and bathroom are very spacious!! I kind of complained about the breakfast in Feburary, now they have enhanced the line up of breakfast dishes!! I was so fulfilled with their mouthwatering breakfast buffet!!!! I heard it was owned by San Miguel Group which is the biggest company in Philippines, and Diamond Hotel surely deserves the best hotel reputation!!

You can stay at the Shangri La and pay a lot more money, and you can enjoy the aging plumbing and lights in your room. Or you can stay at the Peninsula, and enjoy being treated as a visiting family member. The location is as good as you can have in Makati. The hotel is across the street from everything. The stock exchange, the beautiful park, all the malls, Glorietta, Greenbelt, Rustans, Landmark. The view of the Manila skyline is enough to keep you looking out the window in your room for a long time. The hotel and all facilities are immaculate. Not just clean. Spotless, polished, cared for with such pride. The housekeeping staff is friendly and efficient. If you want to go out for only a few minutes, they will have your room clean and cozy when you get back. The wonderful people on the staff make every effort to do their services on your schedule, so you can enjoy your time uninterrupted. The staff at the Peninsula is by far the best asset. Every staff member makes an obvious effort to make the guest feel welcomed, appreciated, and cared for during their stay at the Peninsula. All the facilities are wonderful. The food is some of the best you can find in Makati, and and will be pleasing to all palates, no matter where you come from. The Peninsula hotel is my home in Manila. I have stayed at most of the better hotels in Makati, all of which are very good. I must say though, that the Peninsula makes me feel like I am home, and so comfortable and relaxed. My fiance and I sat outside the driveway at the entrance at 4 am, and sang songs to each other. It was quiet, peaceful, and though there were many security guards close by, they left us alone and allowed us our romantic moments. Thank you Peninsula staff !! You're all the best and most professional in the business.

We booked here for 3nights because the place is near the australian embassy like walking distance. It's also near malls like greenbelt..glorietta etc.. Has a park beside it. We booked in a suite the room is big and has bathtub which I really enjoy. The balcony also is really nice you can have a sip of coffee and watch the surroundings. The place is instagrammable! Staffs are polite and very attentive to our needs. Only thing I don't like bout the place and can be improved are the flies flying in our room and also mosquitoes 1st night I've been bitten several times already glad I have my off lotion with me. I rang them regarding this matter to have our room sprayed still there's a bit of fly and mosquitoes around but anyway I don't really mind cause the bed and room makes up for it. We are on the 5th floor so when you go out the elevator you can see the gym which I like too but haven't used cause no time. No pool here but everything in this place is very convenient restaurants around and convenient stores around and even a nearby drugstore. I highly recommend this place if you are picky like me. This place is worth it. Aircons in the room are two which I only put to 25 Degree since it's really cold. Really like the place very comfy and nice. This is the best place I've been so far in which rooms are comparable to a 5 star hotel take note this is just a serviced recidence not a hotel but it's a nice place to stay really.

We stayed for 11 days then extended it to 13 with no issue. We stayed in the Euro studio. The rooms were not too small, just enough for sleeping. Extremely clean, great staff who were very friendly. All valuables were fine as nothing went missing, laundry on premises was very reliable. The staff were always willing to help. Very central location, quite close to MOA, Glorietta Malls, etc. Bed wasn't that comfortable, spacious but a little bit hard. Overall, for the price you're paying it is definitely worth it. We will be coming back!

When we arrived to Metro Manila, I decided to check in St. Giles because of the reviews and the price wasn't so bad. We had a great first 2 dat stay. There's a pool and a gym to use at your convenience. The elevators were unaccessible unless you have a room key. The staff were so friendly, they often gave us their suggestions for restaurants and massage spas to try. What I love was that there are so many restaurants nearby, you won't need a taxi. It's a 2 minute walk to Gilligans, a 3 minute walk to Century mall, or even 4 to 5 minutes to the nearest Jollibee or Mag Inasal. I also love the convenience of malls being only a 4 to 7 minute drive away. There's Glorietta, Landmark, and even Greenbelt! (Where I got my Lasik surgery) I also love how it isn't so far from MoA, Star City, or BGC, and the airport is only 15 to 20 minutes away. After my first two nights here, I transferred to Sequoia Hotel in QC because we had to attend a party. After 3 days in QC, we decided to move back to Makati's St. Giles for the remaining stay of our trip. It was a great getaway for my fiance and I. We definitely consider it our second home. It may not be as glamorous as Dusit Thani, but it is definitely a 5 star hotel to me, in terms of affordability. The staff took good care of us during our whole stay. Definitely a huge PLUS to me.

After reading many reviews of hotels planning my trip,choosing ascott was a great choice.Location was the best,smack bang in the middle of Glorietta malls and great restaurants. My studio apartment on the 8th floor was spacious, clean,stylish,fully equipped kitchen and washing/drying machine.Nearest currency exchanges are SM mall 2nd level just round corner or Glorietta 5 across the road. The pool was great and gym was better than expected.The all you can eat buffet brekky was very good and well worth it. I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location is at the heart of Makati Central Business District. Glorietta Mall is right beside it so you have the option not to include breakfast in your booking because restaurants are around where you can choose what you desire to eat. Other malls such as SM, Landmark, Greenbelt, Rustan’s are just around so make sure you have lots of time to roam around for your shopping. Room was spacious for us couple with two little kids. Bathroom was ok though no bath tub. Selections in mini bar have stickers of the hotel logo on them which was a good management move to ensure that guests are not replacing what they have taken. If you need to buy medicine, there is a Mercury Drug open for 24hours in ground floor of Glorietta facing SM entrance. The big pool and baby pool were nice and water was at luke-warm temperature. We really enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly. Down side, we were not happy with the pizza that we ordered. Overall, it was a nice experience and we really recommend this hotel

Having travelled to Makati many times on business over the past 12 years, and stayed with many of the 4 & 5 star hotels, I was quite excited by my first stay at the Fairmont. I dare say, I was not disappointed! The fit-out of this new hotel is of a high quality and the staff are very friendly, going out of their way to ensure that my stay was a memorable one. My room was a generous size, the king bed and pillows were very comfortable (making it difficult to get up in the morning) and the bathroom was just perfect (including rain-shower and bath). I had no issues connecting to the complimentary Wi-Fi (President's Club). The gym was large, with new (well-spaced) equipment and well lit with large windows allowing natural light to flow in. Swimming pool is long enough for some morning laps and the deck chairs nice and comfortable. Location is terrific also, right next to Landmark, Greenbelt and Glorietta for some shopping. Over all, a five star rating from me and I would not hesitate to stay at the Fairmont again.

The hotel is located slightly further (20 mins walk) from Malati centre (i.e. Greenbelt and Glorietta) but there are many restaurants (including halal, kosher and vegetarian foods) around and it is very close to Century Garden Mall for shopping or cinema. It is surrounded with busy street of traffics almost everyday and everytime. Choose higher floor to reduce traffic noise at night. Careful when crossing the road. The staffs are all friendly, helpful and attentive. Do not hesitate to ask for help from the reception for transport. Room is clean and well decorated as well. I would recommend this hotel to others.

The property is just infront of Glorietta mall. The lobby is neat and clean, as well as the rooms. The staff are so friendly. I stayed at Bsa right next door and they have rude frontdesk employees. However, the frontdesk employees here are kind. My son was experiencing stomach aches, so we often called the housekeeping to throw our trash out that had smelly diapers, and they were very attentive. The housekeeping lady was very sweet too as she got our dirty laundry to wash. It is worth staying here. Nice location, helpful staff, and clean units.

I have stayed at this venue several times and it is my go to choice when staying in Makati. Staff are exceptional, the level of service which you would expect to see in a 5 star hotel which separates it from similar hotels in the area. Rooms are small condo style unit with kitchenette which is great. Rooms are extremely clean with good toiletries (shaving kit, sanitary pack as well as the usual). Shower is good and if you stay in the larger rooms they have a tv in both the bedroom and living area. Swimming pool is a good size with long deck chairs to relax. Location it is walking distance to the Poblacion area and there are many good restaurants nearby. Greenbelt/Glorietta is a short 5 min taxi journey away. Breakfast and room service come from the restaurant located next door to the hotel, the Flying Pan. Good breakfast choice, for the normal room service menu i would say is just slightly overpriced for what it is. Exceptional overall, definitely recommend.

It was awesome! The best hotel that I've stayed in through the Agoda app so far! I've reserved a Studio One-Bed room, but it was upgraded to a 1-Bedroom Premium WITH NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! I mean, I know this is just my luck, and it may not happen again, but then again, the fact that they do such upgrading really speaks a lot about how they value their customers! The room is soooo beautiful (it was on the 36th floor with a CLEAR VIEW of the city!). The room is very spacious, clean, organized, and beautiful! If I could, I would've stayed there for 5 more days! The staff are very polite and helpful from the lobby attendants to the housekeeping personnel. They attended to my needs with haste as if you're the most important guest that they're currently hosting! Hahaha! The breakfast buffet is so-so at best, so they might as well want to improve it, but hey, I didn't come to the hotel only to dine (and to be fair, buffet is not their specialty or featured service unlike other hotels). Totally worth your money and very opposite to the negative feedback that others posted here. I really hope that this review won't jinx my next check in to the hotel in the future! Hahahaha!

The rooms were big and roomy, no mold yet, as it's a new hotel. Air con better than in bigger hotel were you have no control. The staff were extremely helpful, especially the hotel management apprentices. And Luis always at your service and Richard were exceptional, I cannot praise them enough. They offer a kind of free shuttle service to the shopping mall Glorietta at certain times. But you get back by yourself. Grab is usually the way to go. The breakfast was not really to my taste, but they were always eager to please and I requested some bananas and they sent someone to get me some from the shop! Be patient, as sometimes you have to ask several times for results, but eventually all happens. They r always trying their best to make you feel comfortable. Use their terrace on the 9th floor. Beautiful view and nice breeze. negatives: the street noise, no double glazing, and the rain shower difficult to use sitting down for disabled.

The best thing in this hotel is its location to shopping areas. It's just a walking distance to Greenbelt, Glorietta. This hotel is small. But the room is big. They have 2 double beds for the superior twin bed room. Lines are white and clean, pillows are soft and comfy, but i don't like their comfort room. it's separated with a sliding door, no lock, don't like how they design the sink, water leaks from the shower to the floor, although they made some remedies to it. The comfort room was not well designed and well planned. The breakfast they served was okay but a bit pricey. costs for a plated breakfast. not buffet. you only have 3 choices for the breakfast(continental,american and filipino breakfast. Thanks for the "unlimited" coffee. Loved it. I won't recommend this hotel for travellers with small children. They decorated the room with figurines(one on the coffee table and the other on the table near the TV. Upon checking in, you are requested to give a deposit of 1000pesos, just in case of any loss,damage of the hotel property. So be careful not the break the decors kids. They give the deposit back upon checking out though. This hotel is good for business travelers and for those who are shoppaholic. Hotel is just good for a place to stay. Nothing more. By the way, the hallway was not airconditioned coz they switched it off. So, prepare your keys ahead so you wont stay longer at the hallway, you can readily get inside your room. The ambiance of the restaurant at the lobby is boring. But no worries, there are a lot of restaurants at the mall. No wifi access inside the room too. But anyway, my stay was good coz we only need a place to stay. The room was clean, bed was big, pillows were soft and comfy, LCD TV was big. I was satisfied. the location was great and accessible. Across the street is a 24 hours convenience store, drugstore and an ATM and bank beside the hotel. great location, nice room but not the comfort room.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Right beside all the shopping and 5 mins walking distance to Glorietta Mall, Green Belt, etc. Its also nearer to the airport than hotels in Makati Ave, so taxi fare can be negotiated down to 200-250p.. its rare that you find an honest taxi driver willing to go by the meter. Staff were efficient and helpful and because the hotel is quite established, there's no problem getting to the hotel in a taxi. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. You have all the 5-star amenities at a 3-star price. Room service food was pretty good although 5-star priced, but i'd rather pay that than some other knockoff dishes at discount prices that do nothing for the appetite. In either case, you're within walking distance to many restaurants offering great variety of food. Hotel has a gym that wasn't as well equipped, but not many people using it so not a problem there. No pool unfortunately but i wasn't there to swim so it didn't bother me. Internet connection is available in-room and was included in my booking with Agoda, but the speed was rather slow and i could hardly get onto facebook games. There's a 24-hr convenience store 2 doors away on the left of the hotel where you can buy basic amenities, stock up your mini-bar fridge, etc, but don't expect to get things you'd normally get from a full-blown supermarket. Hawkers set up stall just outside the hotel at night and you get pretty good beef noodles for a very cheap price. If i'm going back to Manila, i'll definitely stay here again.

This was my first stay at the Guijo Suites in Makati, booked through Agoda due to its good reviews. While I have stayed previously at the Marriott, Intercontinental, Shangri-La, etc., and all of them are quite good and well located, the Guijo Suites in Makati was, however, the best hotel I have stayed at in Makati/Manila, and the absolute best value that is available. The hotel, while located in a somewhat difficult to find location, is actually quite close to Glorietta / Greenbelt, and somewhat off the beaten path, although taxi drivers knew it once you gave them the cross streets for the hotels location. The room size is quite good (by US Standards), bathroom had a good shower, room service was excellent and very quick, breakfast buffet was decent. The hotel itself is a couple of years old and does not have a lot of rooms (I think I was told just 23 or so), and excellent value for the money. I will stay there again (despite some noise during the day due to construction across the street which was quiet at night). Excellent hotel, excellent value for money! Recommend it highly!

Great and quirky decor; the in-house restaurant is superb and the bakery run by the hotel makes the best bread in Manila. The room was quiet, clean with classy furnishings. The hotel is in an "edgy" part of Makati so the location is within easy walking distance of loads of places like Rockwell, Glorietta, Makati Med, Jazz and Century Malls. However the area is a little seedy after dark. If you like edgy, it's perfect and for the price utterly unbeatable! The staff were kind and very focused on security of the guests. It's a hotel stay which felt just like my Philippine experience - full of contrasts which complement appreciating each other.

Affordable and everyday housekeeping! Very clean... though check in’s are a bit long, because many people are checking in everyday. You can leave your bags in the lobby with the staff if you arrive early before 2pm and can enjoy your time around makati. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating, cover walk (pedestrian) is located outside the suites so no need to get wet (rainy) if you want to visit the malls (greenbelt-glorietta-landmark-Sm Makati) all malls are connected, visit Alishan the Alley (Best Milk tea) beside the entrance of Eton... Small rooms but for the price it is very affordable for the location you get... Pros: -10mins walk to GreenBelt (covered pedestrian) -restaurants around the Suites (subway, dean & de luca, pizza, 7eleven, starbucks, chowking and many more) -housekeeping (everyday) -24hr frontdesk & security -staffs are approachable -free use of pool and gym -hot and cold shower -safe place to stay in Makati Cons -no free breakfast -wifi is bit slow if your streaming but okay if you use it just for browsing in FB I highly recommend this place to couples and families that love to roam around makati, very near to the mall and restaurants❤️ We will be staying here again if we visit manila again!

I booked for studio room but was upgraded to twin deluxe to my surprise, the room has a 5 star quality to it, but to a very affordable price, it’s like I have a 50% discount. The hotel staff are very fast and efficient no problems in checking in, front desk is very knowledgeable, it’s a really good hotel. I’m New in makati area so I appreciate their willingness to help me. The room itself is big and clean and beautiful. I was relaxed within just 2 days. I badly need vacation and I got it from Gervasia. I’d be going back to same hotel if I visit Manila again. 👌🏼

The hotel is close to Greenbelt mall, which in turn is close to The Landmark department store and the Glorietta mall. There is also a Mini-Stop convenience store across the reasonably quiet street, and a laundry place about 5 minutes walk around the corner (in case you don't want to avail of the hotel's self service laundry facilities). The Enchanted Kingdom ticket office is also next door. Also, there are always taxis passing the front of the hotel, if you want to travel out of Makati. My wife and I stayed in the basic studio room. It was overall very clean and modern. While my booking said 'King Bed', it turned out to be two king singles joined together, but a good job was done to cover the gap in the middle! There's a 32" LCD TV in the room for the lazy days, but sadly fellas, they didn't have the Basketball TV channel (though they still had ESPN and Balls). Not much of a view (facing south), but we didn't care, since we were out most of the time. However, rooms with a north view overlook Legaspi Park and more interesting looking buildings than the south. Shower is a bath/shower combo with a curtain. Unfortunately I didn't get to check out the swimming pool, as my stay was relatively short. The buffet breakfast was quite nice. I didn't avail of any of the other services/facilities, so I cannot comment on these. Now, on to the one and only overall negative I had during my stay here. Please note however, this may be a very isolated situation, and I might have just been unlucky... During the check-in process at the front desk, I was advised that, for reasons too detailed to explain in this review, the hotel had not yet received the payment from the travel agent (whom I had already paid in full). The hotel advised that if they do not receive the payment from the travel agent by the time I check out, the hotel would then charge me. I really liked the location of the hotel, being close to two stores that are open 24/7 is great if you need to pick up any miscellaneous items. Also, there's a Wendy's right across the street from the hotel and some other restaurants within close vicinity of it. The Glorietta and Landmark malls are about a 10-15 minute walk away. I didn't mind this as I enjoy getting some exercise. As others have previously mentioned, don't use the hotel taxis, they will rip you off. Instead, just walk to Makati avenue, right on the side of the hotel, and get a taxi there. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Best Western and I would definitely stay there again if I were to return to Makati, which I probably will.

it is near Makati Med, Ayala Ave, Ayala Triangle, Greenbelt, Glorietta areas. it is best to walk than get stuck in heavy traffic around these places. it has wholesome and professional appeal. facilities are generally clean. staff are courteous, friendly and welcoming. key card fails most of the time in elevators. there's only 1 electric plug available in the room. there are no mini-toiletries but all-purpose soap dispensers. my allergies flared up. me suggest frequent carpet cleaning, freshly cleaned linens and towels. overall, it was good and well recommended.

Conveniently located just opposite The Residences at Greenbelt, it is just a few minutes walk to shopping malls and entertainment hotspots such as Greenbelt, Glorietta, The Landmark and SM as well as the Ayala Museum, an MRT station (Ayala Station) and other public transportation hubs (from Ayala Avenue and Park Square). The room I was given was clean and spacious enough with lots of pillows and a very soft and comfortable bed. The room layout was slightly different from what I'm accustomed to though - the armchair was in a corner by the door and the dressing table/work desk, and the television is only viewable from the bed. The bathroom looked and smelled clean with towels that felt new and barely used. Again, however, the toilet layout was slightly different from what I'm accustomed to - it was long instead of wide and there is barely enough space between the bathroom wall and my knees when I'm sitting on the toilet (even though I'm barely 5 feet tall). The hotel staff are friendly, courteous and very accommodating. When I tried to borrow an ironing board and flat iron, but housekeeping didn't have any spare ones to lend me, they very nicely offered to steam my clothes for me at no extra charge. (And they did it very nicely and efficiently, too.) Breakfast at the in-house cafe was good with ample choices be it Filipino or Continental breakfast that you want. In spite of the shortage in housekeeping equipments (iron, ironing board, hair dryer, hangers, etc.), One Greenbelt Hotel is a great hotel that gives value for money and I would definitely be coming back to stay here again.

this is a three star hotel but overall i would say this is a four star hotel. very friendly staff. they have strict check in time at 2pm but we we're allowed to check in early at 11:30 pm such a relief :) thanks green sun :) very near at the vfs makati . if you have appointment in vfs makati for visa and other stuff. this is the best place to stay. very near at the airport. going to airport is like 15min away by car we just use our Grab APP (this is like UBER) i have a youtube channel. where is gelo. check out my video about the hotel. :) dont forget to subscribe for more.
