We ended up double booked into this hotel and the staff sorted that very professionally without making us feel troublesome. I was a bit worried before I got here because of some low rating reviews. However, while I was staying here for two days, I had no difficulty staying here except I had to jump over my carrier. At least I could leave my carrier open on the floor, though. The room was clean during the stay (hotel will NOT change your bed sheets but Will make the bed for you). The room had a good air conditioner, unlimited hot water from the shower, and a small TV which had a minor issue(maybe resolution problem). Wifi was working fine and okay speed. I was also satisfied with the breakfast buffet. It had various menus and decent taste. I liked how they took care of little details such as preparing small plastic spoons for their yogurts. Although the price wasn't cheap for me as a traveling student, but it is probably because I booked the room a day before my stay. In general, I really enjoyed staying at this hotel.

There's one thing about the reception counter that is different with other hotels, it is not situated on the ground floor and you have to take the escalator like you're going to a mall or department store, but there is staff though to meet you at the top of the escalator and point you towards the right direction to the reception.

Bathrobe and bathroom slippers are provided. Other than compact size, the wall is not so sound proof. You tend to hear next door TV or noises. Thankfully my neighbour seldom turn on TV and didn't get noisy neighbour. There're 2 convenience stores: Tesco and Sainsbury local. Infact there's an Asian supermarket around too. Plenty of nice Chinese, Indian and Thai restaurants around there. Mc Donald, Burger King and KFC are available too. I will come back and recommend friends to stay at this hotel.

I booked a Club Room, which I highly recommend. The rooms are fairly standard, but large for UK standards. Well appointed and clean. The location is perfect. It is situated on Portman Square, which is a large park, which gives the impression of space. The hotel is a short walk to Oxford Street from which you can easily access downtown London to the left or towards Marble Arch and Harrods to the right. It is all right there. Nothing is more than a short walk away. The hotel has a small gym (don't forget to turn on the air conditioning, otherwise it gets quite warm) and is quite a happening place. There is a restaurant downstairs that seems always busy and the Churchill Bar on the corner. But if you want to get outside the hotel, there are lots of eating and drinking options that are London favourites. Room Tip: Book a Club room. The Facilities are very English and very enjoyable.

To our second disappointment the room doesnt look like an executive, the room smelled of someone who just smoked in the room(where it's a non-smoking room), and the air con heater wasn't functioning properly. My husband and myself moved back to our deluxe room on the second night and it was much much more better and we were happy and satisfied throughout our stay in the guestroom. The view was also perfect and the hotel area was what satisfied us. It is nearby everywhere we're going. Nearby long stretch of cheap delicious halal foods, nearby underground(trains), and buses, marks & spencer supermart is just a door away from the hotel.

We arrived at The Landmark Hotel and was told we could check in early. We were so pleased and grateful to hear that our room has been upgraded to an executive room as it was our 15th wedding anniversary. We were given a guided tour around the hotel by two lovely members of staff who also showed us to our room. During our stay we also had cream tea at The Gazebo it was exceptional. Upon return to our room we had yet more surprises, strawberries, flowers and cards for our wedding anniversary. What a lovely touch! Breakfast in The Atrium was beautiful the Winter Garden is stunning. The service we received again was exceptional. Every single member of staff made us feel so special. We will certainly be returning soon to The landmark Hotel. This has to be the best hotel we have ever stayed at. If you want luxury, the best service from staff, beautiful surroundings, amazing food. Such a great hotel with some real quirky touches from the record player in the coffee shop to the Pantry to make your own coffee and tea. I booked the large double room which gave me a bit more room to move around in. Room looked like it had recently been refurbished and was super clean and comfortable. The blue tooth speaker was great quality, fluffy towels but only a small area to hang clothes no cupboard. As the leaflet says, everything you need and nothing you don't. There is a safe hidden under the bed that i only found on the last day so be sure to look there is you want to store personnel affects. I didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on the food but i can confirm that the sign out the front that say's "The best coffee around" is 100% accurate. Instead of having a kettle in the room each area has a Pantry stocked with 3 types of tea and coffee style bags with hot and cold water

The size of the room was comfortable considering that it is london(I’ve stayed in double tree Hyde park and this was definitely a better experience). The location is excellent, just a 3-4 minute walk from Lancaster gate tube station. I love being able to run at Hyde park early in the morning. It’s also not too far from a convenient store and some restaurants.Would definitely stay here again.

Additionally, F&B staffs are very helpful and friendly. Lastly, housekeeping for our 6 nights stay are fabulous and excellent. Cons : We've been located in the back room, 2nd floor with no elevator. Agoda should state clearly in Booking Infos regarding this matter (with elevator or without elevator). Luckily we travelled without kids or senior citizen. The frontdesk staff is not that friendly. Need to improve. A successful front office operation can make an everlasting impression. Me and husband really enjoyed our trip and will definitely repeat our stay :)

We loved the lobby area with the elegant yet inviting seating area. Each night there was a live performance of piano music. The piano player acknowledged us with smiles which made the place seem even more warm and inviting. I wish we had more time to appreciate the music. I appreciated was the combination of elegance, warmth and convenience.

Big comfortable bed, big closet, fridge, 2x LCD TVs, a separate area for watching TV with sofa set, a small round table for 3 people to sit and eat, spacious bathroom, nice new floors... Etc etc. This was the best part of my stay here. The location is just perfect! Near to 3 tube stations: Bayswater, Queensway and Paddington are all within walking distance. Food and shopping places also nearby here. The Lagenda restaurant which is located on the ground floor, serves good Halal Malaysian and Chinese cuisine! The price may be ridiculous for some of the food in the menu, but is not too bad overall. I did not like the service at times though. There were days during my stay there that my fiancee and I had found ourselves waiting for 10-15 mins just to be served when it was not even full. The staff did not seem to be able to handle customers if the restaurant was the slightest bit busy. They seemed just overwhelmed, no one seemed to be in charge of making sure everyone was being attend to. On the other hand, when there wasn't many people around, we got served just fine. Oh, good food as well. The hotel staff during the day was always helpful and courteous but I can't say the same thing about the night shift. Twice I found myself getting annoyed at the reception from the night shift. Just unhelpful and rude! Overall, good hotel, nice location, good food, service standards need some attention.

I did 2 full day tours and the Concierge rang and booked those for me. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone as you will not be disappointed. The only thing I could pick on is that during my stay there was a heatwave and my room didn't have airconditioning which was needed as the room got quite stuffy.

The hotel has two very outstanding features, the location and staff. You are steps away from Makenzie Gardens and minutes from Paddington station. I would get up early and go for a run in the park, and after breakfast go do the tourist thing. So easy to get anywhere from Paddington. The staff is awesome. Without fail, they were courteous, friendly and eager to help in any way. Oh, and the buffet breakfast was very good! Considering the location, and amenities and the overall costs in London, the Best Western Mornington has great bang for your buck!

This is my third time to stay at this hotel. I booked the executive room so can enjoy the excecutive lounge service. They offer non -stop drinks and food during specific time which is excellent which not many other hotels in Europe will do the same. Their breakfast at lobby is more than excellent!!! I will definitely use this hotel for future trips to London. First, I want to acknowledge Alex and Claudia. The room had air conditioning. This was a pleasant surprise as I hadn't been thinking of that when I booked it in March. During my stay in June, the temperature was in the mid to upper 30's C. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the Paddington Tube stop. There were a lot of dining options nearby. The room was spacious. I had accidentally booked a room with 2 beds, while I was a solo traveler. This was a bargain. Multiple power outlets. . Because they are a budget hotel, they only had room service every 3 days. I try to stay “green” and use towels more than once. Often times, I will do what the hotel says to do, but end up having the towels replaced daily. The negatives. There was only a small fold out table and night stands. While you could store your luggage under the beds, there was no real place to set souvenirs or other things that you might want to have out. Neutral. There was no in hotel breakfast available. When I stayed, they had an arrangement with the place next door. It didn’t matter to me. There are a lot of pastry shops all over the place and I wasn’t looking for a sit down breakfast. I had read other reviews about noise from the trains. I was on the 4th floor and could sometimes hear rumblings. Didn’t bother me as I’m a heavy sleeper.

The location of the hotel is very good !! Just off Oxford street, next to M & S and other department stores. Rooms are VERY small, but nice, with all the regular things you would expect to have, but no refrigerator in the room, so if you are planing to store something to be cool, forget about it. Alongwith my wife I had the opportunity to visit London and stay at this home away from home for a good nine nights. Befitting it’s name space has been best utilised by them. We stayed in a premium studio which was fully equipped and with ample space for a hotel in central London. Zoltan and Abdul at the reception were always very helpful. Zoltan and Abdul at the reception were always very helpful. Abdul always smiling and even helped us with our luggage to the room . We had a late checkin which was extremely smooth. Since the reception is open from 8 am to 8 pm. If informed there is no problem at all with check in’s. We had a very bitter experience on the second day of our stay and were robbed of our passports and money at Oxford street we were helped by Zoltan to get printouts and other papers at his computer. The most in effective police department is that of the London police so be careful when you go to London because you are on your own no matter what happens do not expect the police to help. I would highly recommend this property.

I have been to London for 6 times and this is the best accommodation I have ever had so far. The decoration of the hotel is nice and romantic and the best of all is it's location. It's just 5 mins walk from underground station and Hyde park is just right next to it. I definitely would stay at this ho...Marvin & buddhika, you guys recently helped me with reservation and check in on Feb 6. Thanks to you and the other staff, The rooms were clean and comfortable. I can say this is one of the best hotels we stayed in London,The room was very, very clean and modern. The staff at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and professional.. I booked at good rate but room given is small. There is no breakfast provided and no airport transfer. All remarks given to hotel during booking is not being considered at all. There is no fridge but each room has a safety box. Staffs are okay, some are friendly but some are not.
