"After reading reviews I was nervous about booking here, but the experience was great! It is right across from the beach (just like every other hotel) due to the street in front of the beach. The staff was amazing! They let us check in 4 hours early and also held our things after checkout on the last day. There are plenty of restaurants within a mile. Downtown is only a few miles away and an Uber is cheap. The location is great. The bathroom was small, but there was a giant mirror in the room so getting ready was not difficult at all. The Deck is right outside and breakfast is great and affordable. If you are expecting a balcony with a great view, this is probably not the place for you, but if you are someone that is wanting to spend time on the beach and out and about, it is great. "

"The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was large as well, the view was beautiful. The bartender, Snow by the pool was so great too. The spa was beautiful as well. The pool wasn’t huge but very nice. Pernav at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Resort fees are a bit high and you really do have to valet as parking is hard to come by. Also the water took a while to get warm in the shower and the directions for things were a bit unclear, usually there’s a book or something but I’m thinking with covid they took those away. I had questions like timing that the restaurant or spa opens or directions to use the coffee maker (it’s a little different than then most). I did discover a channel that breaks all of that down, I don’t normally watch tv so didn’t think to check on demand for that. Over all though it was a great place to stay, I would definitely go back. "Pros first the location is great for all of your needs. Secondly the beach since I love the beach.RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!!. Hotel was a little under construction but it did not hinder my beautiful experience here at Sonestra. Cons they do not tell you until after you book that there a daily service charge that they hold on your credit card for taxes and incidentals. I'm watching my cc to see what is left because I didn't do anything to incur charges. STEELPAN is the name of the restaurant downstairs. Order the jerk chicken sandwich great flavor, Joe the bartender is the best. Also Britnay the Hostess was pleasant. All and all great experience."

I couldn’t recommend this hotel more to anyone, book it!"

"Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. A bit on the expensive side, but it was a hotel that met our needs so we went with it. Four star for facilities as the pool closes too early in my opinion. 7pm instead of 11pm like the neighboring Hilton which we stayed at previously."

"The hotel does not have any restaurant. For breakfast, you need to walk about 5 minutes to a nearby hotel. Good point is that the hotel is walking distance to beach. Bad point is the service attitude of the staff - - I don't think they are friendly and helpful. There are many hotels in Fort Lauderdale. I think I will select another hotel in my next visit since I don't really like to go to beach often "

Kevin, the staff at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Location was just a few minutes walk from the beach and a short drive to the Galleria mall."
