Find hotels in Iho Beach

We reach hotel at a late time. But we were both hungry after check in. We asked the hotel staff for food direction. he gave us a few suggestions. so we started walking in the heavy snow in hope to find food. after 5 mins. A car stop in front of us and it was the hotel staff!!! He must have been very worried that we walked too long in the cold. Hence he came looking for us and drove us to a restaurant at almost 11pm. We were really very touched by his gesture. His attitude is way more than just 5 stars. Thank you!!! we had the best time in jeju. Lastly, hotel is needless to say. Everything excellent from cleanliness to space to heater and shower room.

The Hotel is very nice with a very good location as well. I actually booked a room with a seaview on the upper floor, but as I checked in near the evening (after I finished my day tour), I was informed that the room with direct seaview in the upper floor is fully occupied, the reception staffs then give me a room with a side view of the sea and free vouchers for breakfast in the next morning as complimentary. Anyway, as I was only staying for one night, so I'm just okay with the deals. The Breakfast was really nice. The Hotel's location is superb, across the hotel was kinda a court with seaview, around the hotel there's lots of eateries from seafood to the famous black pork. Shopping street and Local Markets are just few mins walk. I'm likely to book this hotel again on my next visit to jeju. Notes : It's just I think since I already booked the hotel with advanced payment, I think whether or not I arrived late, there's should be at least a room based on my request been ready for the day because I had paid for it.

Wanted to stay at a quieter place away from Jeju city, but not too far away from the airport either. This is a new hotel, so gave it a try. Booked a deluxe room (double + single beds) with sea views. Room was located at a higher floor. It was spacious and the amenities were very new. Location wise, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel that goes to the city. However we didn't use it. Took a taxi whenever we wanted to go to the city, cost around SGD8-10 per trip. Most of the reception staff understood and spoke minimal English (only met 1 or 2 whom could speak really well). However, it would help if you could try to speak slower and do some research beforehand on the places that you wanted to visit. Despite the language barrier, they were still very helpful towards understanding my requests and helped to act as a translator between the taxi driver and us. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was an optional add-on. Quite expensive though the food quality was not bad. Limited dining options around the hotel. There is a fast food chain outlet (Lotteria) around 8mins walk away from the hotel. A fried chicken chain outlet (Nene chicken) just beside the hotel. A few convenience stores also located within walking distance from the hotel.

The hotel location is right in front of the ocean and the view is beautiful if you can get the ocean front rooms. It doesn’t necessary have to be on the front side of the building, the rooms on either side have a slightly oblique windows, so maybe some partial view of the ocean can be viewed. Ocean suites is located at the Jeju city, only about 5-10 minutes from the airport and have a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel staffs have good English, and very informative, especially about the transportation choices to some of the tourist attraction on the island. The manager gave us a good idea about taking the limousine bus from the airport to get to Seogwipo and Jungmun tourist complex. The room is large with separate bedroom and living room, the largest hotel room we had in Korea! The mattress is rather hard for us and one of the let down is the stains on the couch. One note when booking this hotel, only a few booking website that can be used in booking this hotel (we used agoda.com), and the official website of the hotel doesn’t have the best instructions in English about how to book. Maybe this can be an area of improvement. Overall, Jeju is a beautiful island and have many attractions that we haven’t seen yet, and possibly we will use Ocean Suites Hotel again when we comeback again.

Robero Hotel is very nice, cozy and has beautiful lobby interior. I stayed for 3 nights and it was very relaxing. My room was on the 6th floor, high enough to see the ocean view from my room window. I tried to request if I can move to a higher floor but the receptionists said no more rooms on the higher floors. Well, that is fine. I can still see the ocean though some buildings and establishments blocking it :) Room was spacious for a solo traveler like me and the bathroom were nice and clean. There were 24-hr convenience stores, cafes and restaurants nearby. Just infront of the hotel is the historical pavillion, similar to old palaces in Seoul and just a few walk, you will see the entrance of the underground shopping center. Bus Stop is near. For those who booked for a group tour with YEHA Tours, Robero Hotel is one of their pick-up and drop-off locations. So, you dont need to go to nearby hotels to pick you up. I booked for Yeha Tours and they picked me up in the hotel's lobby.

Everything is good other than the shuttle bus has specific timetable. It is not for anyone catching early flight or arriving late in Jeju. We booked this hotel for free shuttle but we ended up paying for taxi for both ways. Also, when we ask for extra bottles of water, they said we have to pay for extra one. Everything extra you will have to pay. Other than that, everything else is good. Great location closes to different convenient store and main jeju city street. Also, the double bed room is spacious. The remote control that control lighting, AC and TV is very handy! This is so far the only four stars hotel that doesn't have smart toilet that we stayed in Korea.

It was a good stay. Services at reception is good. One of the front desk gentleman helped to book Taxi Tour for us. The 2 cabbies we booked over 2 days are relatively reliable and informative. The service can be further improved by providing welcome cocktail drinks. Next, there isn't 24 hours room service where we could order foods/drinks to dine inside our room. Last,there is a shuttle bus that ferry guest to the beach but this was not promoted by your front desk and thus tourist isn't sure what good is the beach for.

Stayed for 2 nights when we were in Jeju Island. Room is very clean, good decoration, clean bathroom, smell nice, and best service provided by the receptionist. When I book for the taxi tour in the morning, the owner of the hotel will all of his kindness help me to translate anything to the cab driver and he even recommend which place or route fo the tour. Truly from the bottom of my heart, I really appreciate his help and thousands thanks to him. Even when we're leaving from the December hotel to the Jeju Airport, the owner of the hotel help us call the taxi and help us brought our luggage to the cab. Gosh,,I couldnt say anything anymore for the best service that he provided. The other receptionist in the night shift help me with all his effort to tracked down for the small problems which we encounter during our trip. We thought we were overcharged when we were having lunch at a restaurant (it cost us 80,000 won for 5 person). After we came back from the tour at the night, I just asked to the guys in the receptionist if is it normal that it cost us that much for a lunch for 5 person. Then with all his effort, he tracked down over the phone for the taxi company, taxi driver, search for the restaurant in the internet then called the restaurant just to confirm about this. Thanks to you mr. Receptionist (i'm sorry i forget the name), you are the best. Surely i recommend you to stay here. I promise you wont be disappointed with this hotel and service. Five stars for this hotel :)

Nice hotel. Comfy rooms. Very close to a nice walking street with many shops and restaurants. Lively neighbourhood. One and only downside: For whatever reason, that was never explained. We had no control over the temperature of the room. We stayed in winter, and the room was like an oven. If being a baked potato is your thing, you'll love it. Wrap yourself up in foil and enjoy.. But neither of us could sleep in that heat. Sooo it was a long and crappy night for us both. The hotel staff was nice enough to bring a fan up to the room, so that we could enjoy a convection oven instead. Perhaps they have fixed this temperature problem. Maybe it was just in our room. I have no idea. Call ahead, and ask if you're going to be slow cooked all evening. If not... Book this place! It's lovely. Besides having an absolutely terrible time, we found the place quite lovely.

We visited Jeju island and stayed at Hotel Whistlelark from 2-4 August. Checked out on my wife's birthday, 5 August, for a flight to Seoul Gimpo then onward to our hotel in Seoul. Unfortunately, my wife fell sick and in our haste to get to the airport on time, she had absent mindedly left her wedding band, earrings and a hair tie in the hotel room toilet. We were panicking as we reached the Korean Air check in counter only 15mins before the boarding gate closed. As such, there was no way to turn back and retrieve the ring. Also, Korean Air almost didn't allow us to board as we arrived pretty late. Praise God, the flight was delayed by 15 mins. However, we were given instructions to board immediately. Using our super limited Korean (mostly English), we communicated to the Korean Airlines front desk staff that we needed their assistance to inform Hotel Whistlelark that my wife had left her wedding band behind (the hotel had no Email address stated and we were using the rented WiFi router and had no way to call them as we had no data plans). Cut to the chase - 2 days later, we received the wedding band, hair tie and earrings sent by courier arranged by Hotel Whistlelark to our hotel in Seoul (costs borne by us of course). I would like to commend them for their honesty and efficiency for returning an item of such sentimental value to us. Thumbs up 👍👍👍 to Hotel Whistlelark for going the extra mile to return my wife's items and I would definitely recommend your place to all who want to visit Jeju. 감사합니다!!! 👏👏👏 ♥️♥️♥️

Love the hotel location as it’s near to the airport. Perfect for us who’ve got an early morning flight. Has a direct bus to airport or hotel staff can book a taxi for you. Near lots of restaurants with yummy, affordable & non-pretentious local food. Has a small bathtub but it’s better than no tub at all :) 1 of the male staff speaks very good English but the others speak ok English and ok Chinese. Good service though, they helped us figure out our way and what bus to take etc. Only downside is that hotel doesn’t provide money exchange services. (Some 4 & 5 star hotels do.) We were out of money on a Sunday evening and all the banks and money changers in the vicinity were closed. Directed to the airport money changer which was ALSO CLOSED!! Had a major scare and spent lots of time before we found another money changer (some tears shed in the process) and we missed out one last attraction we wanted to go. But this was our fault really, for taking for granted that we’ll be able to change cash easily. Some other cons: Housefly in the room when we checked in, but we quickly killed it. The wind or another people opening/closing their own doors sometimes makes it sound like someone is banging on our door which is kind of scary. Ventilation system (which honestly many hotels have this issue) makes it such that sometimes we smell other people’s poop or bathroom smell........ Other pros: window can be opened to air the room. Overall, would consider staying at this hotel again at this price or lower.

We had a great stay at Best Western Hotel. The room was lovely and and very roomy for three big luggages. The sink is at the dressing table instead of being inside the bathroom, so that was quite strange to get used to. Reception staff recommended us nice places to go for food (wrote the address on paper for the taxi drivers and all) and assisted us to book a taxi to the airport. Only fault was that we couldn't toggle the room temperature, so we had to open the windows to get some air in. Would stay here again!

My room was upgrade to the sea side of the hotel. The staff were very nice and got my bags for me. When I was hurt, the staff did all they could to help me. Didn't get any discounts really but the didn't charge me for the time I used the gym when I got hurt by faulty equipment, the rang to check up on me and I got a plate of free fruits. For such a nice hotel and the price I paid, I am a little surprised as to how all the facilities cost extra to use. Its very easy to rack up an expensive stay if you the facilities of the hotel but the rooms were nice and the lobby was large and classy.

Rooms are clean and alot better than i expected, and the staff are helpful when being asked about tourist locations. my booking didnt come with breakfast, but wow the breakfast although abit higher priced for a walk-in, was one of the best buffet breakfast i had so far. Downside of the hotel is that, the casino is very empty, only a few players on the blackjack tables while the rest of the other games are all empty. and the indoor pool, gym and sauna requires additional fees to use it (hotel guests gets discounted rates). not sure about the outdoor pool, due to it being winter.

Room is relatively small as compared to our stay in island blue hotel at the south of Jeju but the design layout with a modern finish gave us a spacious feeling. Everything are very new and comparable to stars hotel we stayed in other countries before ,except that there are no facilities. The reception staffs have been a great help when we wish to check out fishing trip and nearby amenities. Parking is a breeze as there is on site staff to take care of it with their high tech, space efficient parking system. Overall, it is a great experience to stay in hotel with jeju! Thanks~

Location was great for catching a morning flight. There were alot of shops around the hotel where you could go about shopping for last minute items before you leave. Staffs tried their best to help you but I felt that there were a lack of staff as when we checked in there was only one guy at reception and he was helping several guests all by himself. I do salute him however as he really did do his best to accommodate to all the guests. Nevertheless, the hotel was super clean and rooms were really big for the price paid.

Hotel star overrated, I expected 4.5 star standard hotel, but Agoda overrated the hotel, I was disappointed. Rooms are really small, no tooth brush and tooth paste supplied. The electric sockets were out of order, possibly the fuse was burnt, no electricity supplied even you plug the electirc applicances into the sockets. We complained to hotel reception gentleman around 20:00, but his English was very poor, we have to explained him many times , finally he understood and agreed to send an electrican to the room to check and repair. When we came back around 23:00, the condition was the same! Nothing was repaired. The electrican came and use different water pot to plug onto the sockets, finally he realised the problem of the fuse and requested to give him more time to repair. How come we complained at 20:00 and nothing was repaired until midnight! My friend refused him to repair and requested reception to change the room immediately, the reception ignored their own fault and requested my friend to pay the extra for the upgrading the room! Of course my friend refused to pay the extra for the room. Finally the hotel agreed to upgrade the room free of charge in the midnight. Ramada is the international brand, I stayed in Ramada hotels in different countries, but this is the poorest Ramada hotel! I never stay in this Ramada Encore Jeju Yeon-dong hotel again.

I stayed for 3 nights in a comfortable double room. Lots of space for luggage and good size bathroom. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of convenience stores, places to eat and a great cafe right next door - About Coffee & Dessert. A taxi takes about 10 mins from the airport. I would recommend paying for the breakfast here, as it is reasonably priced with a decent delicious selection of food. The staff were all friendly, spoke English and were very helpful.

There are plenty of restaurants, shops, and convenient stores located within walking distance to the hotel, which is a plus. Hotel staffs speak English and Chinese, so communication was a breeze. Looked like a number of chinese speaking group tours seem to prefer staying at this hotel, as we had seen a couple of chinese-speaking groups throughout our stay here. The room was clean and big, with our room windows overlooking a garden located at the back, which was a nice view in the snowy winter. :) We asked for a double non-smoking room, but due to unavailability, they gave us a room with a semi-double bed and a single bed, which as a more-than-adequate upgrade for us. :) Breakfast is pretty expensive if your package doesn't already include it, but with the amount of choices available around the hotel, it wasn't a bother for us. Hotel is situated about 7 - 10mins from the airport, and the drop-off point is just by the main road adjacent to the hotel. The main road has several buses for traveling around too, if you know the way. Overall, would recommend this hotel! :)

The location was why we booked this place. Near to the airport, bus terminal and eateries. Going to the airport was the only time we used the cab and it only cost us 4800 won . The staffs were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beds were made everyday. There's a small convenient store on the ground level. The downside of this hotel is that they only give 1 room key ( I Guess it's a Korean thing) and to enter the gym, you need to pay a certain fee. Toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided. Toilet lack of racks. Overall, would definitely come back again.

The location is good in terms of proximity. There was a nearby bus stop from the hotel for the normal commute & for the hop on/off bus. It's very near the airport too. It was also easy to get a taxi going to the downtown area for shopping & sight seeing. There are many convenient stores & restaurants nearby. The receptionist was also friendly & tried his best to communicate in English. The room is quite small. They could also improve on their cleanliness because there were some dust on the floor & housekeeping would just go to the room to get garbage & give daily supplies. It looks like they didn't sweep enough for the next guests using the room.

It has whatever you will need for a place to sleep overnight. Staffs cant speak much english and one of them made us wait almost 30minutes for check in without even a sorry for his inefficiency. Parking space right in front of the lobby is small and can at most accommodate 15 cars. Do not, however, turn in into the multi storey carpark right opposite the hotel as you would need to pay for it. Get the hotel staff to advise on alternative free parking sites very nearby.

The room has a balcony and it's facing the temple opposite the hotel. It was winter with heavy snow, the balcony was filled with snow and with a snowy white view of the temple opposite, it was superb! Room wasn't spacious but it fits the 4 of us, so we are satisfied. Bus stop is just 5-10 mins walk away from the hotel, and there's convenient shop located just the opposite road of the hotel. Walk about 10 mins you'll find restaurants. It quite near to Iho Taewoo beach, it took us about 25-30 mins to reach the beach by walk. Overall, satisfy with the 2 nights stay.

Newly renovated. Value for money. The location is pretty good. Quite a few attractions are within walking distance. But you need an extra ride getting to the Jeju Bus Terminal. The staff cannot really speak English, but for basic check-in/out, it shouldn’t be a problem. For my case, there might be a bit of a mixed-up in my booking and the 3rd bedding was not provided. I used my limited Korean and the staff resolved the problem promptly.

First of all, it is a great stay experience at this hotel. It is not very far from airport if you really knows where is it. I had a hard time finding it and the bus driver even took us to the wrong place even after showing him the address. Most of them not even know where is it. We finally got there by taxi, but the taxi driver also need to discuss with his colleague through phone for a while. The staffs are very helpful. Once ask them a question through hotel phone but they didn't understand, one of the staff straight away approach at our room immediately for further clarification. And the best part is helping us to make calls e.g. booking a rental car... The room is big with comfortable & clean bed. Eventhough it stated that the max guests to stay in the room is 2 but they allow 3 of us to stay in. Furthermore, they provide extra bed with blanket without further charges. Really thumbs up!!! There is a small parking lot just in the hotel, so it save us alot of time from finding a place to park our rental car. In short, it is a worthwhile stay in this hotel and would recommend for others who would like a nice, clean, cheap place to stay.

immediately shocked by the greeting/opening of the Hotel door upon our arrival by an employee who greeted us with a friendly, welcoming smile. Check-in was quick and easy. the rooms were very clean and comfortable. the bathroom in our Superior twin room was a bit cramped but wasn't bad. the hotel was easy to find and very accessible. the concierge was incredible, helping me find what i was looking for in Jeju at all hours of the day, even booking a large taxi van for our group of 5. a few complaints would be regarding the Air Conditioning in the room. upon arriving in the room an attendant came to check the AC. we left it on to cool the room off while heading out for a few hours only to come back to a warm stuffy room. the phone connection to the front desk didn't work so we physically had to go down ourselves to ask for help and a phone call was made instantly. however the temperature in our room didn't change and if you weren't sitting in front of the window you were sweating. we left the window open overnight risking mosquitos coming in because there were no screens on the windows, but it was better than sweating to death. one other complaint would be about the casino, we very much enjoyed it the first night but upon returning the second day for some play they didn't open upon stated time 5pm and after waiting 30 mins, we left along with multiple other foreigners who we later saw jump in a taxi to another casino. the blackjack was great though, just wished they opened on time. check out was easy and the concierge held our luggage all day until our flights that evening.
