"Historic hotel complex right in the heart of Fort Lauderdale on Los Olas Blvd....booked The Riverside Hotel for exactly that reason and was not disappointed in the least. All kinds of unique shops and restaurants in every direction.........you can't go wrong at all.......just get out and walk and enjoy everything Los Olas has to offer. The Riverside Hotel was well appointed........rooms were fairly large......very clean and quite quiet.....good sound proofing. As soon as you step foot in the door, and actually even before you are greeted and treated royally.....luggage was taken care of and put into storage as our cruise ship arrived early and we got to the hotel around 10AM so that allowed us the freedom to explore until our room was ready. I'd definitely stay again and would also tell anyone going to Fort Lauderdale that this is the place you should really consider in staying at. Cab ride to hotel from cruise port was about $16 and to the airport from the hotel was around $19."

"I traveled for this trip with my teenage daughter and her small dog and we all could not have been more pleased with this hotel. First, location is prime, right by the riverfront and Las Olas. Second, the staff - from the valet services (supreme) to the front desk to the bar staff and housekeeping. No words! Lastly, the room was exactly what the pictures showed and had more modern conveniences than I had imagined! The stay was only for 3 nights yet I would have happily extended it to a week if I could. Now who can say that about a hotel stay??? "

"Everything about 15FTL was perfect. The grounds are beautiful, the attention to details, the stunning rooms. Everything was provided, from beach chairs and towels, to sunscreen and fantastic breakfasts. The owners are the best and the value is unbeatable. The beach is just a walk away and cabs are inexpensive and plentiful to take you anywhere you'd like to go. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. "

"We stayed for at the Dalmar Hotel for three nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. The hotel's common areas are beautiful and while the rooms are small, they are tasteful and clean. The service, however, was horrible. We waited for an hour at breakfast for an order of avacado toast, which was ice cold upon arrival. Upon returning to our room around 3:30 pm, it was still not made up, despite indicating "please make up room" on the door. The pool was staffed with one bartender, which was not enough to keep up with all of the guests. I would like to stay here again to enjoy the ambiance of the hotel, but am unlikely to do so because of the service."

"There was no soap or shampoo in the shower area and the room had a weird smell. There was no parking and if you are lucky to find parking, you better get ready to pay premium price. "

"Larry the manager of the Dalmar was great at helping guests. The bed was so comfortable. Coffee in the room was good. It's a 10 minute walk to Los Olas. Plenty of restaurants and the water taxi. Theatres close by but shut for holidays. Breakfast was continental and this was unexpected as we thought they advertised a full breakfast. But I found fresh blue and straw berries, plain yoghurt etc. They had pancakes, scrambled eggs & French toast on different days. Complimentary cheese, wine and beer Sunday to Thursday. Live entertainment in the Dalmar hotel lobby."
