* Located directly at the Blood Compact shrine & the soon to be completed Bohol Friendship Park. * Best part of the room are the big comfortable bed & an ocean view balcony. * There are 2 infinity pools with wonderful seating area where you can just zone out. * The 3 piece band at night was relaxingly great. Prop to lead singer who have an amazing voice. * The complimentary breakfast is simple but good enough to start the day without getting hungry. * Island City Mall is just 100php away by tricycle. * Motorcycle is also available for rent at the hotel. * Souvenir shops are available just beside & across the street from the hotel. * A basic 24 convenience store is also available across the street.

Hotel is near ferry terminal + hotel provides free shuttle. It's fine for the price paid. Only bad thing is breakfast, tasteless food and no choice at all, mainly philipino dishes. Area is not that great but generally whole city is underdeveloped and super dirty. I only recommend to take tricycle to Island City Mall - 30 pesos on way, it's the only clean and fine place in whole town

metrocentre hotel is a good hotel choice if you want convenience in terms of accessibility. the hotel is situated within the city, and is around 5 minutes away from the airport. malls, cafes, and restaurants around the hotel are easily accessed by walking or by riding tricycles. there is even a 24/7 souvenir and convenient store right across the side entrance of the hotel. it is also near the well-known panglao island, thus, tours for island hopping can easily be started on time. the staff are very friendly and helpful. they always greet you and offer assistance, whether it's for room service, or for touring purposes. the rooms are large, and there is a wide selection of channels on their cable tv. the place is cleaned well, and the room allows good sleep quality. the restaurants serve really great tasting food. we have tried asiatica, which offers japanese, thai, chinese, and such in their menu. the taste of their food is definitely of hotel-quality. breakfast served at the cafe downstairs was also satisfying. there was no buffet, but you can choose among their continental, american, and filipino breakfasts. for me, the selection was already enough, and they also tasted good. overall, metrocentre hotel is worth choosing due to its location and convenience, especially if you are touring around bohol. it gives great service with their friendly staff, and you also get to have a free service to and from the airport/pier. as a traveler, i think that metrocentre caters well to your budget.

It's one of the newest hotels at Tagbilaran City, so amenities are new. Ambiance and design are modern and chic. All staff were very attentive to our needs. Service was fast: a minute you hang up the phone, the next they're already outside your door, lol. Complimentary breakfast isn't your typical instant coffee or free but bland hotel food; it's well presented. Speaking of food, everything from their restaurant was satisfying to the sight and taste. Prices were fair, if not cheap from a tourist's point of view. Best thing is it's just 5 or so minutes away from Island City Mall and the airport.

Great location! It is just near the port of bohol. It is walking distance to a mall and some restaurants. The front desk staff are all friendly specially to Vanessa and Jeanybelle. They attended our needs and answered our querries about the island. They are like family to us. And we miss them! I will surely be back again to this place if we go back to the beautiful island of bohol. Thank you once again from all of us!

We stayed here for 5D4N. If you're only a group of 2 to 3 persons, I would suggest room 205. It is close to wifi router and really spacious. Here are my comments. 1. Staff- They are so responsive and welcoming. 2. Breakfast/choices of food: I loooove all they served us. They also have value meals from 85php to 100php with rice and ice tea. Super affordable and worth it! Must try, adobo. 3. Room- Spacious, has water heater, has electric plug in bedside. Clean bed that smells fresh with great mattress and duvet. I really had a very good sleep. There's also a lot of storages which I like the most. Aircon is also good but a little bit noisy. Tv is good also with cable channels. 4. Wifi/Interner- We we're lucky to stay in room 205 because the wifi router is literally outside our room so the wifi signal is really strong. But there are time I can't connect to the internet that's why I had to stay in the reception area for a fast internet. If you're travelling for business, it's better to bring your own pocket wifi because their internet is unpredictable. Sometimes it's super fast but sometimes it's close to nothing :( 5. Facilities: Restaurant is okay. And they have a swimming pool. But for those who are travelling with elderly or pwd, the hotel does not have elevator :( Also, make sure to load your cellphone because they can't call outside Bohol. :( 6. Location: Very close to airport (5-10 mins drive). It's also close to Island City Mall (5-10 mins drive), banks and other convenience store. Overall, we had a very good time in Arabelle suites. Very friendly and helpful staff, the best we have had in the Philippines. They arranged our washing for us very quickly and helped us with directions and ferry times. They were really lovely! The breakfast included was good, especially the French toast with mango. The room we had was very nice, clean and comfortable and had big windows and was spacious, however our friends who did not book through Agoda did not have a decent room - it was small and had a tiny window so I think they reserve the best ones for Agoda customers! I would certainly recommend this hotel for staying in Tagbilaran.

We booked two deluxe rooms for three nights, at a competitive, affordable price. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean but the furnishings appeared to be quite dated. We encountered some small cockroaches in the bathroom and cabinet of one of the rooms (staff were quick to spray them). The floors are timber so heavy footsteps in the hallway can easily be heard, which started early each morninng. Location is quiet but not walking distance to anywhere (about a ten min tricycle ride to the nearest mall, although we preferred the larger Island City mall). The staff of the Best Grand Suites were exceptionally friendly and helpful - they always made us feel very welcome and they were responsive to all our questions & needs. Their free shuttle service to and from the port was also gteatly appreciated. Breakfast (selected from a menu) was both generous and delicious. In summary, we enjoyed our stay and we would be happy to return. Thank you everyone!

VERY HAPPY with our weekend stay at the Hotel :) We were welcomed at the Airport, Free Shuttle Service, Great Food , Brew POint Cafe/Restaurant offers very reasonable Coffee,food prices, Great FREE Platter Breakfast (Filipino/American/Continental), near BQ MAll, Island City Mall (Prawn Farm (very much recommended), Helpful, cheerful,Hospitable staff. WELL RECOMMENDED!THumbs UP!! I will definitely go back in this Hotel :)

we stayed there for business and leisure.rooms are cheap but with no breakfast.They even have 985p rooms. 2 single bed rooms for people who want to really save. We just ride the tricycle to go to the Island City Mall. 10 peso per person ride you can walk if you have the time around 15 to 20 min. approx. If you want to go to a nice beach quiet and clean just visit Bohol Beach Club (BBC). Try to look for a ride going there and pay a fee 500p upon entering if on weekends, cheaper if on weekdays. The 350p is consumable for food, 150p is for swimming this is the breakdown on the 500p when we went there. Can't go to bohol without going to the beach :)

The hotel was built in 1970s (and claims to be the first hotel in Tagbilaran), so everything is quite outdated but, considering the price, where else you can get a swimming pool and a large room for P1050? The room itself is clean, just looks very old. There were not many customers so sometimes I felt like staying in a personal hotel :-D Just a short P30 trike ride from the airport, and P40 to the city centre, the hotel is on the main road so no problem to catch a trike even late. There's a Korean restaurant in the hotel, tried once and the food was quite good, prices are adequate considering it's Korean food. Would consider coming again for this price should I need to stay once more in Tagbilaran city. Just don't expect the facilities to be modern - look elsewhere (and probably for either higher price or simpler facilities) if you need that.

Location is ok, in the center of Tagbilaran, not far from the port though in a small dark area when night comes. Same remark as for Panglao, demand is apparently higher than the supply that's why I felt it was quite pricey for what you get. Room is really basic of a local hotel, bed is ok but not really comfortable, no blanket. It was noisy in the morning and it also feel a bit unsecured in the area at night. Breakfast served in room which is nice though the breakfast was ok but very very simple. I do not expect anything special from a small local hotel like this, but the fact is that it feels a bit expensive for what it is even I guess it's the trend and normal there. So overall I would say ok for a night but not more.

We had booked this hotel, because it advertised that it had a pool and a restaurant. The restaurant was closed down and the pool was unswimmable and full of debris. The hotel looked very tired. The small lobby was dominated by a dirty aquarium and dusty piled up computers. Many areas of the hotel were in disrepair. In the room the paint was scraped, several lamps were without light bulbs. It was noisy from traffic. It was located on the out skirts of town and the closest place to eat were at the Island City Mall, which was a 20 minuet walk away.

It is my first time booking online, though a bit hesitant, I find Haven and gardens Hotel a perfect choice. It has a good location - near the airport. Though our room is in the 3rd floor and no lift, it was the least of our concern. The room itself is clean and spacious. The staff could have been friendlier and accommodating - the reception I mean. But there's always a room for improvement. Sp. thanks to the room boys who assisted us, sorry haven't taken their names.

Besides the AC was really loud, the size of the room actually is really big comparing to normal philippine's economic type of hotel. A bit old fashioned, but very neat and clean. Some features are old but still functional well.. But, yes, the AC was too loud I had to turn it off when I felt a bit cooling down. No hassles at check in when I arrieved really late without the credit card I used to book the room, no hassles at check out when I actually left around 1 pm actually 1 hour passing the check out time.. Very friendly and understanding staff. Very close to the panglao island..but far from alona beach so don't think Bohol island is small like boracay...but the tricycle is very convenient.. If u like local experiences. Not a place for luxury enjoyment but definitely good for transit and I would spend another time there in Bohol again...the price is really good for the condition...
