Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Wonderful breakfast. I arrived the hotel in the evening, around 9pm, and I have informed that I will be having a late check-in. The evening receptionist (lady) speaks wonderful english and is fluent. When I arrived at the airport, the money exchange stalls are ALL closed. One must take note of this when arriving at night. So obviously I only have USD. But went to the tourist information and they called up the hotel for help. I spoke with the female receptionist and got to know that taxi fare will not exceed 5000 won. Luckily i have enough to pay for the taxi :) Bus stop is not very far but u have to walk for about 7 minutes or so. I love to walk to so no issue for me. Station is Dohodong station. Take Bus 26 or 502 to go to the Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal. From there you can go to many sights around Jeju. I did not join any tours and just used the buses around Jeju. But if you want to join, there is one that picks up passengers who join the tour at the hotel. They pickup directly from there and take you back to the hotel as well. Will try this next time I go to Jeju. Location is not that bad. U have to walk a couple of blocks to go to the shopping areas, but it is not very far. You can take the bus though but I chose to walk since the weather is cool. Duty free shops also there. It is a safe location with a few 7-11s and other convenience shops. But make sure you know a little Korean (or Mandarin) as english is not very well spoken by the locals. Staff is quite helpful. As for the rooms, it is clean. I chose not to have my room cleaned daily, hence I put out the Do not disturb sign outside my door. I saw a small blood(?) stain on my sheet though, but it did not bother me. Room is spacious and good enough for me.

The Hotel is very nice with a very good location as well. I actually booked a room with a seaview on the upper floor, but as I checked in near the evening (after I finished my day tour), I was informed that the room with direct seaview in the upper floor is fully occupied, the reception staffs then give me a room with a side view of the sea and free vouchers for breakfast in the next morning as complimentary. Anyway, as I was only staying for one night, so I'm just okay with the deals. The Breakfast was really nice. The Hotel's location is superb, across the hotel was kinda a court with seaview, around the hotel there's lots of eateries from seafood to the famous black pork. Shopping street and Local Markets are just few mins walk. I'm likely to book this hotel again on my next visit to jeju. Notes : It's just I think since I already booked the hotel with advanced payment, I think whether or not I arrived late, there's should be at least a room based on my request been ready for the day because I had paid for it.

The Howard Johnson was perfect for our trip to Jeju Island. Many reviews say to stay in Seogwipo-si if you’re on the island for multiple days but we opted to stay in Jeju-si for 4 days and 3 nights. The Howard Johnson is incredibly close to the airport and easy to get to via bus (download the Kakao app to get up-to-date bus information, Korea’s google maps essentially). The HJ is located in the new downtown area with many restaurants and the Lotte duty free mall within walking distance. The old downtown with Dongmun market is a short bus ride away. We took a day trip to Seogwipo, saw the main sites. While Seogwipo was beautiful, we found much more things to do in Jeju around the HJ. In terms of facilities, it is a newer hotel so everything looks new. The bed was comfortable and you can control your own AC. The TV was also a sleek newer LED LG TV. The hotel doesn’t have a gym or a pool, however, so plan for that. All around, great value and would stay again.

Wanted to stay at a quieter place away from Jeju city, but not too far away from the airport either. This is a new hotel, so gave it a try. Booked a deluxe room (double + single beds) with sea views. Room was located at a higher floor. It was spacious and the amenities were very new. Location wise, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel that goes to the city. However we didn't use it. Took a taxi whenever we wanted to go to the city, cost around SGD8-10 per trip. Most of the reception staff understood and spoke minimal English (only met 1 or 2 whom could speak really well). However, it would help if you could try to speak slower and do some research beforehand on the places that you wanted to visit. Despite the language barrier, they were still very helpful towards understanding my requests and helped to act as a translator between the taxi driver and us. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was an optional add-on. Quite expensive though the food quality was not bad. Limited dining options around the hotel. There is a fast food chain outlet (Lotteria) around 8mins walk away from the hotel. A fried chicken chain outlet (Nene chicken) just beside the hotel. A few convenience stores also located within walking distance from the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Suites Hotel in Jeju. The staff was very helpful at all times. Our room was very spacious with a double bed and a twin bed which was unexpected. The room had a large tv, but very few English channels. We were able to get CNN. The best was the location facing the ocean with a view to the Harbor. I recommend the Ocean View! The only drawback was no internet connection in the room. Free WiFi was available in the Lobby and the Business Center, but not in the room. We did not eat in the restaurant, and the cafe was not open.

Staff very helpful, they will call up tour agencies and taxi services on your behalf to book for you. Location is brilliant. Food & shopping all within walking distance. The Catholic Cathedral is just behind the hotel about 5 mins walk. Jeju Folk museum and shrine 20 mins walk. Jeju pier 15 mins walk. Dongnum Market 15 mins walk. Jeju National Museum and Songnam Peak 30 mins walk. Yongduan rock 20 mins walk. The YEHA tour and other tours pick up and drop off in front of the hotel. We spent 7 nights here and loved it.

After reading hundreds of reviews and comparing hotels for the best location, value for money and quality of service, I picked Hotel Leo. And I made the right decision! Hotel Leo locates in New Jeju, ~10 minutes from the airport by car. Location wise, it is superb. Close to the airport, shopping and food streets, Lotte duty free and bus stops. The bus stop 10 steps away from the hotel is Grace Hotel Stop which is a convenient stop to go around jeju city. Halla Hospital stop is ~7 minutes walk, close to Lotte City Duty Free and connects you to further tourist attractions like Seowipo. Taxis are everywhere. The hotel is not on the main street and hence, is nice and quiet. However, my room is on level 3 and I could here cars and people outside, the staff were very apologetic about not being able to provide a room on a higher level. Because of the super comfortable bed and pillows, I dozed off easily every night despite the noise. Staff are friendly and speak very good English!

My husband and I booked Lotte City Hotel Jeju for our stay in Jeju during our honeymoon. It was an extremely comfortable stay! The room was clean and staff were friendly. We got a corner room with a view of the mountains. Hotel has washing machine and dryer downstairs too. We rented a car for our stay in Jeju and we could park in the carpark for free too. The hotel is relatively new. Will definitely book Lotte City Hotel Jeju the next time!

look no further when you are choosing for hotel in jeju. this hotel is a mere 5 mins drive from the jeju airport. it cost us above krw from the hotel to the jeju airport. this hotel is centrally located in the heart of the city where all the restaurants and shops are within walkiing distance yet the price is cheap as opposed to those hotel in the southern part of the island e.g lotte hotel. i particularly like the spacious room and the comfy duet especially during this winter time. if you need any information about the transportation or atrraction, just ask mr. eu or mr. kim at the reception and they will give you the info you need. they speak good english. overall, i am so glad that i made the decision to stay here and i will definitely come back to goodstay december hotel when i come to jeju island again!

We visited Jeju island and stayed at Hotel Whistlelark from 2-4 August. Checked out on my wife's birthday, 5 August, for a flight to Seoul Gimpo then onward to our hotel in Seoul. Unfortunately, my wife fell sick and in our haste to get to the airport on time, she had absent mindedly left her wedding band, earrings and a hair tie in the hotel room toilet. We were panicking as we reached the Korean Air check in counter only 15mins before the boarding gate closed. As such, there was no way to turn back and retrieve the ring. Also, Korean Air almost didn't allow us to board as we arrived pretty late. Praise God, the flight was delayed by 15 mins. However, we were given instructions to board immediately. Using our super limited Korean (mostly English), we communicated to the Korean Airlines front desk staff that we needed their assistance to inform Hotel Whistlelark that my wife had left her wedding band behind (the hotel had no Email address stated and we were using the rented WiFi router and had no way to call them as we had no data plans). Cut to the chase - 2 days later, we received the wedding band, hair tie and earrings sent by courier arranged by Hotel Whistlelark to our hotel in Seoul (costs borne by us of course). I would like to commend them for their honesty and efficiency for returning an item of such sentimental value to us. Thumbs up 👍👍👍 to Hotel Whistlelark for going the extra mile to return my wife's items and I would definitely recommend your place to all who want to visit Jeju. 감사합니다!!! 👏👏👏 ♥️♥️♥️

Pros: The hotel is located strategically near the shopping street of downtown Jeju. Loads of good restaurants around serving good food. The hotel manager is very helpful when we ask him for directions for restaurants nearby. He even walk out to make sure tt we did not walk the wrong direction. Cons: However, the counter staffs are not that helpful. For instance, we asked the hotel for assistance to book a cab to get to airport the following morning as we are afraid that it might be difficult to get a cab during the morning rush hour, but the hotel staff refused and asked us to go to the front to flag for a cab instead. In addition, the cleanliness of the hotel room needs to be improved as well. We book the room w jacczi, we reckoned that the jaccuzi may hv been left unused for some time. As a result when we turn on the motor, there were a lot of dirt and small insect flying out. Yucks!!! Other part of the room still consider clean.

4D3N stay at Amber Hotel Jeju. The hotel staff at reception counter can speak Chinese and English very well. Housekeeping staff also friendly and always smile warmly to hotel guests. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. We like the beds & pillows as really so comfortable that we don't wish to wake up so fast. There are cafes, fried chicken restaurants, local Korean restaurants, street shops nearby the hotel which is easily accessible by walking or short distance cab. We will recommend Amber Hotel Jeju to our friends too.

We stayed as couple for (4) Days at Best Western Jeju Hotel recently in June 2017. The Staff are helpful, they guide you where you want to go. You also can rent car at hotel.The location is superb. Just a 5-10 min walking distance, there is a Lotte Mart and E mart. Starbucks Coffee Shop is at the Lobby of the Hotel. The Street Food Lane is just behind the hotel. The Convenience Store GS25 is just beside the Hotel.

the hotel is located near the airport (about 10 mins away, approx 3000 krw taxi fare), but a little far away from the other tourist attractions especially the resort area of jeju. however, service was great (they asked which room we are in before we got in the taxi, and noted down the taxi license plate as well) and whilst the hotel seems to be a little old, the cleanliness was assured. the highlight was the buffet dinner (lovely crabs). highly recommended for anyone who is going to jeju!

lived up to it's standard. room was very clean and well maintained, toilet is spacious and very clean. a recommended place to stay in jeju. when i had doubts about my sightseeing trips, i was directed to the hotel's concierge and he was very helpful, going into detail with everything i mentioned. main thing is everyone understood english, as 90% of the people in jeju doesn't undertsand that language. now's the bad part of this hotel. as this was a very last min trip to jeju, i onlu booked this hotel the night before, and because my flight will be reaching at 9am and check in is only at 2, i called the hotel from seoul wanting to request for an early check in. but the staff who answered didn't understand english and was very rude, and hung up on me. so it left me unsure whether could it be done. but thankfully everything went smoothly when i reached the hotel. other than that, it's a great experience.

Take taxi is about KRW 5000-6000 . iv) Jeju Bus Terminal Interchange Can reach there with any buses in front of the hotel within 15 minutes. v) Baojian Street 15 minutes walk to Baojian Street. 2.Staff Friendly and helpful English and simple Chinese speaking staff . 3. Hairdryer, body and face towel and toiletries are provided. 4. Nearby shopping mall such Shilla Duty Free Shop and Lotte Duty free shop. The room is new and clean...

The hotel is situated in a good location, a lot of eating places in walking distance & shopping too. The hotel room was very clean & met all the basic needs for all 4 of us. Staff can converse in English & Mandarin, was helpful when we ask for direction. It was our first time in Jeju so I can't vouch to say it's the best location to be in, but I definitely will choose Skypark Jeju 1 hotel again on my next visit.

This hotel is located minutes from the airport and about 10-15minutes from Jeju town itself. I can't say much about the public transport in the area as I rented a car for the duration of this trip. For those who are intending to rent a car, this hotel provides parking in a parking complex across the road from the hotel itself. There are convenience stores nearby and a few restaurants within the vicinity. I would highly recommend this hotel if you have short listed it as one of your hotel choices.

Everything about this hotel is just about perfect-the clean and crisp design, the layout of the room, the furniture, the beddings, even the paintings hung in the wall! The bathroom amenities and the cleanliness of the entire room is also another highlight to praise for! I had a very comfortable stay throughout my 4-nights trip there in Jeju! Highly exeeding my expectations! The staffs are also very helpful in many ways, even translating to taxi drivers on phone for directions. Really appreciate that. Only one tiny imperfection is that-the sort of wall-pounding noise from housekeeping in other rooms in the early morning kept me awake. On the first day I thought it was some construction noise. Holiday sleeping-ins for light sleepers would not be an option here.

Newly renovated. Value for money. The location is pretty good. Quite a few attractions are within walking distance. But you need an extra ride getting to the Jeju Bus Terminal. The staff cannot really speak English, but for basic check-in/out, it shouldn’t be a problem. For my case, there might be a bit of a mixed-up in my booking and the 3rd bedding was not provided. I used my limited Korean and the staff resolved the problem promptly.

booked this hotel after reading and comparing reviews to different places. i did not know what to expect. we had a late arrival, after getting accommodated in our rooms, we inquired about grabbing dinner somewhere. the owner told us about a vips restaurant and offered to give us a ride when we were ready. when we were ready, we went down to the lobby and the owner was waiting for us. he not only took us vips, he also picked us up and took us around jeju. best of all, he took us to the airport at 8am the day we left! our room was cleaned everyday, fresh towels/linens/more coffee. the owner was very helpful and excited about sharing information about jeju and offered many options for site seeing. the reason why hotel is in great location, is because it is not far from the airport and right behind the 502 bus (which takes you to the bus terminal in less than 20 minutes- from there you can get anywhere in jeju). from the airport- as many people are not fluent in english you should tell your cab driver you are going to nulsong parktel not goodstay. also mention that it is behind hawaii officetel.

We arrived in Jeju Island on an early flight and was at the hotel around 9a.m. Due to hotel policy we could not check in until 2pm. However, luck was on our side and the frontdesk told us that if we didn't mind the smoking floor he could let us check in immediately. It was something that my girlfriend and i really appreciated as we were on a short trip to Jeju and that really helped us with our traveling plans.The casino floors were slightly on the quiet side but it wasn't really an issue or a downside to the hotel. All in all it was really a great experience for us. Staffs were helpful enough and fluent enough in English. It would certainly be a place that i recommend and would go back to on my next visit.
