Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Wonderful breakfast. I arrived the hotel in the evening, around 9pm, and I have informed that I will be having a late check-in. The evening receptionist (lady) speaks wonderful english and is fluent. When I arrived at the airport, the money exchange stalls are ALL closed. One must take note of this when arriving at night. So obviously I only have USD. But went to the tourist information and they called up the hotel for help. I spoke with the female receptionist and got to know that taxi fare will not exceed 5000 won. Luckily i have enough to pay for the taxi :) Bus stop is not very far but u have to walk for about 7 minutes or so. I love to walk to so no issue for me. Station is Dohodong station. Take Bus 26 or 502 to go to the Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal. From there you can go to many sights around Jeju. I did not join any tours and just used the buses around Jeju. But if you want to join, there is one that picks up passengers who join the tour at the hotel. They pickup directly from there and take you back to the hotel as well. Will try this next time I go to Jeju. Location is not that bad. U have to walk a couple of blocks to go to the shopping areas, but it is not very far. You can take the bus though but I chose to walk since the weather is cool. Duty free shops also there. It is a safe location with a few 7-11s and other convenience shops. But make sure you know a little Korean (or Mandarin) as english is not very well spoken by the locals. Staff is quite helpful. As for the rooms, it is clean. I chose not to have my room cleaned daily, hence I put out the Do not disturb sign outside my door. I saw a small blood(?) stain on my sheet though, but it did not bother me. Room is spacious and good enough for me.

The Howard Johnson was perfect for our trip to Jeju Island. Many reviews say to stay in Seogwipo-si if you’re on the island for multiple days but we opted to stay in Jeju-si for 4 days and 3 nights. The Howard Johnson is incredibly close to the airport and easy to get to via bus (download the Kakao app to get up-to-date bus information, Korea’s google maps essentially). The HJ is located in the new downtown area with many restaurants and the Lotte duty free mall within walking distance. The old downtown with Dongmun market is a short bus ride away. We took a day trip to Seogwipo, saw the main sites. While Seogwipo was beautiful, we found much more things to do in Jeju around the HJ. In terms of facilities, it is a newer hotel so everything looks new. The bed was comfortable and you can control your own AC. The TV was also a sleek newer LED LG TV. The hotel doesn’t have a gym or a pool, however, so plan for that. All around, great value and would stay again.

Wanted to stay at a quieter place away from Jeju city, but not too far away from the airport either. This is a new hotel, so gave it a try. Booked a deluxe room (double + single beds) with sea views. Room was located at a higher floor. It was spacious and the amenities were very new. Location wise, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel that goes to the city. However we didn't use it. Took a taxi whenever we wanted to go to the city, cost around SGD8-10 per trip. Most of the reception staff understood and spoke minimal English (only met 1 or 2 whom could speak really well). However, it would help if you could try to speak slower and do some research beforehand on the places that you wanted to visit. Despite the language barrier, they were still very helpful towards understanding my requests and helped to act as a translator between the taxi driver and us. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was an optional add-on. Quite expensive though the food quality was not bad. Limited dining options around the hotel. There is a fast food chain outlet (Lotteria) around 8mins walk away from the hotel. A fried chicken chain outlet (Nene chicken) just beside the hotel. A few convenience stores also located within walking distance from the hotel.

We had a pleasant stay at Ocean Suites Jeju Hotel. It's only a short taxi journey from Jeju International Airport. We were allowed to check-in early without incurring any extra charges. The room was to our surprise amazingly superb! Our standard twin room came with a double bed and a single bed. Lots of amenities are available including a large TV, floor heating (for the winter), mini fridge, smart toilet - you name it, they have it. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, there is a supermarket nearby and the main shopping belt of Jeju is also a 10-minute walk away. However, it might took more time to travel to the other sightseeing attractions on the island. Nevertheless, our stay at this hotel is very pleasant and satisfactory and we strong recommend it to anyone who are visiting Jeju.

Good hotel for travelers who are going outside instead of staying in the hotel. It has good location where a bus stop to airport is nearby. For shoppers, it’s close to Chilsungro Shopping Town, Jungang Underground Shopping Centre and Dongmun Market. Make use of the luggage storage service if you arrive too early for check in. Staff is nice to help. Keep the card for claiming baggage. FYI, There’s no Gym room and swimming pool inside hotel. (There is coin laundry yet I didn’t try it). Further, only one key card for one room is provided (requested but no additional card even for 2 people checked in). Also, there is shower gel, shampoo, towels, glasses and comb in toilet but not the toothbrush (so, bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste).

We stayed for 4 nights at the Leo, the staff were friendly polite and professional. The hotel is very new and has a luxry feel about it the only thing missing was some local/Jeju information leaflets in reception, we did ask but only got a map with not much detail of the city although the receptionist did mark places we asked for - the distances were deceptive and tourist information center what we thought was only 5 mins away turned out to be over half hour walk away! The bus stop from airport stopped across and in front of hotel next door for return. Plenty of shops and places to eat nearby (We did not eat at hotel - breakfast looked a little expensive, so gave a 3 as there was no option for N/A on star ratings) One of the staff even went out of his way, after we asked him a question about where to buy just one Jeju orange to try (They are very expensive!) later that evening he gave some to us as a gift!! Overall I would recommend Hotel Leo as a great hotel, but if you don't have car it can be difficult to get around as buses are not very frequent and tour buses can be expensive!

It was amazing. We didn't have anything planned so everyday, we'd ask the front desk at lvl 1 for recommendations for lunch/dinner. This is how we managed to get food preferred by the jeju locals. They would also help to call for taxi (local ones are cheaper) to go to attractions. Being situated at the jeju city area, there are many shops within walkable distance. With a data SIM card to use in Korea, you will have fun just walking around thw area. The hotel is clean and welk kept too. There was once a rainy day where we decided to stay-in so we bought instant ramyeon back but the shop forgot to give us chopsticks and it was raining quite heavily outside. So we decided to try our luck with their helpdesk. They do have chopsticks and even bought it to us with napkins. This saved our day!

Stayed for 2 nights when we were in Jeju Island. Room is very clean, good decoration, clean bathroom, smell nice, and best service provided by the receptionist. When I book for the taxi tour in the morning, the owner of the hotel will all of his kindness help me to translate anything to the cab driver and he even recommend which place or route fo the tour. Truly from the bottom of my heart, I really appreciate his help and thousands thanks to him. Even when we're leaving from the December hotel to the Jeju Airport, the owner of the hotel help us call the taxi and help us brought our luggage to the cab. Gosh,,I couldnt say anything anymore for the best service that he provided. The other receptionist in the night shift help me with all his effort to tracked down for the small problems which we encounter during our trip. We thought we were overcharged when we were having lunch at a restaurant (it cost us 80,000 won for 5 person). After we came back from the tour at the night, I just asked to the guys in the receptionist if is it normal that it cost us that much for a lunch for 5 person. Then with all his effort, he tracked down over the phone for the taxi company, taxi driver, search for the restaurant in the internet then called the restaurant just to confirm about this. Thanks to you mr. Receptionist (i'm sorry i forget the name), you are the best. Surely i recommend you to stay here. I promise you wont be disappointed with this hotel and service. Five stars for this hotel :)

Central location for Jeju City. Very near shopping district and halal restaurant (Rajmahal). Easy to get taxi and bus stops right in front of the hotel. Across Starbucks and ABC mart (shoes). Next to GS convenience store for late night food run. Love the service and amenities. 3-piece toilet for the deluxe room makes you feel pampered. The things provided in the toilet are constantly provided or replenished. There is an iron and ironing board provided. Fridge and water kettle as well! On the downside, if you need to heat up leftovers in the microwave, you will need to pass it to the hotel receptionists. They will heat it up for you. But that is more of a plus side! Breakfast spread is good. Even for halal, we were quite happy with our scrambled eggs and crispy soft waffles, cereal and bread. The high ceiling to floor windows of the city is to die for! Overall, we felt like royalty. Will definitely choose this hotel again if we plan to come back in the summer!

As we were here In Jeju island for 4D3N only, we decided to stay in Jeju city. We chose this hotel based on the reviews. McD, 7-11; cafes, black pork street and a 24hour supermarket are within 5 min walk away. Dong mun market and Jungang underground shopping centre are about 15 min away. There is a mini funfair right in front on the hotel. We specifically asked for harbour view room as we were concerned of the noise. I like the modern and minimalist design of the room. Basic amenities like hair dryer, room slippers were provided. We didn’t take the breakfast in the hotel so can’t comment. We had our coffees and bagel at the coffee place just down the road. Swimming pool was closed. Staffs were helpful.

The mountain view was really spectacular. Only 15 mins away from Jeju International. So close to Dongmun Market, Jungang-ro Underground, and other shopping streets. Not quite nice if you are looking for an actual beach get-away but well worth it if you just wanna explore the land and the city in the island. Will recommend for families who are not really looking for beach getaways which was us.

Pros: The hotel is located strategically near the shopping street of downtown Jeju. Loads of good restaurants around serving good food. The hotel manager is very helpful when we ask him for directions for restaurants nearby. He even walk out to make sure tt we did not walk the wrong direction. Cons: However, the counter staffs are not that helpful. For instance, we asked the hotel for assistance to book a cab to get to airport the following morning as we are afraid that it might be difficult to get a cab during the morning rush hour, but the hotel staff refused and asked us to go to the front to flag for a cab instead. In addition, the cleanliness of the hotel room needs to be improved as well. We book the room w jacczi, we reckoned that the jaccuzi may hv been left unused for some time. As a result when we turn on the motor, there were a lot of dirt and small insect flying out. Yucks!!! Other part of the room still consider clean.

It was great time staying at Ambel Hotel. The location is what I like most, Amber Hotel is located in the centre of Jeju-city, and is very close to the airport. Duty free shop, downtown and attractions are all in walking distance. Staff's English was not so perfect, but enough to communicate. Room condition was quite satisfying, everything was well-prepared and neat. I will stay again.

We stayed as couple for (4) Days at Best Western Jeju Hotel recently in June 2017. The Staff are helpful, they guide you where you want to go. You also can rent car at hotel.The location is superb. Just a 5-10 min walking distance, there is a Lotte Mart and E mart. Starbucks Coffee Shop is at the Lobby of the Hotel. The Street Food Lane is just behind the hotel. The Convenience Store GS25 is just beside the Hotel.

the hotel is located near the airport (about 10 mins away, approx 3000 krw taxi fare), but a little far away from the other tourist attractions especially the resort area of jeju. however, service was great (they asked which room we are in before we got in the taxi, and noted down the taxi license plate as well) and whilst the hotel seems to be a little old, the cleanliness was assured. the highlight was the buffet dinner (lovely crabs). highly recommended for anyone who is going to jeju!

lived up to it's standard. room was very clean and well maintained, toilet is spacious and very clean. a recommended place to stay in jeju. when i had doubts about my sightseeing trips, i was directed to the hotel's concierge and he was very helpful, going into detail with everything i mentioned. main thing is everyone understood english, as 90% of the people in jeju doesn't undertsand that language. now's the bad part of this hotel. as this was a very last min trip to jeju, i onlu booked this hotel the night before, and because my flight will be reaching at 9am and check in is only at 2, i called the hotel from seoul wanting to request for an early check in. but the staff who answered didn't understand english and was very rude, and hung up on me. so it left me unsure whether could it be done. but thankfully everything went smoothly when i reached the hotel. other than that, it's a great experience.

Take taxi is about KRW 5000-6000 . iv) Jeju Bus Terminal Interchange Can reach there with any buses in front of the hotel within 15 minutes. v) Baojian Street 15 minutes walk to Baojian Street. 2.Staff Friendly and helpful English and simple Chinese speaking staff . 3. Hairdryer, body and face towel and toiletries are provided. 4. Nearby shopping mall such Shilla Duty Free Shop and Lotte Duty free shop. The room is new and clean...

The hotel is situated in a good location, a lot of eating places in walking distance & shopping too. The hotel room was very clean & met all the basic needs for all 4 of us. Staff can converse in English & Mandarin, was helpful when we ask for direction. It was our first time in Jeju so I can't vouch to say it's the best location to be in, but I definitely will choose Skypark Jeju 1 hotel again on my next visit.

I only stayed at this hotel for two evenings, but it was the perfect for Solo Traveler. It was centralized in Jeju not too far from the airport with plenty restaurants around. the staff was amazing with helping me get taxie's and navigate my way to bus stops I will say I'll do with the room that I stayed in was a little bit bigger but outside of that everything was perfect

the hotel is located at the new jeju city center so it is convenient to find almost everything within reach including family mart, money changer, pharmacy, local seafood restaurants, all within 3-5 minutes walk. the airport is also just 5 minutes taxi ride away and getting taxi is just a concierge away. what i like best is the nice breakfast venue the same as the picture on agoda, and the international food selection is what you need to start the day or wrap up your trip on the last day. within walking distance to the e-mart shopping mall for all your shopping needs.

VALUE FOR MONEY: very affordable actually if you are just in a business trip. LOCATION: nearby airport and other must-see markets and shopping center in the old-jeju city. nearby also at Jeju City Hall and this street with restaurants not sure which street is that though. CLEANLINESS: for my 7 days of stay in SkyHill Hotel, they did not clean the room nor change my sheets and pillow cases. They just replace the trash bin, give fresh towels, and a bottle of water which in short not satisfied. If you are in a staycation trip this hotel is not recommended but if you are a backpacker this is good to go for you. STAFF: I cannot comment on the staff as I they are not friendly enough to greet you. FACILITIES: again, if you are just for a business trip you will not look for any facilities aside from a BEDROOM lol.

the hotel is very basic,room for families is not that big but it has 2double bed so its good for 4 person. check in and check out process was very easy. the hotel located near a great seaside and very near to the airport. 5km from dongmun market and 7km from the aport. its very convenient as we stay here in our last 2days in jeju, we're not rushing to go to the airport.it take about 10minutes to go there.

Hotel is about 8 mins from the airport. There are a few Goodstay Hotels in Jeju so remember to stress the name of the Hotel to the taxi driver. We were brought to another Goodstay Hotel but luckily was near to the one we booked. Hotel room is big with a sofa, coffee table, computer, fridge and an air purifier. Hot and cold water is supplied from a dispenser in the room. No breakfast is provided. Hotel bathroom is also very clean with tap mixers and good water pressure. There is no shower curtain and the floor gets wet after a bath, and no bath mat is provided. Nearby are many eateries. A 10mins walk from the hotel will get you to Emart, a supermarket and shopping centre, further down is Lotte Mart. Hotel is rather central for taking buses to wherever you want to go, e.g. No.502 bus will take you to the bus terminal to catch the tour bus for 5,000won, bus No. 500 to Jungang Underground Shopping Mall which is also beside the Dongman Market. just ask the receptionist or Mr Park, the kind boss who speaks some English and Malay. Some buses also go to the airport. The amenities provided in the room will tell you that the hotel management is very thoughtful of guests' comfort. Mr Park is so kind to send us to the airport on our day of departure.

We arrived in Jeju Island on an early flight and was at the hotel around 9a.m. Due to hotel policy we could not check in until 2pm. However, luck was on our side and the frontdesk told us that if we didn't mind the smoking floor he could let us check in immediately. It was something that my girlfriend and i really appreciated as we were on a short trip to Jeju and that really helped us with our traveling plans.The casino floors were slightly on the quiet side but it wasn't really an issue or a downside to the hotel. All in all it was really a great experience for us. Staffs were helpful enough and fluent enough in English. It would certainly be a place that i recommend and would go back to on my next visit.
