I regretted that I should stay more nights since here is really perfect regrading to its price.

I went here with my wife on our honeymoon. First of all, I recommend renting a car, because the hotel is about a 90 minute drive from the airport. (The hotel also has a shuttle service from the airport) However, I think the remote location is what makes it stand out, as all of Jeju's other luxury hotels are located near or in Jeju City, which can feel rather cro...I went here with my wife on our honeymoon. (The hotel also has a shuttle service from the airport) However, I think the remote location is what makes it stand out, as all of Jeju's other luxury hotels are located near or in Jeju City, which can feel rather crowded and busy. The Haevichi is located almost directly on the oceanfront. If you want luxury and 5-star amenities, while still maintaining a "retreat" feel, this hotel might suit you. The hotel's exterior, I must admit appears a bit mediocre compared to some of Jeju's other famous luxury hotels, such as the Silla. However, upon entering, the hotel is bright and modern with stone, steel and glass accents. There are also touches of greenery, which allude to Jeju's lush vegetation. The breakfast is person, but well worth it. You can choose from a variety of western, Korean and Japanese foods that will keep you full well through lunch time. Every hotel's desire is to have repeat customers, and my wife and I agreed upon checkout that this is the only hotel we will use for our future Jeju excursions.

Thus, unable to comment anything on their facilities.

Ample parking lots as compared to other hotels on the island. Decent sized room, clean and bright. Good view of the mainland but not Ilchulbong Peak though. Try your luck for a room facing the peak, so if you are too tired to venture out in the wee morning to catch sunrise, you can watch it from the room instead. There is a basement carpark but it is full even we head back early and if you want to park at night (10pm+-), there will be no parking space available anymore although they provide us a basement and a parking area opposite to the hotel (specially for hotel guest). The food at the restaurant at the hotel is good. Though the hotel doesn't provides toothbrush and toothpaste, there is also a convenient store at the hotel where you can buy them. Suggest you bring along your toothbrush, toothpaste and facial wash (not provided). All other items such as shampoo, hair conditioner and body wash are provided.

We stayed a total of 2 nights, and in the first night we discovered that the air-conditioning in our room would automatically switch off after 1 hour as there was a timer. We stayed a total of 2 nights, and in the first night we discovered that the air-conditioning in our room would automatically switch off after 1 hour as there was a timer. We tried to toggle with the remote control, but it was all in Korean so our attempt was futile. We checked with the staff the next day and they were very apologetic and tried their best to fix the problem, but to no avail. However, they offered to give us a new room to have a more comfortable night of sleep, and even allowed us to keep our original room so that we don’t have to move all our unpacked stuff into the new room. The little glitch in the air-con in the first night was nothing compared to their hospitality. Thank you for this enjoyable stay!

It's located in the middle between Seongsan Ilchulbong and Seongsan Port where you can easily drive the to get a ferry to Udo Island (I'm on tight schedule and need to get on ferry early an the morning). We didn't spend much time here, but if you're staying to hike up Seongsan Ilchulbong, it's a pretty great location; it's less than a 10 minute drive away. The room wasn't bad, pretty specious, and there weren't many cars, so it was easy for us to park. But in the morning when we checked out, there were a bunch of tour buses than pulled in, so it was a bit annoying for us to get out. And shoutout to the front desk guy. I felt bad, because we had intended to check out at 5AM, so the guy told us he would be there to check us out, but we ended up sleeping through our alarm, and didn't have time to check out in the morning. Not sure if he was there that early just to check us out, but he didn't seem too upset about it, and even asked us if we went to see the sunrise.

The couple at the reception (probably the owners of this lodging) were friendly despite our very late check-in, and while they looked pretty stern at first glance, were friendly after a few physical exchanges. While their understanding of English was limited, my rusty Korean did no help to elevate the language barrier. At last, this would be a gem if you are planning to hike the Seongsan Sunrise Peak.

We had booked in another part of the island, but the previous week's typhoon damaged it so they cancelled on us. Finding another suitable place on short notice wasn't easy. Overall I'd recommend it, but maybe view the surroundings first so you understand the location. Another typhoon came through while we were there. I can report that the units are very sturdy (and, happily, the electricity didn't go out).

Down road Goseongojo-ro , plenty of good & value food(Local Bakery spoil with choices (next to the bus stop), Chinese Tim Sim (opp bakery shop) & 14 type fried chicken menu. Travelling to sightseeing within eastern island like Udo,Iichulbong,Lava and Seogwipo . Many public bus. just know e arrive timing.

I went to Jeju with my fiance in Dec, we choose this hotel as our third day accommodation place is because is very close to the "PEAK", plus we only planned to stay there for one day. the bad thing is this hotel is located inside the country road, is not easy to find if you go there by walk, and there is no restaurants nearby, is always easy to take a taxi to go out bu...I went to Jeju with my fiance in Dec, we choose this hotel as our third day accommodation place is because is very close to the "PEAK", plus we only planned to stay there for one day. the bad thing is this hotel is located inside the country road, is not easy to find if you go there by walk, and there is no restaurants nearby, is always easy to take a taxi to go out but is hard to find one when you are trying to go out. But the best part is that the boss, is a very young nice lady, she will drive you out , she can also drive you to the bus station if you are leaving. if you are going there in the summer, and if you plan to stay there for over a week, and if you like cooking, then this place is a perfect place for you.

And the room is really big for three people, with two double bed, huge LCD TV, computer, kitchen utensils, and also a bathtub! In the morning, when we opened the curtain, the beautiful view of Seongsan Ilchubong Peak greet us! We're really touched by the old couple staff that tried hard to explain to us where we can see a canola flower in Jeju. With body gesture, they told us that the flower not blooming in Seopjikoji anymore and gave us the location where the flower still bloom. If you planning to go to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, Udo Island, or any tourist attractions in the west part of Jeju, i really recomend this hotel because the bus stop is only a minute walk from the hotel!

The room is spacious too just like a studio apartment with all the facilities like fridge, cooker, utensils, microwave. No washing machine though. Only issue is the musty sewage smell emitting from the bathroom which seem to be prominient in all the Korea apartment or hotel I went to. The hotel is just walking distance of about 5 minutes from the Haenyeong Women Diver Museum too. I will definitely choose to go back to this Hotel again!
