Our room is facing right to the ocean. It is really beautiful. The room we had is ocean view the window wall is glass so when we wake up in the morning we can see the best sunrise. Most of the time we spent in the bar as it had also the good view of the pool and the ocean. My husband likes the San Mig Light. You can get a bucket for 260 pesos( bucket contains 5 bottles of beer ) excellent hotel. The hotel rooms is very affordable. I actually booked 2 rooms in this hotel. I booked standard room for my mother and a deluxe room for us which is facing the ocean. This hotel is close also to the city. Its only 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes by public transport. You can ride a jeepney or trycikel. Trycikel cost only 40 pesos to the city and Jeepney is like 8 pesos. But if you hire a taxi it will cost you 300 pesos to the city. Beside the hotel are some souvenir shops. My husband got a nice T-shirts for 160 pesos each and he likes it.

Arrived in tagbilaran by ferry and before even getting off we look out into the city and saw a building that was higher than the others. Had a hunch that it was the Belian hotel but wasn't sure. We were thinking that if it was that, then we had scored because it was very close to the port. As we exited the port, it became clear that it was the hotel! It is a walking distance , however, like anywhere in the Philippines, you get tricycle drivers who would persist in taking you somewhere. And since it was hot and we were tired, we did ride the tricycle. Also saved us from having to carry out luggages. First impression of the hotel - very clean and modern. Especially for something in the province! They provided welcome drinks and the staff were very polite and helpful - we hadn't been to Bohol before and they were helpful in giving us directions and tours. Room was very clean too and so was the bathroom. They were both very spacious for two people. I requested for a late checkout over the phone as we were running late coming back from panglao island. But they were strict on this because they were apparently booked out. Came back to the hotel and we couldn't access the room with our key even with our luggages still inside. Had to go back to reception to ask for the key to be resetted. It was understandable that they couldn't let us check out late because it's booked for after but I would have appreciated it if they tried to understand that we only needed an extra 15 mins since we were to catch a ferry right after anyway. Instead she turned me down straight away. Also there were heaps of people who checked out even later than us. It was a very pleasant stay and good value for money. Another plus is they actually have a free shuttle service to the port so we were able to avail that. Just disappointing that we hadn't known when we arrived and had to spend money on a tricycle.

Service was fast: a minute you hang up the phone, the next they're already outside your door, lol. Complimentary breakfast isn't your typical instant coffee or free but bland hotel food; it's well presented. Speaki...It's one of the newest hotels at Tagbilaran City, so amenities are new. Prices were fair, if not cheap from a tourist's point of view. Best thing is it's just 5 or so minutes away from Island City Mall and the airport.

It was AMAZING, the staff was SO accommodating. Our ferry kept getting cancelled due to the typhoon, so for four days in a row they were able to rebook us. They had their 3 year anniversary party and invited us to partake in dinner, drinks, and karaoke. They offer breakfast with the room purchase which can be delivered to your room in the mornings! I would certainly recommend this hotel for staying in Tagbilaran.

We booked two deluxe rooms for three nights, at a competitive, affordable price. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean but the furnishings appeared to be quite dated. We encountered some small cockroaches in the bathroom and cabinet of one of the rooms (staff were quick to spray them). Location is quiet but not walking distance to anywhere (about a ten min tricycle ride to the nearest mall, although we preferred the larger Island City mall). The staff of the Best Grand Suites were exceptionally friendly and helpful - they always made us feel very welcome and they were responsive to all our questions & needs. Their free shuttle service to and from the port was also gteatly appreciated. Breakfast (selected from a menu) was both generous and delicious. In summary, we enjoyed our stay and we would be happy to return. Thank you everyone!

The price was very affordable and with a location right in the middle of town everything we needed from shopping to food to transportation were all within a 10 min walk. I would recommend this hotel to any travelers looking to stay in Bohol island. Even if you are planning on heading to the beach rather than staying in town, transportation from the hotel to the beach is easy and cheap.

We went to Panda Tea Garden Suites, we were so happy because the rooms were almost the same quality of that of MetroCentre Hotel. I am very very satisfied with my stay here, considering the very ugly hotels and inns of the same price. It's also a five minute walk away from the biggest mall in Bohol, Island City Mall or more commonly referred to as ICM. I will definitely book this hotel again!

Besides the AC was really loud, the size of the room actually is really big comparing to normal philippine's economic type of hotel. A bit old fashioned, but very neat and clean. Some features are old but still functional well.. But, yes, the AC was too loud I had to turn it off when I felt a bit cooling down. Very friendly and understanding staff. Very close to the panglao island..but far from alona beach so don't think Bohol island is small like boracay...but the tricycle is very convenient.. If u like local experiences. Not a place for luxury enjoyment but definitely good for transit and I would spend another time there in Bohol again...the price is really good for the condition...

The Hotel Price was very Cheap so we didnt expect much. You have to book a Executive Room to be able to look out the Window. Lower Categories dont have any Windows. By the Way there is a free shuttle Service to the Port and Airport from 07:30 - 18:00 I believe. We used it to the Port as we took the Ferry. Everything was very good organized.
