That was our second hotel on Panglao, we booked it like a day before, because we decided to stay few days longer here. Check the location- it is around 20mins walking to Alona Beach and to the restaurant/pub area. We were using motorbikes so it was fine, for walking I think a bit far. Also away from the main road, like a at the end of a side road. We fell safe, I don't...That was our second hotel on Panglao, we booked it like a day before, because we decided to stay few days longer here. Check the location- it is around 20mins walking to Alona Beach and to the restaurant/pub area. We were using motorbikes so it was fine, for walking I think a bit far. Also away from the main road, like a at the end of a side road. We fell safe, I don't how about girls. We had a suite on groundfloor, in front of the pool. A living room with two bedrooms and a bathroom. Enough space for our group (5people). Aircon was working more than fine, room was cleaned up every day, the personel was very kind, allowed us check out a bit longer and also stored our luggage for few hours. The guard has opened the gate many times at night, without any problem. Intercontinental breakfast included for every guest - nice addition. Just few people were in the hotel in this time so the pool area was just for us.

The room is stunning, cleaned everyday, fresh towels, free water, free toiletries and a comfy bed. The living area in the room was perfect too, comfy couch with a TV, was lovely in the evenings. The pool area is just perfect too, although some more sun loun...We stayed here for 4 nights and we wished we could stay longer...but sadly they were booked up for Christmas!! The room is stunning, cleaned everyday, fresh towels, free water, free toiletries and a comfy bed. The living area in the room was perfect too, comfy couch with a TV, was lovely in the evenings. The pool area is just perfect too, although some more sun loungers would be good in the busy times. The staff are super friendly and always smiling. The breakfast was very nice too. I would be great if the hotel served lunch and dinner too, but you can order food from nearby restaurants and they’ll deliver it to your room. Although the hotel isn’t very close to Alona Beach, a trike is only 100PHO and the staff will call you one when you need it. This truly was a perfect hotel, one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in, in Asia. 100% recommend!!

I and my daughter are happy to stay in Donatela. Nice cozy ambience, good cuisine, friendly and efficient service... feels at home immediately. Love the nature setting, seeing different species like gecko and different kinds of frogs, waking up in the morning by the sound of chirping birds, watching the horses and ponies grazing the grass, enjoying the sight of the h...I and my daughter are happy to stay in Donatela. Nice local/exotic fruit bearing trees. Well maintained surroundings. Nice accommodations of Ifugao inspired villas. Well thought of designs of the villas, very detailed.. May be few distance away from the Alona Beach but was all worth it... The price of menu in Paprika is competitive to the ones offered along Alona Beach, so worth the gastronomic experience. Quality cuisine at competitive price (to Alona Beach front restaurants) It is where we will stay the next we visit Bohol.

Manni the owner was so friendly, courteous, helpful and funny! He treats his guests very well, talks to them, assist them if they have any needs or questions. The rooms were massive and super clean! They were very patient and nice in answering our questions about Panglao and the sights/tours we can do. Hotel has its own tour packages you can avail. Aiport transport service was on time and Ariel the driver was really polite and kind, van used was in excellent brand new quality. Neutral - location. Hotel is near Alona Beach but it was kind of tiring going back and forth under the scorching heat of the sun. Especially if you needed to use the toilet (I don't know if there are public toilets in Alona beach). That would depend on your stamina I guess. It was probably a 5 to 10 minute walk. Hotel is situated across the street. Then you have to go thru the Beach's parking lot. The room also has an umbrella you can use. But the location was good if you want to be near some restaurants that were not by the shore. We were able to buy lechon manok and liempo just a few steps away from the hotel. Dunkin Donuts and other restos were close to the hotel. Con - free breakfast was just okay. 3 meals to choose from: Danggit meal - 3 pieces of small danggit, 2 eggs, small cup of fried rice and coffee. Tapa meal - same with danggit meal but with bits of tapa that looked more like tocino coz of its color. The other one was I think a tocino meal. Shower was a bit difficult to control but it was okay. Overall, I would still recommend the hotel to my friends.

All are excellent. As per review, only that during the time we are check-in, the power supply is not yet available due to current supply in bohol where affected by the earthquake in Ormoc. But the staff as we arrive informed us right away and told us we can have our refund because they tell us that they have no generator. But as we observe the place is so cool because of the trees that sorrounding the place and indeed as we enter the room we are amazed of the beauty and indeed the room is really cool. As we observed also during the stay, they have electric stove and rice cooker which you can use if you want to cook. Highly recommended and hopefully the next time they can already have their generator. Thanks ECO Hotel.

I only booked this accommodation because they have a pool and it’s close to the airport as my flight to another island was the next day. when I checked in they directly offered me the free shuttle to the famous Alona beach - That’s really surprising because usually in the Philippines they always try to make money with everything so for my opinion it’s a big plus point ...I only booked this accommodation because they have a pool and it’s close to the airport as my flight to another island was the next day. when I checked in they directly offered me the free shuttle to the famous Alona beach - That’s really surprising because usually in the Philippines they always try to make money with everything so for my opinion it’s a big plus point and if I would have know that before I would have booked it earlier because the low budget accommodations closer to the beach are really bad. I would definitely stay there again. The room was simple but nice and clean, you can also order food in their restaurant or just go to the main road there are a few good restaurants.

We need to stay near airport the next and this place is available in a very affordable price. They are very quick in responding to all my queries. They even assisted us in getting a tricycle going to airport which is only 5-10 mins from this place. This place is good for travellers who are in tight budget. Not near Alona Beach you have to take a tricycle. The comfort rooms are old and needs improvement. Although they are very clean. I'm not sure if they have rooms with their own comfort room since it was a last minute booking and we only need a place to sleep for the night.

Wifi is average and pool is clean. There are only 2 pools, 1 is chest water deep and the other is 7 feet. We found out that it is used for practice SCUBA. The "chef" seems like on a call basis. So it you are really hungry, there is no such thing as fast food. Overall, my friends and I generally liked our stay there.

First of all, we arrived a day early and the manager Dimitri, gave us the same deal we got on Agoda so we didn't have to pay any more. The room itself was spotless, spacious and modern. The place is a 10 minute ride from Alona Beach and we paid maximum 50 pesos to get to the beach. We hired a motorbike one of the days to explore the island- best rate we found was from the hotel itself rather than pricier places nearer to Alona Beach. We also organised a boat trip through the hotel to Balicasag and Virgin Islands where we were able to snorkel with turtles and explore the islands. Can also organise dolphin watching if you would like. The boat captain and guide were great and allowed us to plan our day completely. All the staff who worked there were friendly, helpful and did everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We were lucky enough to be there while the manager Dimitri celebrated his birthday and got invited to celebrate with the whole family- this included joining them for a buffet and drinks and ended our night clubbing with them. Thank you so so much to a beautiful family who were so generous and welcoming and made our stay one to remember! In our whole month in the Philippines this has been our favourite place to stay. Great personalized service, nice, delicious home-cooked meals available (Average price of food on Casa Keja restaurant ranges around P150-P230), comfortable cold aircon rooms, my room had hot shower, fast wifi available in the lobby/garden (only), but that was fine; It's nice to have fresh air anyways. White sandy beach with beautiful blue waters, and great snorkeling right in front of it. (Although the best snorkeling part for me, was right around the corners of the Rocky Doljo Point - very alive, still healthy and many fishes)

I would recommend staying here if you have your own transportation. There are no restaurants or entertainment within walking distance of this hotel. For food we went to Alona beach to eat at the restaurants there via bus, motorcycle and tricycle. There were ants in our room coming from outside. Place is very homie, quiet , clean and easy to find. Close to that Spanish restaurant. You need to AT least rent a motorcycle to get around. They also offer a motorcyle to rent at an affordable price. Owner let's you feel that you are welcome anytime there. The most exciting part for me is to come home there and play with their Dog Nero or chilling out in the swimming ...Place is very homie, quiet , clean and easy to find.
