I regretted that I should stay more nights since here is really perfect regrading to its price.

I went here with my wife on our honeymoon. First of all, I recommend renting a car, because the hotel is about a 90 minute drive from the airport. (The hotel also has a shuttle service from the airport) However, I think the remote location is what makes it stand out, as all of Jeju's other luxury hotels are located near or in Jeju City, which can feel rather cro...I went here with my wife on our honeymoon. The Haevichi is located almost directly on the oceanfront. If you want luxury and 5-star amenities, while still maintaining a "retreat" feel, this hotel might suit you. The hotel's exterior, I must admit appears a bit mediocre compared to some of Jeju's other famous luxury hotels, such as the Silla. However, upon entering, the hotel is bright and modern with stone, steel and glass accents. There are also touches of greenery, which allude to Jeju's lush vegetation. The breakfast is person, but well worth it. You can choose from a variety of western, Korean and Japanese foods that will keep you full well through lunch time. Every hotel's desire is to have repeat customers, and my wife and I agreed upon checkout that this is the only hotel we will use for our future Jeju excursions.

The room we ended up in, had a jacuzzi, a massive king size bed and 180-degrees sea view. You have to be aware that not only the breakfast is not included in the price, the rooftop pool isn’t either. You have to pay 10.000 won each, to access the knee deep pool. This isn’t mentioned on the hotel website nor on the booking site. The artist impression of the hotel and it’s location is also misleading as it’s not a beach side location. There is a beach in walking distance. There are plenty of seafood and pork restaurants nearby. Budget options for diner are a bit limited. The bus stop is nearby, so it is easy to get around. Some staff members speak English. They solved the issues during our stay.

Do note that there is no cabinet for hanging of clothes. They only provided 3 hangers in the room. Facilities: We didnt use any facilities except for the hotel parking lots which was plentiful. Thus, unable to comment anything on their facilities.

The location is very good. It’s walking distance to Seongsan Ilchibong and Gwangchiji Beach. Seopjikoji and udo are also around. This is a small and leisure area which you can easily explore by feet. There is a lot of great restaurants around the hotel. Also, hotel itself sells cheap and nice pastries. The room is super clean and comfortable. Also, this is a good option for backpackers; take a direct bus from airport, off at Seongsan Ilchubong stop and walk less than a minute to the hotel. ***If you do stay in this area, sunrise at Seongsan Ilchubong is definitely what you shouldn’t miss. And there's another extra fee for using the sunbed by the pool. I know the hotel rate is quite cheap but i would have considered a diffrent hotel if I had known i had to pay extra money to use the pool. It was an enjoyable stay at Seopjikoji Sunrise Hotel. It was a stone’s throw away from the Seongsan Ilchulbong, and there were several restaurants around. We stayed a total of 2 nights, and in the first night we discovered that the air-conditioning in our room would automatically switch off after 1 hour as there was a timer. It was a stone’s throw away from the Seongsan Ilchulbong, and there were several restaurants around. We stayed a total of 2 nights, and in the first night we discovered that the air-conditioning in our room would automatically switch off after 1 hour as there was a timer. We tried to toggle with the remote control, but it was all in Korean so our attempt was futile. We checked with the staff the next day and they were very apologetic and tried their best to fix the problem, but to no avail. However, they offered to give us a new room to have a more comfortable night of sleep, and even allowed us to keep our original room so that we don’t have to move all our unpacked stuff into the new room. The little glitch in the air-con in the first night was nothing compared to their hospitality. Thank you for this enjoyable stay!

We have lived there for three days and enjoy our vacation so much. 1) The receptionists and workers are very nice and always have imediate response to our needs. 2) This hotel is as clean as other 5 stars hotels. We can go there on foot with two little kids which are three and five years old. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone who looking for a hotel with high quality and affordable price in Jeju.

Although it is located far from Jeju city you might also consider staying this place as many good places are on the east of the island. Stayed 2 weeks for the special break and liked.

We had a great stay at the Lux, the owners were amazing, the hotel was clean and comfortable and it was in a great location. We went down to the desk one day asking how to get to Manjanggul Caves by bus and were offered a car ride instead by the owners. They were going to Jeju city and offered to drop us off on the way, it was very generous. We were also planning to fly out during a typhoon which didn't turnout and the owner offered to drive us to the bus stop and use his phone to call the airline. The hotel is also very close to Seongsan Ilchubong, Seopjikoji and two great beaches.

Great place if you want a nice clean modern apartment. Not luxurious but definitely nice. Negative for us was mainly the location. We had booked in another part of the island, but the previous week's typhoon damaged it so they cancelled on us. Finding another suitable place on short notice wasn't easy. Arts Spa and Pool Villa was great in that sense...a nice apartment...Great place if you want a nice clean modern apartment. Not luxurious but definitely nice. Negative for us was mainly the location. Arts Spa and Pool Villa was great in that sense...a nice apartment on short notice when we didn't have many good options. But the location isn't inspiring. Overall I'd recommend it, but maybe view the surroundings first so you understand the location. Another typhoon came through while we were there. I can report that the units are very sturdy (and, happily, the electricity didn't go out).

Down road Goseongojo-ro , plenty of good & value food(Local Bakery spoil with choices (next to the bus stop), Chinese Tim Sim (opp bakery shop) & 14 type fried chicken menu. Travelling to sightseeing within eastern island like Udo,Iichulbong,Lava and Seogwipo . Many public bus. just know e arrive timing.

The hotel was difficult to find, we realize that cab drivers in Korea have no clue in reading addresses but luckily the address can be found on the GPS (yes, we did encounter situations where addresses can't even be found on the GPS) and therefore we were able to reach the hotel without much troubles. The hotel was not located near any bus stops but the owner was kind enough to drop us to the bus stop and drove us to the sunrise peak early in the morning (5am). I seriously think she is the friendliest, most helpful and kindest host whom I have ever had the honour to meet. And nobody seem to recognize the hotel by the name, so please don't be so naive to think that you could just tell the taxi driver the name of the hotel and you would arrive at your destination (we did and ended up at nowhere! The location of the was overall good, near to Seongsan Ilchulbong Sunrise Peak, Seopjikoji, not too far away from Manjanggul Cave and very close to the harbour where you can take a short ferry to the Udo island.

We arrived late at night due to flight delay, yet there's still a staff that waiting for us. Even though he cannot speak English well, he specially prepared notes written in English and Bahasa to greet and inform us about the room upgrade. And the room is really big for three people, with two double bed, huge LCD TV, computer, kitchen utensils, and also a bathtub! In the morning, when we opened the curtain, the beautiful view of Seongsan Ilchubong Peak greet us! We're really touched by the old couple staff that tried hard to explain to us where we can see a canola flower in Jeju. With body gesture, they told us that the flower not blooming in Seopjikoji anymore and gave us the location where the flower still bloom. If you planning to go to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, Udo Island, or any tourist attractions in the west part of Jeju, i really recomend this hotel because the bus stop is only a minute walk from the hotel!

I have booked Hotel Mare but some miscommunication within the hotel management. Thus my reservation was not made. Only issue is the musty sewage smell emitting from the bathroom which seem to be prominient in all the Korea apartment or hotel I went to. The hotel is just walking distance of about 5 minutes from the Haenyeong Women Diver Museum too. I will definitely choose to go back to this Hotel again!
