"The service was quick, warm, and professional. The room and entire hotel is very clean and well lighted. I love how the room has a huge window, although the room itself is quite small. Location is the best! Very close to offices, restaurants, convenience stores, etc. Only negative thing I can say is the walls are TOO THIN. Heard EVERYTHING the people next door were talking about and doing which made quite an uncomfortable stay. I would still book again because the location is the best for work considering the good price, but if I had another choice with better privacy and around the same price range, I think I’d rather book another hotel. "I stayed a week a the St. Giles and, found it to be a nice hotel for the money, but not a 4 star hotel as some sites have rated it. The PROS of the hotel are that it is a new, clean hotel, with a great staff and a good location. It is easy to get a taxi, a variety of entertainment (not just the go-go bars, actually a couple of Manila's top nightclubs are footsteps away), a wide selection of restaurants are all minutes away by walking. The view from the hotel has to be the best in Makati (at least for now. They are building next to it). The CONS are that their superior rooms are incredibly small (20 sqm). They are not suitable for a couple. The bathrooms, as well are uncomfortably tiny. The room was very bland and basic, no decorations, not even a clock. Internet is also not free. It costs 300 pesos a day. Having to pay for internet when many hotels offer it for free is a deal breaker. It also lacks the subtle touches of a 4 star hotel, such as robes and slippers, 4 pillows on the bed, and a refrigerator that is stocked, not empty. Even the lobby, especially when full, was very cramped for space. I would highly recommend this hotel for a traveler who does not need a lot of space, or thrills. I feel it is more a hotel for someone in town for a couple of days and will not be in their room much. The Deluxe rooms are around 27 sqm, so if you need more space, upgrade. The 4 star rating sets the bar a little too high for what this hotel actually is, a very good economy hotel at a great location. There is nothing wrong with that and if a traveler checks in with that in mind, they will not be disappointed, but if you are expecting a 4 star hotel, like the Marriott, then you will leave feeling something was lacking. Still, I was satisfied with my stay overall."

"->Budget wise this hotel is cheaper than most of five star hotels in Makati and provide a better amenities and services -> the location is perfectly accessible to all important establishment such as embassy, malls, different variety of restaurants and also its not hard to find a money-changer which is the most important for a tourist visitor. -> cleanliness is not a problem they always clean the room and refill the consumable items in our room. For most hotel they only give 2 bottled water but I'am hotel always add 4 bottles a day and replace the towels and bathrobes -> the staffs will always smile and great to their guest and do the extra mile for their effort specially the guy who lend me a lighter when I need it badly to smoke. Since my lighter got confiscated at the airport. So its a big thumbs up for the staffs All and all I will highly recommend I'm hotel for their excellent customer service. I wish all hotels are same standard as this hotel."

"i must say i didn't expect much from the place considering i just paid $50/night thru agoda.com. i stayed for 5 nights. hotel was just behind ayala museum & is quite easy to find. i paid p205 for the metered airport taxi to reach here. receptionists were very pleasant. the room i got was at the 16th floor (corridors were not air-conditioned) and had great views of the ayala side. i found my standard room quite good & spacious; furnitures were a bit outdated but were functional. i especially like that there are cooking/kitchen facilities (microwave, small cooker, some pans, toaster, big fridge & plates/cutlery). there was no hair dryer in my room though. basically my room was a studio type condo unit.  i didn't have problems with the hot water in the shower like the others, bathroom is a bit outdated but clean nevertheless. there is no free wifi but reception sells internet cards for p100 for 1hr & for 5 hours. i bought the p100 to try out speed & use on my mac but i couldnt get it to work & the it guy i asked for doesn't seem to know how to configure it. so i finally asked my parents to bring their globe tattoo so i can use my laptop. few days later, i found out that the card works on my iphone so i just used up the credits there. complimentary breakfast was also ok with a lot of options (there's like 12 sets to choose from). we (my parents later joined me) found the room service food quite good also and very cheap! (costs around a meal with side dish & drinks & portions were sufficient also; we often had leftovers even) it suited our filipino taste as most of dishes were filipino dishes. with what we ordered daily, we were not disappointed. room was made up every morning & towels were changed daily. sorry for the lengthy review, but i always find detailed reviews helpful when im checking out places to book :) to summarize, it has been a very pleasant stay and will definitely book this hotel again "

"My first time in Philippines and i was so glad i choose this hotel. Because it is new, the cleanliness was the best, the hotel was located in just the best spot of the entire street, the room layout was fantastic, toilet was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The front office staff, bell boys were extremely professional and friendly. Everything was perfect..... until.....you start going to the restaurant or cafe on the 31st and 32nd floor. Although the greetings and friendliness was all so perfect, but the speed of the service was APPALLING! On one of the days, i had to wait 35 mins!!( yes 35 minutes!) for my breakfast to be served to me, and in that 35 mins, they took 20 mins to serve me a cup of tea. Truly disappointed with this as they are all so perfect in greeting and being friendly and professional but when it comes to the actual service, they are way way behind in standard. Be prepared to wait for at least 10 mins for everything and anything you request for. I would definitely choose to stay in this hotel again in a heartbeat but the only thing that would make reconsider is their service."

"Impeccable service, wonderful facilities, best location in Manila as it's a 5 minute walk to Makati City's Greenbelt mall and peripheral malls. Short distance to great restaurants. Drivers on demand. An absolute 5-star urban hotel. I stay there oftener business, and I now bring my finance' on most trips. in terms of convenience, size, and location - it could be the nicest hotel in Makati. Hotels like Shangri La, Peninsula, Raffles and others have gotten so crowded that you simply cannot comfortably enjoy the amenities or restaurant options. Diamond Residences has terrific restaurant and in-room dining, and the VIP amenities are outstanding: Executive Lounge is great for entertaining or winding down, The Whisky Bar is private and well appointed, the spa service is excellent. I recommend Diamond Residences to any traveler who wants a 5-star, safe, elegant experience - without hesitation!"

"Cons: it was New Year's Eve and the hotel was booked solid. At least one or maybe two elevators were not working, there was a long queue to go up and down. The elevator even skipped our floor on the way down and the stairwell was not available for guest use that day. Pros: We booked last minute but front desk was able to quickly check us in and find us a nice room on upper floor. We needed to find dinner as most placed were closed or closing for NYE. Reception staff found us a nice sushi place very nearby and called ahead to let them.know we were on our way. Hotel is very close to shopping centers and walking to many restaurants, minimart and 7/11. Directly across the street is Songkran Thai restaurant. The room was much more than we expected. Very clean with fridge, stove top, table and chairs and bug TV. Bathroom had shower and bathtub. Upon check out, the front desk found us a taxi right away. If the elevators were working that night, definitely would be all 5 stars!!"

"Best value for money hotel in Makati. all staff from doorman to room maids were simply awesome, nothing was a problem to them, the front desk performed flawlessly. the roof top pool and rooftop restaurant were aligned with the big hotels claiming 5 stars. would not hesitate to stay here again, centrally located, bars and food venues on your doorstep. The rooms, whilst a wee bit on the small size, was jam packed with extras, and as clean as a whistle."

"Much like a 5 star hotel. The size of the room was more than adequate. The pillows and mattress were top notch. The room was immaculately clean. The television was a smart TV so we were able to watch a movie by connecting our phone. There was even a jbl speaker! The staff were amazing too. Check in and check out were hassle free . Buffet breakfast was not yet available when we visited. Nevertheless, there were several restaurants at a walking distance. For the price point, it was definitely worth it The only downside was the traffic going there since it's located at Kalayaan avenue. Otherwise, it was perfect. "

"I highly recommend this hotel, as a hotel and restaurant managemnt graduate i had high expectations in regards to service, facility and comfort of the hotel. I booked my accomodation in new world hotel makati for 5 days hoping that i could do everything i need to do in my short stay in Philippines, still booked it coz i excpect that i could spoiled my self with extra care service, luxury facility and conviniece in location. They dont just give me what i want they actually exceed my expectaions of a good 5 star hotel. I enjoy the friendly, helpful and attentive staff of the hotel special mention to juaquin that help me with all my inquiry about my booking. People are very professional yet very approachable they alway greet you with smile. Breakfast at m2m cafe was fantastic. As a balikbayan i very much enjoy the food coz they have wide variety of filipino dishes that i cant get here in australia. Location wise i definitly love it. The hotel is just 5 mins walk to greenbelt where all the shopping malls, great restaurant and a bar for All party goers. rooms are excellent too. The only thing that i didnt enjoy was, when the time that im there they are renovating the holel, construction is everywhere and no free wi fi for non excecutive floors. Other than that my stay in this lovely hotel is very most pleasurable."
