More plug sockets than I've ever seen in a hotel room before - the whole family could charge phones, tablets, computers and cameras and still have a socket to use the tea and coffee making facilities! Recently stayed at the Doubletree at Newcastle Airport, found it to be an excellent hotel, and very reasonably priced. Reception staff were very pleasant, and plenty of parking available on site. I liked this hotel because it was best place for us to stay, not far from the centre of Newcastle and not too far from the Metro Centre,

This is our second visit to the hotel this year. We usually stay in Newcastle but found parking easy and free at this hotel and a bus stop outside for easy access into the city. The room was clean and had good facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Gloria SW France
