We just stayed at this location for the past 5 days. The rooms are very clean and well appointed, a bit small maybe but manageable. We had a room on the 15th floor facing the Tokyo tower, the view was fantastic. The staff are very polite and went out of the way to respond to requests and do their best to handle the language issue. The Breakfast Buffet was really good, could use a little change up maybe from day to day, noticed they did change a few things on our final morning. The staff at the buffet were excellent, very courteous and welcoming and very efficient at keeping the tables cleared and the food refilled. They have a shuttle which runs a few times a day to the subway station down the road, not far easily short walk but if it's raining, use the shuttle. Few restaurants around the building and outside as well as a good grocery store with good prices. We highly recommend this hotel and will probably book there when and if we return to Tokyo. Rooms are modern and clean and ours had a little balcony (no furniture on the balcony). The Hotel has a kitchen/lounge area where you can cook your own food or play games and try some origami. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We had a late flight and they kindly stored our luggage and let us use the kitchen/lounge area until we were ready to depart. The hotel also had a laundromat and there is a great view of the tower at night from the 10th floor outdoor stairwell. The hotel is right next to a subway station and it was pretty easy to get everywhere we needed to go. The reception is open from 6am to 1pm and the front door is locked at 1am, however you can still get in with your key should you stay out late. The only criticism is the room and bathroom were small and there was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. We would stay here again.

I stayed at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo-Toyocho with my 7 year old son from March 25-29, 2017. As a woman traveling without my husband, I wanted a hotel where I felt safe and comfortable, and without costing a fortune. This hotel was all that, and more!!! We arrived about 6 hours before check in. Not a problem for the front desk, they held our suitcases and gave us subway directions for our first day of sightseeing. We returned about 7 hours later to discover our bags were already waiting for us in our room!! Along with new slippers and soft pajamas every day. My son and I would start our day by asking directions to anywhere we wanted to go. Be it the Godzilla Hotel, or Waving Cat Shrine or the best place for local sushi. Without fail, the front desk would give us the easiest to follow directions, including how long it would take to get to our destination. They always had English subway maps or would print out the directions for us. Furthermore, they always had a huge smile on their faces when we would return home from our adventures. Someone would always ask my son how the day went and as a mom, I really appreciated that little comforting touch. There are three entrances to the subway within a minute walk from the hotel. I think 1 1/2 hours was the longest it took to get anywhere. And that was for our return trip to the Narita Airport. Other then that, it took less then one hour to travel by subway to the locations we wanted to visit. Places like Tokyo Skytree Tower, Hotel Gracery (aka Godzilla Hotel), Ueno Park or the Waving Cat Shrine near Yoyogi Park. I want to stress one aspect of subway travel - we called it Train Sardines! Literally, the Toyocho station cars were PACKED during morning rush hour!! We experienced it a little bit one morning, but after waiting until 8:40 or so the cars were crowded, but not like sardines. :) All in all, we LOVED this hotel!! I would highly recommend it. The hotel is VERY spacious compared to all the other hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan. It is also conveniently situated close to a subway station and the entire staff were very nice and accommodating. The only con, for us at least, was that unfortunately the guests beside our room were VERY loud and noisy. Im rarely bothered by such things but this one was a little uncomfortable cause of all the banging, running, screaming, crying that was going on from before we left the hotel until we came back from exploring. It was a little sad but definitely not the hotel’s fault. Still, I’d stay there for sure. I recommend it esp if you know you’ll have a lot of luggage. ^^

brilliant place to stay, hotel is quality. the room is spacious even for a single, and the table with table lamp ample to type on...the seating quality is poor though...the fridge fantastic, apa really have a good service going, and the daily yukata and amenities is great, the only con is the bed alarm is spoilt (the radio was great), and so there is literally an old school alarm clock there. the rest of the room is great for a business traveller just in for a seminar/deal, and you can hang all your suits, etc, and the internet cat5e cable is good enough. no bbc or cnn or cnbc,you have to pay for cable but that tends to be done by only the japanese locals or the losers who want to watch the adult channel and pay (by note or cash i believe) into some white box on each floor. that said, the hotel is a short walk from nishi ojima and sumiyoshi, and the streets have some decent food, so if you like me come back from work in otemachi/marunouchi, it is not too bad or far away, though i must say, east tokyo is the most deserted of all the places i've stayed in tokyo...great for people big on somehting quieter...feels like a more residential homely area of tokyo for sure...lots of poor old people (ageing population) around to be kind to i guess if you're into kindness...

we had a good stay in this hotel, we were there for 7 days,its not luxourious but honestly it is perfect if you are going sightseeing everyday, we also stayed in a hotel in nishi oi ( chisun hotel shinagawa) which was nicer but situated far from the jr station, where as the weekly kameido was 5 mins walk from the station and just beside a "tesco"! the prices are not the same as tesco in ireland that i assure you but its so handy to be able to find food that you recognise. we are in tokyo 3 weeks and if you are going to buy rice theirs was the cheapest at 660yen for 2kg when all the other places we have been are 600 for 1kg. we moved around tokyo, we took 3 hotels in 3 weeks (kameido,shinagawa and shinjuku ) and kameido was situated in the best place and by far the cheapest.

I've stayed here three or four times now. The location is excellent, many of the main areas of Toyko are 15-30 minutes away. It's a one minute walk from Kiba subway station. The neighborhood itself is quiet but there are a lot of nice little restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is cozy enough, the capsules are comfortable, the bathroom facilities are pretty nice, etc. The lounge has free wifi, but none in the capsule floors. About the only negative is that they close the showers at 10am, and the lounge at 10:30am, and re-open both of them around 3pm, so it's not a hotel for lounging around in. Plus, the storage lockers are quite small, about enough for a carry-on sized bag or two. For the price and convenience it's really hard to beat.

We could not take another night in the capsule hotel (USD45) so at USD54 on Agoda the upgrade was a steal. The APA Hotel Tokyo-Kiba was a 6 minutes walk from the Tokyo Kiba Hotel (capsules) at the other end of the Kiba Station. Our space went from 2 m2 to 11 m2 with our own ensuite toilet, big screen tv, fridge, desk, and comfy bed. The receptionist at the service counter was exceptional. We got room 623 which had no window but it felt 100 times better than a capsule at only USD10 more. (We later found out the normal rate was twice what we paid for and was available one night only). There was a convenience store right across the street from the hotel where we bought some groceries. I will definitely come here again.

Spent 2 nights in Tokyo Day nice hotel for business trip. The location is good for me. Not in the crowded central area but convenient to everywhere. 3mins walk to the nearest JR station Kiba. The hotel provides meals in a friendly price. Also the price of rooms also suitable. But it’s a normal phenomenon in Japan that is the small space in room. For 1 person is okay. The hotel have English & chinese speaking staffs. There was a problem of sound isolation. One day it was little bit noisy in the morning cause someone was speak loudly at the corridor. Above all, it’s a not bad place for travelers and business men.

When a hotel in Japan includes a free breakfast you usually expect some hard boiled eggs, a few pieces of bread with a toaster oven and unlimited coffee. This hotel's breakfast really blew me away! They offer from 7-9 am a buffet with orange juice, coffee, tea and the usual bread to warm in a mini oven but the buffet also includes japanese items such as rice omelettes, fish, meatballs, steamed vegetables, pickled plums and lots of boiled bacon. The rice was too sticky and mushy but the rest of the food was quite good. Location is just a block away from the Toyocho subway station, about 30 minutes from Tsukiji market if you wish to head there by 5:30 am and also close to Tokyo station. Rather cheap for the location but the room was very hot even with the strange AC fan turned max. I can't imagine how hot it gets in the summer. Bathroom is uber cramped I opted against using the tiny tub. If it's a place to crash and some free grub the hotel is still a good deal.

Spent 4 nights here while visiting Tokyo. Close to a subway station so you can get to anywhere you need fairly easily. There is a supermarket nearby and a fridge and small kitchen in the room which was great for us as we are travelling on a budget. Staff very efficient, as always in Japan. Free umbrellas when it rains and cheap laundry, machines are free to use if you have your own powder, 50 Yen for powder from reception. Free fast wifi only in lobby.
