I was going with my husband on a special trip. We come from far so we know it had to be a good place. I loved the view and the pictures from the hotel especially the pool. I packed so many swimming outfits to find out the pool was closed. It was so hot outside for the pool to be closed. I didn't even receave a warning about the pool situation. My husband was really disappointed. Also, the hotel looked really lonely, like no one was there. It was quiet and clean but the staff were not welcoming at all. Very disappointed about this place. Requested a refund to book another hotel.

The Island Blue is a wonderful place to stay in Seogwipo. The room was large, clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. We stayed in the off season, so the island was fairly quiet. Even though there is a busy street next to the hotel, it was still very quiet. Great towels, comfortable bed, large TV, free wifi, and a kitchen with a full refrigerator. We received free breakfast coupons for our entire stay even though it wasn't mentioned in the description. Breakfast buffet was large with a mix of western and Korean foods, all very good. Some staff spoke more English than others, but we had no issues getting what we needed. It was nice to have a convenience store on site on the first floor so we could buy food and drinks. Very close to the best restaurants in the city.

Pros are really every facility a traveller needs are provided, the hotel isnt shabby for a 3 star, clean, extravagant and simple for a 3 star. The staff are responsive and fine. Love the rooms and lobby , of quality and fine looking, satisfied overall and met my expectations. Cons - only 1 con i would say, though its near the bus terminal but have to go through hill and hills up the slope with our luggages when taking buses. Oh and 1 more , though it showed sea & mountain views on the web but there were none and overated on web for its pic.

There are convience stores in the Ramada West just across the street from Ramada East, and a delightful bakery ( Take Urban Jeju Terrace ) in the Ramada Encore East. Our bed was hard coming from a Western bed that is what we would call incredibly hard, but no where near as plank-like as most Korean beds are. Housekeeping came every day to give us water and change out our waste bins, and give us fresh towels. We requested to not have our bedlinens or anything else done. The room was very clean when we came in, no lingering smells of past travelers could be detected. The water pressure is great, the hot water more than warm enough. The gym is small, but the washers and dryers are large and only 3,000W per load which is quite cheap. There is a park and a group of restaurants directly outside and to the right of the hotel across the street. Very good choice of foods though most do not open for dinner until 6pm.

only 5 mins away from Olle market. Excellent restaurants in the vicinity. I really enjoyed the bakery in the lobby. Best cheese brioche that I ever had! The only complaint that I have is, although I booked a non-smoking room, it still reeked cigarette. Combined with the typical humidity of Jeju Island, it was quite uncomfortable. Other than that, the hotel itself was excellent and I would strongly recommend to everyone!

The room is very spacious with central panel to control the lighting, aircon, etc. Bed is super clean and comfortable. This 4 star hotel is actually much nicer than a number of so-called 5 star hotels round the world. We travel a lot and we were deeply impressed with the luxurious feel inside the room of this 4 star hotel. The only problem is the staff. They don't speak much English and a male staff wrongly told us that we did not need a password to use wifi in our room. After failing to login, we returned to the front desk and were told by a female staff who speaks a bit better English that the wifi password is hidden behind the TV. We returned to the room and finally managed to find a password behind the TV. Really don't understand why the hotel would not simply place a card with wifi password on the bedside table to make life easier for all guests. Other than the staff, the hotel room itself is excellent.

We got a free upgrade to Junior Suite during our stay. I believe this is due to the room that we initially booked (Europe Double) are under renovation. We were initially happy but when we realized our room comes with 1 Double Bed + 1 Single Bed, we requested for a change but got rejected. The Junior Suite is very big. It has a kitchen, dining area, washing machine, and a big bathroom. The entire room is white in colour. The room is facing the sea which you can enjoy a very beautiful scenery in the morning. Our bathroom and toilet (separated) are clean but the toilet have a very strong cigarette smell. The air circulation is not very good in the bathroom area.The toilet is equipped with an advanced electronic toilet seat. The amenities/facilities provided in the room can be improved. It includes Shampoo and shower gel, hair dryer, towels, and two bottles of mineral water. It will be better if they can provide bath robe too. Outside of the room, in the common area is very quiet at night although the occupancy is very high the day I stayed in. This is due to the very well done sound isolation. You can hardly hear people talking even you are standing outside of an occupied room. The choice of the breakfast spread is very limited for a 5 star hotel. The taste is acceptable, nothing to shout about. Overall the hotel was ok, just think it should be rated just 4 star instead of 5. I would recommend this hotel if your budget is limited.

Group travel, and we had different experience with different room. The mountain view and ocean view family room are wonderful! feel like five star hotel with wonderful view. while a 2-ppl room has no view at all, a blue building is just 1m in front of the window.......and thus the room has no sunlight all the time..... but the hotel facilities is great, there's a small spa room with every basic things you need ( hot and cold tub and sauna! ) which is not easily found here with such a budget price. Location is great also, just 5 mins away from the world cup stadium, cafe, restaurants were nearby and the public spa and e-mart is just 15mins walking away from the hotel. 15mins bus take to the Seogwipo city center.

The hotel located in a quiet area but not far from town. It's clean, modern design and room facilities provide all needed (heater, air conditioner, refrigerator, cup and electronic kettle, bath set, hair dryer and TV). Although the restaurant area doesn't open yet and there is no nearby convenient store, its location is easy to reach supermarket and downtown. Hotel's staff understand English quite well and able to give a good advises for most of my questions. This is surprised me because when I booked this hotel, Agoda website told me that hotel's staffs can not communicate in English!

The hotel is generally clean and comfortable. I would say it's more like a typical 4 star hotel than 5 star as what it was rated. Last stop of airport bus. Took around 1 hr 45mins to get there. If you are willing to spend more, it's advisable to take cab/taxi from the airport. During your stay you may take airport bus to some of the main attractions OR take cab/taxi from those stations to other attractions which is not within the reach of airport bus. Be reminded to prepare some snacks and drinks before heading to the hotel as there are no convenience stalls nearby. Have to take a cab/taxi to the city area (not too far). Great if you're looking for a "resort feel holiday". There are many attractions (nature & museums) in Jeju so prepare to spend a few days there.

All of the staffs here were very very helpful. They can speak English and Chinese very well. The hotel is very new, well-equipped. The floor-heating system was so good. And the best is the ocean view from the room. I enjoyed my stay very much here. Wide room, spacious bathroom, clean and a speaker for a music lover. The breakfast in the morning, you can choose between Korean or Western style. I chose Korean set of spicy beef porridge. LOVE LOVE LOVE here so much. The only weak point here is that it is too new that I smelt the paint of the room all night, and this is not so unpleasant. The hotel should open the window to ventilate and remove this smell as soon as possible.

This is the best Hotel i ever booked from Agoda, i cant think of any complain for the duration i stayed. i would like to express my highest gratitude to the staff especially Mr Nam for the welcoming and friendly reception during my stay. Mr Nam speak good english and mandarin and he gave us alot of good advice. our room got upgraded and the view from our room is very nice. breakfast is normal but no complain. the room we stayed has heater on its floor and toilet seat. i would recommend to my friend and we will definitely stay in this hotel again in our next visit.

This was one of the best places we've ever stayed! Room: OH WOW!!! The view was magnificent and totally relaxing! Gorgeous can't even describe it. It was extremely spacious, clean and welcoming. They even have a small walk-in closet in our room. The toiletries were great! Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, sufficient bath towels, bottled water, hairdryer, kettle, coffee/tea sets were provided. Breakfast was just DELICIOUS! Location: It's like a 5 minutes drive to Jeongbang Falls. It is on top of a hill and surrounded by citrus farms. If you're walking with luggage, I wouldn't recommend doing that. But if you're driving, it's really convenient yet gives you a secluded, peaceful retreat vibe. Service: We felt welcome and cared for. Even though their English was limited, they were always VERY helpful and even went out of the way to cook something light for my husband for his breakfast when they heard he was sick. We will definitely return and stay here again!

The room is spacious. With a large glass window, you are able to enjoy the view around the hotel. My room is facing the Saeyeon bridge, the night view is amazing when the Saeyeon bridge light on! Though it was only a single bed and a double bed, but it is large enough to fit 4 of us. Bed is comfy, washroom is spacious too. Oh, and a definitely plus plus point, opt the breakfast! Not much varieties and it's just simply nice!

Limousine Bus no. 800 from jeju airport is the fastest transpo, drops directly to the bus stop next to the hotel (----Tax Institute ------- something station, i forgot.) The rooms are very clean and my husband really loved the bathroom with the cool toilette bowl! :D The staffs at the reception are very nice and helpful, rooms have nice window views, they provide nice green tea scent toiletries, coffee/tea amenity, they change towels and clean the room daily. There are English movies in the TV! so we watched Hollywood films in the evening. Such a cozy, clean and comfy place to stay! There are lots of cherry blossoms and camellia flowers few blocks within the area.

This hotel located near to the beach, convenience store and easy access to a few main attraction around Seogwipo. It takes 1 1/2 hour to reach by bus from Jeju airport. The hotel room is clean and I so lucky to get a window room facing nearby island. In the room, they provide tv with 200+ channel, heater & aircond, hot & normal water, smart toilet, drinking water, small towel, and toilet amenities. Hotel is next to G25 shop and another hotel and you can just walk for 3 minutes to get reach the nearby beach park. If you choose to get out from jeju city and find a peaceful area here the right place.

If you are looking for a budget hotel, this is a fine choice. Although there were only 6-7 parking lot, but we didn't have any issue with the parking space even when we came back late at night. Room was pretty small, but there were enough space to open up two 22'' luggages. Our bedsheets was quite dirty with many hair strands when we checked in. Told the receptionist about it they had the cleaner to change it immediately. Room condition may not be the best but necessary facilities were there. The hotel is actually located near to the food street, but most restaurants close quite early. There was a really nice fried chicken shop that opens till late night though, we had that for dinner/supper for a couple of nights. There is also a supermarket near the hotel. But if you are really left with no choice for food, there is a CU mart near the hotel as well and it is opened 24hr.

The staff was polite and checkin was fast and smooth. The room is clean and well equipped, however, they just provide 4 hangers for our group of 4 pax. Indoor Parking is provided FOC which is a plus for us. There is an attached restaurant though we did not try the food there as there are many restaurants just outside the hotel. The market selling street food is also within walking distance. We tried the Beef Korean BBQ restaurant outside the hotel, the quality is good, with fresh perilla leaf and lettuce. The reception staff though polite are unable to converse much in English. When we ask them to help us to book the submarine tour, they help to call then told us that it is fully book that day, they gave us the number and told us to call the next day. When we ask if we can make a booking for the next day, they don't seem to understand and just ask us to call the next day. In the end, we drive to the nearby tourist info at the cheonjiyeon fall to make our booking reservation. Overall, this hotel is still a good place to stay.

The rooms are a good big size with plenty of space to unpack. Clean, comfortable and a great view of Hallasan from the window (on good weather days). Location is good if you want to be close to things in Seogwipo city, easy walk to food street, market and Lee Jung-seop house and bus stops that take you everywhere. Also, it's opposite the end of Olle trail number 6. Staff were very friendly and helpful and some did speak English. The only problem we had was that the wifi wasn't that good and was quite slow and sometimes disconnected. Other than that, highly recommend and would stay again!

The hotel is excellent to stay, new, very clean, hight tech, although unfortunately located in a very quite residential area, without bars or restaurants, far away from everything. However, next to the hotel is a good bakery with perfect baguette bread. A little further is also an E-Mart with a small food court. The only bad thing are the damn slamming doors of each room, which can keep you awake for a while or wake you up earlier. The hotel also doesn't provide airport pick-up (1 hour plus travel!), so you're a bit on your own. Although the Airport Limousine service is a frequent and very cheap service, but you need to walk 15 min. with your luggage from bus drop-off to the hotel. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant with a quite good breakfast, but dinner "a la carte" is very much limited (3 items only). To participate in organized bus tours, the hotel is also not part of the pick-up points even though mentioned on the folders(you need to do a 15 min taxi drive first).
