Find hotels in Olympia Theater

Thanks to Agoda.com’s point system, I’ve saved on this room and that’s not even to mention the best among other sites price to begin with. I needed this hotel to stay overnight before my cruise, so this location is very good for cruisers. I actually walked across the long bridge (didn’t have much luggage) to the port and enjoyed the spectacular view. (takes about 30-40 mins, depending on how many pics you take on the way). The parking wasn’t free so I used the public parking on the north-east side from the hotel ($10 a day). The check-in was amazing fast. While others were staying in line to do it the orthodox way by talking to an actual person and everything, I simply slid the card I used to pay for the room on the agoda.com and it immediately found my name, asked for smoking/non-smoking, 2 queen/1 king bed and spit 2 key cards. 15 seconds check-in. 5 of them took me to understand that it’s for real that easy and efficient. Check out is same way. Bed is nice, flat-screen TV is tight, and all other amenities are basic, functional and just OK. I didn’t manage to open my balcony door though. I assume they locked them to prevent drunk people from falling after partying at South Beach.

We had a really good stay. Very comfortable beds and it was wonderful to find a room that accommodated two single travellers without forcing us into twin-size beds! (We are adult sisters travelling together). The gym had a lot of good equipment. The location was great for access to the American Airlines Arena, where we attended a concert. It isn't great if you're planning to spend time in Miami/South Beach. We stayed here for a couple of nights for our concert and then moved hotels to the beach (this was pre-planned; we didn't cut our Hilton visit short), and I would suggest that this is the best way to see the best of Miami, especially if you don't have a car. Downtown Miami isn't terribly interesting; the beach is where it's happening. Only downside: the concierge wasn't as helpful as he could have been. We got the strong impression that he had ideas about what was and wasn't a good idea for our plans, rather than listening to us and trying to give us the best advice based on our actual goals. We didn't have a car, but all his advice was based around the idea that we should have one (rather than dealing with our actual situation). An example: we were told there was no ability to visit Kennedy Space Center - that it was too far - but we managed to book a bus tour for this so this information wasn't correct.

This is a great, neat and tidy spot to stay. We only stayed one night after a cruise, nice large bed, decent bathroom and great connection to the train to the airport. Seemed like a safe area in the time we were there, close to a nice open air shopping centre. Staff were all really polite and gave us some great tips on where to shop/eat close by. Not much personality but clean, affordable and easy!

Pros: everything is new Friendly staff Fitness and laundry Pool is great Cons: Breakfast could vary more Parking space is too expensive. We already pay more than the avarage for a night, to add +28$ a night is parking space is a bit too much. There is a public prking spot literally in front of the hotel for 10$ a night. from 3 elevators they let only 2 working which was not enough on the weekend since the hotel was booked out. I had to wait for 2 elevators to finally get in one

I really like this hotel. Checkin in & out was quick & easy. There's a nice standard pool in the back and a small gym. The decor in the lobby was fresh and colorful with an amazing bubble art piece. There is a bar and restaurant in the lobby. My room was HUGE and really comfortable. Two double beds and a large living area with couch, coffee table and chairs. There was also a desk to work at. My room had a great view of the park and cruise port. It also had a small microwave and mini fridge. There is just a tiny amount of counter space in the bathroom- not a big deal but just odd. WIFI was iffy- perhaps ok for Facebook? But not adequate to get any work done. I had to switch to my cell carrier to get anything completed. The best part through was the location. There's a McDonalds behind the hotel. A CVS drug store about a block away and a 7-11 2 blocks away. The Bayside Market place (an open air but covered mall) is right across the street with loads of shops and restaurants. It's open late every day with bands and all kinds of excitement. There's also a huge Ross in an odd little shopping area about 3 blocks away. Be warned there are lots of beggars on the streets- during the day/early evening there are also loads of tourists milling around so it's not too creepy. But after about 10pm it's just you and them (for the most part) and as a female traveling alone it's just uncomfortable to constantly be asked for $$.

originally we thought we booked a 2-room room for 4 people (all adults), however it turned out to be a 2-bed room and the room was really too small for 4 people to stay (ideally the room can accommodate 4 people). other than this i think this hotel is nice and comfort. they also provide coffee and tea as well as fruit (free) in the morning in lobby. the free metro is just opposite to the hotel, so good for tourists.

At the frontdesk they told me My room Was a small one without breakfast. I showed them My voucher (agoda's) That showed That i had a 50 mts room with breakfast. They told me that they received the reservation from booking.com (and then i know that you, from agoda, make the reservations through booking.com). And they said that What they Had from booking.com Was reservation for the small room with no breakfast. I'm extremely disapointed with agoda for This.

We stayed at the InterContinental for 4 nights with our two kids, 6 and 1 year old. Usual check in time is after 3pm but if you arrive earlier, you will be served at a first come - first in basis at no extra cost. When you check in at the hotel, you will find out that you have to pay USD 15 for internet, etc + USD 39 for parking per day which adds quite an amount to the bill already not cheap. The check-in was fast and easy. We had booked a 2 kingsize bedroom with city view and landed on the 25th floor with a nice view. The last night we moved to bayview on the 6th floor due to noisy neighbours (after calling the security, they were quiet). The rooms are just big enough for a family of 4, nothing really fancy and I think I expected more for the price. The bathrooms are quite spacious and nice, specially the one on the 25th floor. There is a small Starbucks in the mall of the hotel where we took our breakfasts. The hotel has also 2 restaurants which are quite expensive. The location of the hotel is great, you can walk directly to Bayside where you will find a lot of shops and restaurants which is convenient when you travel with young kids, specially in the evening. There is also a playground close to the hotel. After an 8 min drive you are at the kids museum which is amazing and a good time for the smaller ones after visiting the city. Miami Beach & the Art Deco District are only 15 min by car. When you come back to the hotel, a valet will take care of your car, the staff is very nice. The pool is outside on the 5th floor, it was very windy during our stay and we spent only a few hours but you have a great view. The gym center is also convenient, with machines for cardio and weight lifting. The check-out is also convenient and fast, check for Irina at the receptionist desk, she is really helpful. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the InterConti but would have expected a bit more for the price.

Unfortunately we found a hair in the bath that we asked them to clean and they said they would but then didn't. Checked in quite late and the check in person was really nice but quite slow and was doing other things. It's a small thing but when you have someone checking in so late they just want to do it and be done with it. They also charge $10 per package to accept it which other hotels do for free so seems a bit cheeky for them to do that. Pool was great, restaurant delicious, room views very cool, bed very comfortable.

Metromover station aside, easy access from road, Riverwalk in the back and a good price. Location is one of the best. Saw other hotels in Downtown with same price but I liked the view of this one. Cons: just looks old and tired. Some investment there and could compete with the best. That's management problem. Come on, don't be so maceta. The bad reviews: the owner deserve it, not the employees.

I no longer feel that a room is just a room. The service and the hotel were amazing! I pretty much lived in the pool. I want to fly back to Miami just to stay at that hotel!!!!! Most of the staff were wonderful too. There was a time where I wanted to charge my bill to the room, and the staff kept coming out and acting weird about it. That was a bit strange, and I am still confused about that. I guess they wanted to be sure they got their tip. I went ahead and paid them the full amount right then and tipped 50 percent because they got me ice for my champagne and all kinds of stuff. I also paid then because they kept questioning what room I was in and acted hesitant to charge it to my room. Still, the other experience was so amazing I had to give it 5 stars! The hammocks in the pool are so amazing!

Hi we stayed for 2 nights first week of July .the staff at the reception were not so good, The bell boy was a bit weird too But the cleaners were so helpful and friendly , also the restaurant staff were really good and helpful , we needed cutlery and plates as we checked in late evening and had food delivered at the hotel, the lady at the restaurant was so kind and friendly and within five minutes sent us plates and cutlery the rooms are good, bathrooms are so spacious and well equipped , location very nice
