Find hotels in Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan

After a full day at universal studios, trust me its easier to stay at a hotel nearby. Rather than brave the crowd to the station n travel to the city (namba, osaka-umeda). Universal city station is literally 1min away. Get on the JR loopline to get to otherparts of osaka. Since u r in d area, do take d ferry to cross over to tempoza to visit Kaiyukan or Aquarium. The hotel is comparatively new. All basic amenities are available. They even allow us early check in which we very appreciative of. Given that we had it hard travelling from Nagoya due to Kansai airport still closed from flooding. Check in n check out both a breeze.

We stayed in 4 beds room. The room is very nice, spacious, and clean. Amenities provided are very complete. Children and adult pajamas, toothbrushes, high quality soap and shampoo, even the automaticntoilet is perfect. Our kids love the room. The view of the harbor from the room is also amazing. There are 4 units of coin laundry machine along with dryers available in 2nd floor, making it easy to do laundry. The hotel also have ticket counters selling universal and kaiyukan aquarium tickets. It opens at 7am. It's just a short 5 minutes walk to universal studio with our young kids. Ferry to kaiyukan aquarium departed and arrived just at the back of the hotel. The only drawback is it takes a bit of time (30 mins) to get to middle of Osaka (namba, dotombori, etc), but we think the spacious and comfortable room is much more worth it than the smaller rooms we usually get in namba hotel at more expensive price. Will certainly come back again

This is the hotel that is across Universal City subway Station. Also very close to the Captain Line ferry to Tempozan Village (Marketplace + Ferris Wheel + Osaka Aquarium) There is Lawson convenience store at the 1F. Their lobby is at 2F. They have coin laundry machines as well and our floor has free ice cubes to offer. The staff are very helpful - they have a counter for luggage deliveries to other hotels and airport and we bought our ferry tickets from their reception as well. 100% recommended and will definitely book in our next stay in Osaka.

We enjoyed this hotel very much, the view from our room on th 41 floor was awesome and we had great access to universal studios as well as the Osaka aquarium. The hotel connects to the jr line which is perfect for getting around the city, and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the restaurant on the 20th floor, the staff were wonderful and helped us in any way we needed!

Pros: As my title says, location-wise it is very convenient. Located in front of JR Osaka Loop line Taisho station while the osaka subway (light green line, cant remember the name of the line coz its too long lol) is just a few steps away as well (exit 2 Taisho stn) -Since its a new hotel (operating since Oct 2016) the facilities are new and clean. I hope they’ll be able to maintain it. Good ambiance all in all. -Excellent wifi connection -They have public bath (onsen?) - Breakfast is good. I stayed for 3 nights and had 3 breakfasts and noticed that the menu for Day 1 and Day 3 are the same. Hope they have more variety :) - Love the free drinks and some snacks from 2pm to 12mn Cons: -Room is small, a double room can barely fit my medium luggage. -Small shower area. But I like that they separated the toilet from the shower area and sink - Walls are not soundproof. You can hear people talking/laughing in the hallway

Selected this hotel partly due to location and also the price compare to any other hotel that are very much nearer to USJ. It is about 10mins walk to USJ which is very reasonable for the price tag compare to other hotel nearer to USJ which is almost double the price. Very new and nice hotel and pretty clean and neat with all amenties. Only that it is a bit small. Stay just only a night cause fully enjoy the time in USJ till it closed and only need to walk to Hotel instead of other hotel in Osaka whereby still need to take the train. Overall a great stay for a night if one wants to enjoy full whole day at USJ and rest quickly in the hotel.

If your main purpose is convenience for your family to stay and visit Osaka Universal Studios, I highly recommend staying in this hotel. They have very reasonable rates for a hotel just a few steps to Universal Studios. Staff was very helpful with our stay particularly escorting us to the limousine bus when we check out for our flight in Kansai. A family of 4 can easily fit in rooms larger than those in Tokyo hotels. You will be spoiled for choices of food & souvenir items in Universal City. The Hotel also serves an excellent buffet breakfast. Tip: you can visit Osaka Kaiyukan Aquarium by taking a ferry direct. fee is only 750 yen for a 10 minute trip as apposed to close to an hour using subways.

If you are flying into Kansei Aiport you can take the JR Express Train directly from the airport to Bentencho Station and walk from the station across the street to Porta Inn. It's 20 minute walk to Osaka Dome and the big Aeon Mall, and it's directly located with a bunch of restaurants. The room itself is very well designed, with black out curtains and more space then some other Japanese hotels in this price range. Would definitely stay here again.

I was planning a holiday for my family in Tokyo and decided at the last minute that we would include a visit to Universal Studios in Osaka for our 4 year old daughter. So as not to deviate too much from our Tokyo itinerary, we decided to spend only one night in Osaka ie. take the early shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka to be in time for the park opening in the morning, spend the whole day at the park, and return to Tokyo the following day. It was therefore important to find accommodation that was close to the park so as not to waste valuable time commuting from the hotel to the park and back. We were therefore very pleasantly surprised to find that Hotel Kintetsu Universal City was literally a stone's throw from the park - it took just 1-2 minutes to take a pleasant walk from the hotel doorstep to the park entrance! That wasn't only the plus point - the room was also very spacious and came with free take home Universal Studios toiletries. I will most definitely stay at this hotel on my next visit to Universal Studios, hopefully sooner rather than later!

our stay at the hyatt regency osaka hotel was wonderful. the hotel is located in the bay area but we didn't mind being away from the busy crowded downtown areas. public transportation is very easily accessible. we stayed in a queen room on the regency club floor which was very spacious, had a great view of the bay/harbor, was spotlessly clean and comfortable. every staff member provided superior service. i was previously a manager in the front office of a leading 5 star hotel so i have high standards and first hand knowledge of what it takes to "win over" your guests. i highly recommend the hyatt regency osaka hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Cosmosquare Hotel and Congress offers standard Japanese room accommodation, clean and pleasant. Room rate is reasonable with excellent breakfast buffet service. Front-desk staff has good command of English which facilitate faster service and tour guiding. It is near Cosmosquare Station and thereby guests can travel with ease thru connecting railways. Taxi transport are available as well. Nearest park is the Osaka Kaiyukan Aquarium.
