I was surprised by the room (quadrupled) with four Super single beds and two wide windows side by side overlooking USJ. You can even watch the Hogwarts castle light show from the room. And very grateful for the hotel to reserve for us the room at the highest floor based on the price range. Furthermore, they are really responsive when I messaged them questions via Agoda. Good room and counter service too. The hotel is the nearest to USJ entrance and the newest. It is also at Universal City Walk where you can shop and eat, not forgetting 24hrs convenience store in the hotel and also at the City Walk, literally just outside the hotel. Did I mention the Universal City train station is less than 100m away? Great spacious hotel at Super Low price if I were to compared it with hotels in downtown. If I go USJ (or even travel to just Osaka), with such a neat train station and so near to Tempozan attractions too, I would definitely choose Park-Front Hotel at USJ.

I love this hotel! Was scouring the internet for hotels near USJ and came across this gem. It did not have a lot of reviews when I booked it but from the ones that were left, I was hooked. So I booked a 2-night stay for a family holiday and it did not disappoint. One, it is really near Universal City Station (by near I mean adjacent to it). Universal City Walk is a minute walk while Universal Studio Japan is at most a 5-min walk. Since it is really near Universal City Station, going anywhere in Osaka does not take too long. We went to Dotonbori on our 1st night there. Two, it is new (opened in 2017 I think). Three, the room is spacious (I booked a corner room so it might be bias). Four, the staff are really helpful and super friendly. The cherry on top is certainly the Skyspa on the top floor. (For beginners, i.e 1st time traveller to Japan, it is sort of like a hot spring in the hotel. What you do is you go up to the 14th floor, bring the hand towel provided by the hotel and wear the yukata prepared by the hotel. Bathe before you go into the hot spring and bathe again after. One crucial thing is you have to be naked at the soaking area. You can bring the small hand towel with you but do not wet it at the pool. All your belongings must be stored in the lockers provided and this should go without saying that phones and cameras are not allowed in the spa.) No downside to this hotel although if you want to be picky then the breakfast might not suit your palate as it caters mostly to the locals. My family and I love it tho. Another unique thing about the hotel is the amenities are given freely at the lobby, so a little self restraint is advised. In conclusion, this hotel has met my expectations and more. Will definitely stay here again when we come back.

This hotel is one of the best! Very near USJ, JR station, Airport limousine bus and Universal city walk where you can shop and dine. Just walking distance, about 5 -10 minjutes depending on the pace.The room/ facilities is very clean. complete toiletries with pajamas, slippers, comb, and even muscle relieving patches. You can also buy tickets for USJ and osaka aquariium and ferry boat from the hotel. The ferry boat terminal is just at the back of the hotel. I consider this hotel quite cheap considering the comfort and the amenities they offer. And lastly, the staff are very helpful, kind and accommodating. They can help you with the directions. Given another opportunity, I will definitely stay again in this hotel. Thank you so much Hotel Unviersal Port. You gave us a wonderful and amazing experience.

This is the hotel that is across Universal City subway Station. Also very close to the Captain Line ferry to Tempozan Village (Marketplace + Ferris Wheel + Osaka Aquarium) There is Lawson convenience store at the 1F. Their lobby is at 2F. They have coin laundry machines as well and our floor has free ice cubes to offer. The staff are very helpful - they have a counter for luggage deliveries to other hotels and airport and we bought our ferry tickets from their reception as well. 100% recommended and will definitely book in our next stay in Osaka.

Pros: As my title says, location-wise it is very convenient. Located in front of JR Osaka Loop line Taisho station while the osaka subway (light green line, cant remember the name of the line coz its too long lol) is just a few steps away as well (exit 2 Taisho stn) -Since its a new hotel (operating since Oct 2016) the facilities are new and clean. I hope they’ll be able to maintain it. Good ambiance all in all. -Excellent wifi connection -They have public bath (onsen?) - Breakfast is good. I stayed for 3 nights and had 3 breakfasts and noticed that the menu for Day 1 and Day 3 are the same. Hope they have more variety :) - Love the free drinks and some snacks from 2pm to 12mn Cons: -Room is small, a double room can barely fit my medium luggage. -Small shower area. But I like that they separated the toilet from the shower area and sink - Walls are not soundproof. You can hear people talking/laughing in the hallway

This is the best hotel i’ve stayed in japan so far. I was in osaka for a business trip and had to be in Intex so the location for me was perfect. If going elsewhere though, you will need to walk to trade ctr mae station which is just 10min away with convenient walkways. The best thing about this hotel was the room. I’m used to small, cranped rooms everytime i visit japan but this was just so spacious. Cleanliness is top notch as well as service. This is japan after all. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would book again if ever i need a convenient location near Intex

Our stay at La’gent was a very pleasant experience. The location is right next to a 7-11 convenience store which was great since we arrived late evening. The hotel was very easy to spot coming from the Kansai Airport Station, just after we passed Universal City Station we saw the large glowing sign on our left before making our last stop at Sakurajima Station. Universal City Station was actually slightly further away maybe about 10 mins walk, but it ended up being our main launch point for any travel we did along the rails throughout the day. Sakurajima station is even closer maybe 7 minutes away. There is no cover however so an umbrella could be helpful. The hotel itself is a nice and quiet place to sleep. The beds were more firm than expected but we easily grew accustomed to it. Many amenities including pajamas and toiletries are provided, with a little table in the lobby available to grab what you need. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. There is a breakfast buffet downstairs.

This hotel is in a great location to Universal city and Universals studios Osaka Japan. The JR train line is also close and links up the Osaka Loop line quite easily. The hotel rooms are considered quite small for western standards but are not "capsule hotel" size. The room we were in on the 29th floor was a twin that could be converted into a triple (there was a pull out bed under mine), which would have been a really tight fit. Please note that the beds used are really hard, my bed was literally a table (as it hid the extra pull out mattress) with a thin mattress on top. I found it very difficult to get comfortable and sleep on. There is not much room for luggage, but the bathroom is a decent size. You do want a room located on a high floor, as the noise from the theme park and the universal city walk does filter through. We could still hear the screams and music from the 29th floor but mostly stops by 11 pm. The staff speak generally good English and provide excellent service.

If you are flying into Kansei Aiport you can take the JR Express Train directly from the airport to Bentencho Station and walk from the station across the street to Porta Inn. It's 20 minute walk to Osaka Dome and the big Aeon Mall, and it's directly located with a bunch of restaurants. The room itself is very well designed, with black out curtains and more space then some other Japanese hotels in this price range. Would definitely stay here again.

I was planning a holiday for my family in Tokyo and decided at the last minute that we would include a visit to Universal Studios in Osaka for our 4 year old daughter. So as not to deviate too much from our Tokyo itinerary, we decided to spend only one night in Osaka ie. take the early shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka to be in time for the park opening in the morning, spend the whole day at the park, and return to Tokyo the following day. It was therefore important to find accommodation that was close to the park so as not to waste valuable time commuting from the hotel to the park and back. We were therefore very pleasantly surprised to find that Hotel Kintetsu Universal City was literally a stone's throw from the park - it took just 1-2 minutes to take a pleasant walk from the hotel doorstep to the park entrance! That wasn't only the plus point - the room was also very spacious and came with free take home Universal Studios toiletries. I will most definitely stay at this hotel on my next visit to Universal Studios, hopefully sooner rather than later!

our stay at the hyatt regency osaka hotel was wonderful. the hotel is located in the bay area but we didn't mind being away from the busy crowded downtown areas. public transportation is very easily accessible. we stayed in a queen room on the regency club floor which was very spacious, had a great view of the bay/harbor, was spotlessly clean and comfortable. every staff member provided superior service. i was previously a manager in the front office of a leading 5 star hotel so i have high standards and first hand knowledge of what it takes to "win over" your guests. i highly recommend the hyatt regency osaka hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Well, I was there for a concert so this hotel is pretty near the venue, just 5 mins walk to the venue. However this hotel is oretty far away from the nearest train station but it's still walkable distance, probably around 15 to 20mins of walk, you can hitch a cab if you want because it's gonna be cheap. Anyway, this hotel is nice by itself, the surroundings outside hotel gets abit dark in the night due to lack of lamp posts around so i wouldn't suggest a single lady to stay here. Oh one last thing, the staffs don't really speak other languages except Japanese.

My family of four planned to visit the aquarium and other places in Osaka. Hotel Seagull Tempozan was very close, within walking distance to the aquarium. The rooms were very small, but the location, service, and price were excellent. We appreciated how clean the rooms were and how the staff attempted to speak some English. We will definitely stay again when visiting the area.

Really spacious, clean and pleasant apartment. Close to Dekijima station (Hanshin line) and bus stop (connect directly to Osaka station - 40min). Supermarket is just 3 min away. Some good food shops open until late night (okonomiyaki and sobayaki, Takoyaki...) One small minus point for location is that the Osaka Amazing pass 2 days cannot be used for Hanshin line. However, the daily pass is ok. I would recommend for family and friend group.
